I Use Illusions to Control the Whole World
Chapter 356: The Shackles of the Supreme Heaven
Su Mu looked down, his deep gaze piercing the clouds to take in the mountains, rivers, and the myriad sights of the mortal world.
Suddenly, his figure vanished into thin air. When he reappeared, he had already arrived in the Imperial Capital of the Chiyan Empire.
Glancing at the dark gold ring on his left ring finger, he smiled faintly. "It's time to unlock the shackles of the Supreme Heaven."
Swish!
He teleported into the Chiyan Imperial Palace and strolled through the familiar halls, planning to randomly pick a lucky prince.
He didn't need a guide at all. He was so intimately familiar with the Chiyan Imperial Palace—having been here countless times—that it felt like coming home.
"No! Please, Thirteenth Highness, you can't do this...
You're only thirteen. King Chi has decreed that young princes are not to touch women. I'll be executed by King Chi..."
"Stop using King Chi to scare me. Sister Mingyue left the Chiyan Empire ages ago to attend the Seven Kings Council on the high seas. As long as you don't say anything, and I don't say anything, who will know? Come here, gorgeous! Hehehe... If you refuse, I'll order your execution right now!"
Su Mu stood quietly outside the room, listening to the conversation between the boy and the mature woman. The Seven Kings Council had already started? It seemed he could head straight there once he unlocked the shackles of the Supreme Heaven.Mingyue? So King Chi's real name was Shangguan Mingyue, and Shangguan was the Chiyan imperial surname.
This was his first time hearing King Chi's name. Not that it was a secret; he had just never bothered to find out. To him, what King Chi was called didn't matter. All that mattered was the Gold King.
Subsequently, taking advantage of the moment before the battle inside could commence, Su Mu directly made his move, soundlessly abducting the thirteen-year-old Thirteenth Highness.
As for that mature maid, she had already fallen into a deep sleep.
With his current methods, spiriting away a thirteen-year-old boy without anyone noticing was child's play.
Inside the Dream Space.
Stripped to the waist and chained to a cross, the Thirteenth Highness shouted in panic, "How bold! Do you know who I am? You actually dare to kidnap me! King Chi is my sister, do you believe I won't..."
Before his words could be finished, Su Mu slowly turned around, and a cold Silver-White Mask came into his view.
When he got a clear look at this Silver-White Mask, the Thirteenth Highness's pupils abruptly contracted, absolute terror seizing his face. "Pri... Pride!?"
In an instant, the Thirteenth Highness felt like falling into an ice cave, his face deathly pale.
Although young, as a member of the Chiyan Imperial Family, his understanding of the Seven Deadly Sins naturally far exceeded that of ordinary people, and he was acutely aware of the strength possessed by Pride, the Head of the Seven Deadly Sins.
As the man who had single-handedly destroyed the Blood Moon Imperial Palace and the leader of the world's largest terrorist organization, even his sister, King Chi, had to treat him with apprehension.
"Please, don't kill me... Waaah..."
Before Su Mu had even spoken a single word, the Thirteenth Highness's own defenses completely broke down, and he began to bawl.
This caused Su Mu to frown slightly. Was his reputation really that bad now? Just a mask was enough to scare a prince into tears?
Not that the Thirteenth Highness could be blamed for his fear. Since the Seven Deadly Sins debuted, they had never followed the unspoken rules among nobles, casually slaughtering them. Coupled with the destruction of the Blood Moon Imperial Palace, facing such appalling atrocities, the fact that the Thirteenth Highness didn't wet his pants now just meant his bladder was already empty.
The Thirteenth Highness was terrified to the extreme. His greatest reliance was his sister, King Chi, but in the face of the atrocious Pride, he knew even King Chi couldn't protect him.
Everyone in the world knew that Pride didn't put the Seven Kings in his eyes at all, much less a younger brother of King Chi who wasn't even born to the same mother.
"Quiet." An indifferent voice sounded from beneath the Silver-White Mask.
The Thirteenth Highness fell instantly silent. The horror vanished completely from his face, replaced by an expressionless stare.
He stared at Su Mu with hollow eyes, looking like a puppet waiting for its master's command.
Su Mu nodded in satisfaction, then slowly took the Supreme Heaven off his left ring finger.
Snap!
He snapped his fingers, and the iron chains binding the Thirteenth Highness vanished.
With a flick of his finger, the Supreme Heaven spun through the air in a perfect parabola, finally landing precisely in the Thirteenth Highness's hand.
The Thirteenth Highness expressionlessly put the Supreme Heaven on his hand and stood quietly in place, awaiting orders.
Su Mu raised a hand, and a mountain of treasure appeared out of thin air beside him. It was precisely the treasure from the Blood Moon Treasury. Although he had consumed a portion previously, plenty still remained.
He didn't know what price the Chiyan Imperial Family had originally paid to place shackles on the Supreme Heaven, but he figured these treasures should be enough.
If it wasn't enough, he still had two pieces of Primal Supreme Treasure ready at any time.
"Sacrifice these treasures to the Supreme Heaven and make a wish," Su Mu instructed indifferently. "Lift the restriction that only members of the Chiyan Imperial Family can use the Supreme Heaven."
With the Supreme Heaven's restriction about to be lifted, his expression remained peaceful, his heart completely unruffled.
With his current state of mind, treasures could rarely stir his emotions, holding far less appeal than fascinating people or events.
The Thirteenth Highness nodded silently. He then raised the hand wearing the Supreme Heaven and began to make a wish.
.......
.......
The high seas region of the Blood Moon Empire.
A massive ocean liner bearing the flag of the Chiyan Empire cruised slowly forward, like a moving fortress upon the sea.
Deep within the ship, in its largest room, King Chi had been munching on potato chips and reading an adult magazine when her expression suddenly changed. The chips dropped from her hand, spilling all over the bed.
Blazing golden flames abruptly ignited in her beautiful eyes, incomparably fierce, and a terrifying aura erupted like it had lost control.
In an instant, the entire ship was dead silent, plunged into a deathly stillness.
King Chi's pupils trembled, her face full of absolute disbelief. "The Supreme Heaven!? How could it..."
"Your Majesty!"
Bang!
The door was smashed open by a tremendous force, and an elderly figure barged into the room. It was Dongfang Yuan.
"Your Majesty, what's wrong? Why did your aura suddenly erupt? Is there an assassin?"
King Chi's body remained rigid, as if she were in a daze. She froze for two full seconds before finally reacting, shooting to her feet.
"The Supreme Heaven has appeared!!"
"What!?" Dongfang Yuan's expression changed abruptly. "Did your clone bring the Supreme Heaven back from the Nightmare World? But didn't you say your clone lost contact?"
King Chi gave a stiff shake of her head. "No, it's not my clone. She's still in the Nightmare World and hasn't returned."
"Then the Supreme Heaven..."
"I don't know either!" King Chi said, losing some of her composure. "It just suddenly appeared!"
She raised her jade-white hand; on her ring finger was worn an identical Supreme Heaven.
"The False Supreme Heaven originates from the true Supreme Heaven, and it can sense the true Supreme Heaven. Previously, I was able to determine the true Supreme Heaven's general location in the Nightmare World by relying on the False Supreme Heaven's resonance.
But now the sensed location has changed—it's actually turned into the Real World!
Which means the Supreme Heaven... has returned!"
"Could a squad other than Su Mu's have brought back the Supreme Heaven? I'll call the General Law Enforcement Bureau to confirm immediately!"
Dongfang Yuan hurriedly fished out an encrypted phone and dialed the General Law Enforcement Bureau. However, the response he received from the other end made his expression change.
"Terrible news, Your Majesty! Out of all the squads, aside from those already dead, absolutely no one has returned!"
Boom!
Terrifying golden flames erupted from King Chi's body, unleashing monstrous waves of heat!
