I Rebuilt FGO as a Tower Defense Game

Chapter 89: Shocking the Entire Venue

Oriole did not go up and boast about his product with a long-winded speech like traditional manufacturers. He simply walked forward silently and inserted the USB flash drive in his hand into the main console.

He picked up the microphone, looked at the dozens of players in front of him, and spoke in a tone as calm as if he were chatting with friends:

"Thank you all for coming to such a remote place. I won't waste any more words; let's just look at the big screen. Prepare your ears and eyes."

After saying this, Oriole pressed the play button directly and then retreated into the shadows.

Click.

The giant 4K screen lit up.

There was no flashy brand logo, not even a countdown.

"BOOM—!!!"

Accompanied by a soul-shuddering ancient chant, an epic symphony burst forth from the top-tier surround sound system in the Chaldea exhibition area like a breached flood, without any warning!

The sound was so pure and heavy; it lacked harsh high frequencies but carried a deep, penetrating power capable of making hearts resonate, instantly piercing through the walls of the sub-exhibition hall and spreading mightily toward the entire exhibition center!

Over at the main stage, Chairman Wang was preparing to announce the start of pre-sales for records of gods and demons.

Suddenly, that blood-boiling epic symphony forcibly overwhelmed the main stage's slightly thin sound system, reaching everyone's ears.

"What is that sound?!"

The media reporters and audience members below the stage stopped what they were doing and turned their heads in confusion.

The immense sense of narrative and incomparable grandeur contained within the music felt as if it were declaring the arrival of some ancient mythological era.

A commotion appeared among the crowd at the main stage.

"This soundtrack... this pressure! It's coming from Area E!"

"Let's go! Let's see what happened!"

Human curiosity is unstoppable, especially when this grand auditory impact far exceeds the boring light pollution of the main stage.

The first to move were several sharp gaming media reporters; they shouldered their cameras, abandoned Chairman Wang who was currently speaking, and jogged all the way toward the Area E sub-exhibition hall.

Following the leaders, the audience below the main stage began to surge toward Area E in large numbers, like receding seawater!

"Hey! Where are you all going! Our giveaway hasn't even started yet!"

Chairman Wang shouted anxiously on stage, but no one paid him any attention at all.

When the crowd, attracted by the music, squeezed into the Area E sub-exhibition hall, gasping for breath, all their gazes were instantly locked tightly onto that huge 4K screen on the wall!

On the big screen, what greeted everyone's eyes was an insanely long 2D tracking shot.

Amidst the sky-filling yellow sand, an ancient city so magnificent it was breathtaking—Uruk—smashed into everyone's retinas without reservation!

Immediately following that, the visuals, keeping pace with the beats of the impassioned symphony, began to showcase unreasonable action storyboards:

A figure with emerald green hair leaped down from the city wall, and countless chains shimmering with golden light, the Chains of Heaven, strangled the massive demonic beast with a physical tension that made one's scalp tingle;

At the top of the temple, the "Wise King" Gilgamesh, having shed his heavy armor, waved his hand proudly. Thousands of golden ripples cracked open behind him, and the golden firepower net pouring down from the sky washed the ground like a rainstorm!

And at the very end of the video, amidst a bone-chilling divine pressure, the silhouette of the Mother Goddess of Creation [Tiamat], vast enough to cover the sky, appeared faintly within the black mud...

In just a few minutes of footage, every single frame was frantically burning through an unimaginably terrifying budget!

"Is... is this 2D hand-drawn?!"
