Chapter 64 64: The Nightless Gawain

"Wait... what about the rest of them?"

PD watched the parents who had lost their children wailing on the ground, and a sudden, ominous premonition welled up in his heart.

Gawain looked coldly at the thousands of wailing refugees remaining.

"The rest of these people are all heretics."

"In the name of the Lion King, I grant you a merciful destruction."

Swish—!

The longsword in Gawain's hand swung down violently!

Following his action, the group of silver-armored Knights of the Round Table behind him, who should have represented justice and protection, seemed to transform into emotionless killing machines. They drew their longswords directly and charged into the unarmed refugees like tigers into a flock of sheep!

Blood instantly stained the yellow sand in front of the Holy City!

The shrill screams, the crying of infants, and the sound of bones cracking as the elderly were trampled by warhorses intertwined into a hellish requiem!

Silence.

PD's livestream, as well as all the players across the entire network currently experiencing this plot, were completely stunned.

"What... the hell is this doing?!"

"Slaughtering civilians?! These are the Knights of the Round Table?! This is the army under King Arthur who represents justice?!"

"Are they crazy?! Since when do knights turn their swords on unarmed refugees!"

The worldviews of the Blue Star players were subjected to an extremely brutal shock at this moment.

They had always thought that the main storyline of this chapter was to fight alongside the Knights of the Round Table against monsters.

Who could have imagined that the opening greeting they received would be the "embodiment of justice" in their hearts carrying out a unilateral slaughter of humanity!

"Stop! You bastards!"

PD's eyes widened in the VR, and looking at those refugees being cruelly murdered before his eyes, a strong sense of indignation surged in his chest.

"System! Hurry up and activate battle mode for me! I'm going to kill these hypocrites!"

As if it had heard his call, the tactical grid unfolded with a boom in the desert!

The system's deep red warning box popped up:

[Holy City Main Gate Defense Battle]

[Enemy Leader: Sun Knight Gawain]

"Gawain, right? Knights of the Round Table, right?! I'll beat you so hard your own mother won't recognize you today!"

Furious, PD threw all of his strongest trump cards without reservation.

[Mash] stood at the very front.

[Zhuge Liang] took his position on the high platform!

[Jeanne dArc Alter], [Gilgamesh], [Artoria] appeared for the finale!

He did not hesitate in the slightest; Zhuge Liang's skills were fully activated, instantly filling Gilgamesh's SP!

"Mongrel! All of you, go to hell!"

Accompanied by Gilgamesh's arrogant roar, the anti-world Noble Phantasm [Enuma Elish (EA)] was launched directly!

The red-gold storm covering the sky, carrying earth-shattering power, bombarded Gawain, who stood in the center of the battlefield!

In previous main storyline chapters, this combo could even directly blast away more than half of a Boss's health bar!

"Go to hell, you gorilla!" PD roared.

However, at the very moment that the earth-shattering Noble Phantasm storm was about to consume Gawain.
