Ba Ba leaned slightly closer to Yang Dongqing and lowered his voice. "Supreme Heaven!"

"What is Supreme Heaven?"

"Supreme Heaven is a Royal Power Artifact of the Chiyan Empire, one of the seven most powerful Artifacts in the world. Every Royal Power Artifact possesses a unique ability, and Supreme Heaven's is... granting wishes!"

"Grant wishes!?" A sudden, burning intensity flared in Yang Dongqing's eyes as he faintly grasped the implications.

"That's right, granting wishes," Ba Ba continued. "Legend says that as long as you pay a sufficient price, Supreme Heaven can fulfill any wish! The recent eradication of the Chiyan Empire's Blood Clan was a wish King Chi made to Supreme Heaven! Otherwise, what other power in this world could ignore time, space, and distance to indiscriminately wipe out the entire Blood Clan within our borders?

"That is the power of a wish!"

"You mean that since Jasmine died because of Supreme Heaven, if I can obtain it, I can bring her back to life!?" Yang Dongqing's heart hammered in his chest. He finally saw a ray of hope!

Ba Ba nodded. "Exactly."

"Thank god, Jasmine can be saved!"

"Don't celebrate just yet. Everyone locked up in here is on death row. We'll be facing a firing squad in a few days. Never mind Supreme Heaven; figure out a way to stay alive first."

Yang Dongqing clenched his fists tight. "I will survive!"

Right now, he wanted to live more than at any other moment in his life. He had to survive—survive so he could resurrect Jasmine!

Watching the agitated Yang Dongqing, a meaningful smile flashed through Ba Ba's dark, bright eyes. "You've got ambition, but it's useless. Everyone who ends up in Prison 749 thinks exactly like that, but they all die in the end."

"You have a way out, don't you?" Yang Dongqing suddenly asked.

"What kind of way out could I possibly have?" Ba Ba crossed his hands behind his head and leaned back against the cold wall.

"No, you definitely have a way. You don't look the least bit worried about dying, and there's no reason for you to recruit a death row inmate into the Revolutionary Army." Yang Dongqing stared fixedly at Ba Ba.

Ever since Jasmine's death, he had been changing more and more.

Ba Ba chuckled but offered no explanation. Instead, he changed the subject. "Little brother, your accent doesn't sound local. Where are you from?"

"Star City."

"Star City?" Ba Ba abruptly sat up straight, narrowing his eyes. "Have you ever heard of the Seven Deadly Sins?"

"I have. Pride, the Head of the Seven Deadly Sins, first appeared at a banquet hosted by the Star City noble Murong Zhuo. Everyone in Star City knows about it."

"Could you tell me a bit about the Seven Deadly Sins, little brother? I'm quite curious about this organization that dares to slaughter nobles. As a local, you must know more details, right? Have you ever seen Pride with your own eyes?"

"I haven't, but I know someone who has."

"Who?"

"First, tell me how to escape Prison 749."

"Heh..." Ba Ba gave a smug smile. "Su Mu, Murong Mengli... right? And the Bronze Coffin, isn't it?"

Yang Dongqing's expression turned cold. He knew his mind had been read again.

"Come on, think a little more about Pride's intel for me. Let me have a listen."

Yang Dongqing turned his back, lay down facing the cold wall, and fell silent.

Ba Ba stared thoughtfully at his back.

Meanwhile, Su Mu was staring thoughtfully at Ba Ba's back, a slight curve lifting the corners of his lips. "Interesting."

For a member of the Revolutionary Army to know so much about Supreme Heaven, it seemed this man held a rather high position within their ranks.

But that brought up a question: why would someone like him be locked in the same cell as Yang Dongqing?

He had just taken a glance at the cell distribution across Prison 749. All the prisoners were segregated according to their threat level.

Yang Dongqing was only at Bronze Tier 2. Being locked up with a high-ranking member of the Revolutionary Army could only mean one thing: this Ba Ba was hiding something. He had likely concealed his true strength and intentionally gotten himself thrown into Prison 749. The enforcers had misjudged his capabilities, which was why they had tossed him into a Low Tier cell.

What was Ba Ba's goal?

Su Mu had a faint suspicion, but he needed a little more time to verify it.

About an hour later, Ba Ba's breathing steadied. As his dream gradually took shape, Su Mu slipped into it like a phantom.

Inside the dream, Ba Ba was a completely different person. His hunched posture straightened, and the grime vanished from his face, revealing sharp, chiseled features. His striking eyebrows slanted upward toward his temples, and his thin lips were lightly pressed together. Tall and lean, every step of his long legs carried a calm, forceful weight.

A black trench coat draped over his shoulders, snapping loudly in the howling wind.

Su Mu guided the dream, wanting to see exactly what the man was plotting.

As the saying went, what one thought of by day became their dream by night. Whatever someone secretly schemed during the day could manifest in their dreams with just a little guidance.

Deep inside Prison 749, countless prisoners were lined up and escorted into an expansive plaza. High walls towering into the clouds surrounded the area, and heavily armed soldiers stood along the perimeter, forming a tight ring to prevent any inmate from escaping.

Right in the very center of the plaza sat a gargantuan cage, standing as massive as a sprawling villa. The prison enforcers were roughly kicking the prisoners into the enclosure one by one.

"Hurry up! Move faster!"

Once all the prisoners were inside the cage, a figure of peerless magnificence appeared above the plaza. Clad in a dark gold phoenix robe that billowed in the wind, she looked down upon the inmates from her high vantage point.

Su Mu narrowed his eyes at the familiar figure. It was none other than the supreme ruler of the Chiyan Empire, King Chi!

To think a Revolutionary Army member like Ba Ba would dream of King Chi—and even manage to construct her image so perfectly. This meant Ba Ba had definitely seen King Chi in person.

He knew about Supreme Heaven and had seen King Chi. Could it be...

At that moment, King Chi slowly extended a pristine white hand. The wide sleeve of her robe slipped down under the pull of gravity, revealing her pale wrist. Her flawless skin glowed with a delicate luster beneath the sunlight, as warm as mutton-fat jade and as pure as freshly fallen snow.

Slender veins were faintly visible beneath her pale skin, adding a touch of vivid life to her hand.

Su Mu's attention, however, was not on her hand. He was focused on the dark gold ring on her ring finger. It was carved with intricate patterns, though the details were a bit blurry, almost as if it had been pixelated.

Seeing this, he couldn't help but smile slightly. Supreme Heaven was blurry because Ba Ba had never seen it with his own eyes, so his dream had instinctively blurred it out.

He could make a pretty good guess as to why. He himself had described Supreme Heaven to Yan Moxie, who then relayed the information to the Revolutionary Army, which eventually led to it appearing here in Ba Ba's dream.

With that revealed, Ba Ba's goal was completely self-evident: he was after Supreme Heaven!
