I Use Illusions to Control the Whole World

Chapter 108: Dumbass! Don't Fucking Move!

  • Next Chapter

A massive hand descended from the sky and snatched Mu Cheng, crushing several small Headless Ones to death on the spot.

Mu Cheng breathed a sigh of relief. At least the small Headless Ones weren't hammering him anymore. As long as he kept quiet, he should be fine. To think this, he was clearly still treating the Headless Ones like fools.

The very next second, the ten-meter Headless One pinched one of Mu Cheng's legs between two thick fingers and began frantically smashing him against the surrounding trees.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Several large trees were bowled over by Mu Cheng's body, echoing with thunderous crashes. The noise only excited the ten-meter Headless One. It swung him wildly until every tree in the vicinity was flattened, yet still unsatisfied, it started slamming him into the ground. It looked exactly like a child smashing down playing cards—using every ounce of its strength to hurl him down, picking him up, and hurling him down again in a tireless frenzy.

Boom!

Mu Cheng was smashed into a deep crater yet again. The ground beneath him had long since spiderwebbed with cracks, and his famously indestructible Mithril Body had suffered severe deformation. Even the joint connecting his leg to his torso had snapped apart, exposing a dense tangle of wiring.

"You... you damn monsters! I've had fucking enough!" A roar laced with absolute fury erupted from his throat. He couldn't hold it in anymore.

He felt like he was being singled out. He hadn't made a single sound, so why wouldn't they just let him go?

"Damn it! You can all go to hell! Su Mu can go to hell! Every single one of you can go to hell!!"

Mu Cheng dragged himself out of the crater, the red light in his eyes flickering madly. "Don't you fucking love noise? I'll give you plenty to listen to!

Initiate Self-Destruct Program!"

Hearing this from where he was strolling in the distance, Su Mu immediately picked up his pace. He didn't even care if his footsteps made noise and attracted a few Headless Ones.

Boom!!!

Mu Cheng detonated. The deafening roar of the explosion echoed across the entire forest. The ten-meter headless giant bore the brunt of the blast; in a blinding flash of white light, it was blown into chunks of gore that rained down over the landscape. Several of the small Headless Ones nearby suffered the exact same fate, their bodies utterly obliterated.

Everything within a hundred-meter radius was virtually leveled, and even Su Mu, a thousand meters away, felt a considerable shockwave.

Such an earth-shattering noise instantly drew the attention of every Headless One in the area. Dropping whatever they were doing, they sprinted toward the epicenter of the blast in a frenzy.

Su Mu smoothed down his hair, which had been ruffled by the shockwave, and smiled soundlessly. "That's one."

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh...

Five Mithril Alloy Cyborgs, gleaming with silver light, charged over at blistering speeds.

Su Mu briefly raised his eyes, checking the distance between himself and the cyborgs. He wasn't the least bit panicked. He even took a moment to straighten his suit, which had wrinkled from running. Then, under Mu Cheng's helpless gaze, Su Mu accepted Bubai's invitation and slipped into the Shadow Space.

Argh!!

Mu Cheng was so furious he wanted to throw his head back and roar at the sky, but he didn't dare. He had finally managed to lure away all the Headless Ones with a cyborg's self-detonation; shouting now would ruin everything.

Driven mad with frustration, he had no choice but to repeat his previous tactic and wait by the entrance to the Shadow Space. Unlike last time, however, he didn't dare twitch a muscle, terrified of making even the slightest noise.

Gradually, the horde of Headless Ones dispersed from the blast zone. They began wandering around in search of sound. A few even ambled right past Mu Cheng, making his heart pound in his chest.

Fortunately, nothing went wrong this time. The Headless Ones slipped past him and wandered off into the distance.

Tap... tap... tap...

A string of faint footsteps suddenly sounded right behind Mu Cheng.

Mu Cheng froze. Why were there footsteps? He slowly turned his head to look, not daring to speed up out of fear that turning his neck would make too much noise. After all, his neck was entirely metal.

When he saw the source of the footsteps, he stared in disbelief. It was none other than the bald man, Zhao Yongqiang.

At some point, taking advantage of the Headless Ones rushing toward the explosion, Zhao Yongqiang had actually wandered over.

Panic seized Mu Cheng. The red light in his eyes flared continuously as he motioned for Zhao Yongqiang not to move, but Zhao Yongqiang acted as though he hadn't noticed a thing. He kept coming closer.

Not far away, several wandering Headless Ones suddenly stopped in their tracks. The dense clusters of ears on their bodies twitched slightly, as if listening.

You motherfucker! Dumbass! Stop fucking moving!!

Mu Cheng roared inwardly. Perhaps his mental cursing had somehow worked, because Zhao Yongqiang actually stopped, coming to a halt roughly three meters away.

Phew!

Mu Cheng breathed a sigh of relief inwardly. Good. At least the guy wasn't too stupid.

He had no idea about the relationship between Zhao Yongqiang and Su Mu, assuming the man was just another recently arrived Nightmare Apostle. If he had known, he never would have breathed that sigh of relief.

Because...

"Ahhh!!!"

Without a shred of warning, Zhao Yongqiang opened his mouth wide and let out a frantic howl, screaming so loudly it sounded like someone had just broken his leg.

The scream gave Mu Cheng a massive fright. "You fucking—"

"For the Leader!"

A fanatical expression twisted Zhao Yongqiang's face as he charged at Mu Cheng, shouting repeatedly.

What did it feel like for someone to suddenly scream with all their might in a dead-silent forest? It was no different from a clap of thunder detonating over flat ground!

Instantly, the aimlessly wandering Headless Ones acted as if they had just received a signal. The ears across their bodies pricked up, and they charged over in absolute disregard for everything else.

"Damn you!" Mu Cheng snapped in exasperation. He threw a punch, his silver-gleaming metal fist obliterating Zhao Yongqiang's head in a single blow. The shouting came to an abrupt halt.

Seeing Zhao Yongqiang's body about to fall stiffly to the ground, Mu Cheng panicked and hastily caught him. But it was completely too late. That scream had already drawn all the Headless Ones over.

"Fuck!" he cursed inwardly. He directly commanded one of his cyborg bodies to sprint off into the distance, deliberately making a massive racket.

As a result, the Headless Ones that heard the noise immediately changed direction and set off in pursuit of the cyborg.

Before the crisis had even passed, an arm silently surfaced from a humanoid shadow on the ground. It elegantly picked up a pebble from the dirt and chucked it right at one of the cyborgs.

The power carried by the [Great Force Bombardment Punch] erupted instantly. The tiny pebble let out a sharp, shrieking boom as it violently slammed into the cyborg.

Clang!

A crisp and massive sound of impact rang out.

When Mu Cheng whipped his head around, all he could do was stare blankly as the arm waved, then retreated back into the Shadow Space.

"Su Mu! I'm gonna fucking kill you!! Ahhh!"

A person's mentality can shatter in a single instant. Sometimes it happens because of a crucial major event, and sometimes, it's triggered by a trivial matter like a tossed pebble.

"You want to use these monsters against me, huh? Then I'll slaughter them all first! I'd like to see what you can do then!"

Having been played for a fool time and time again, Mu Cheng's defenses were completely broken. Unable to hit Su Mu, he could only vent all of his rage onto the Headless Ones.

In his eyes, these small Headless Ones weren't truly dangerous, just a bit troublesome. With some effort, they could still be dealt with.

An all-out war thoroughly erupted, all because Su Mu tossed a tiny pebble.
