I Rebuilt FGO as a Tower Defense Game
Chapter 62 62: Divine Realm of the Round Table - Camelot
While players were obsessed with "Isaac", the updates for "FGO" did not stop.
The Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Singularities were opened one after another at a steady frequency of one update per month.
The Glory of Rome, the Giant Waves of the Eternal Sea, the Deathly Fog of London, and the Deus Ex Machina of the North American Myth War.
Although these chapters were generally considered excellent, there was no qualitative change in difficulty or plot.
For those rich players and veterans who had been idle for months, logging in daily to farm resources, and holding seven or eight max-level (Lv.90) five-star powerhouses in their hands, clearing the Fifth Singularity was simply a breeze.
In the Shark Stream Room, PD leaned back in his boss chair very comfortably.
"Brothers, honestly speaking, the tower defense difficulty of these first five chapters doesn't seem like much now."
PD controlled his max-level [Gilgamesh] and [Jeanne dArc], watching the North American Singularity boss turn to ashes on the screen, and triumphantly blew a smoke ring.
"I just used the dual ultimate moves of my five-star powerhouses to wipe the floor; there wasn't a single monster that could withstand my burst damage."
"I'm not bragging, but my understanding of this game's tower defense has reached the peak. As long as those dog developers don't release some perverted mechanic that can directly delete my five-star cards from my inventory, I can walk all over this game!"
The chat was filled with agreeing comments:
"True, my F2P team is maxed out, and now I can clear it with my eyes closed."
""Isaac" is too mentally taxing; it's better to go back to FGO and wipe the floor with a max-level Saber to decompress."
"I feel like except for the wyverns in France, which were a bit novel, the later chapters are just stat checks. Have the stat designers at Chaldea run out of ideas?"
Just as players across the entire internet were immersed in the inflated illusion of "I am invincible"...
At 8 PM, a blinding golden holy light suddenly flashed across the "FGO" server interface.
Immediately after, a server-wide announcement filled with epic and solemn aura, accompanied by majestic military trumpet BGM, appeared on everyone's screens.
[Main Story Update: Sixth Singularity — Divine Realm of the Round Table, Camelot, officially unlocked!]
"Era: 1273 AD."
"Location: Jerusalem during the Crusades."
"At the end of this desert scorched by the scorching sun, the pure city of chalk towers into the clouds. That is the absolute Holy City that even gods cannot breach."
"Master, go and witness it. Witness the Saint King of the end, and the group of most pious, yet most cruel lions under her command!"
As soon as this high-class announcement was released, the entire internet instantly boiled over!
"Realm of the Round Table?! King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table?!"
"Holy crap! This is the top-tier IP in Western mythology! Gawain, Lancelot, Tristan... these are all legendary incarnations of justice, synonymous with heroes!"
"Charge, charge, charge! Finally, I can fight side by side with the Knights of the Round Table!" "I'm bringing my max-level five-star team; I'm going to be the coolest guy in Camelot!"
PD was even more excited, immediately extinguishing his electronic cigarette, opening the new map, and without hesitation, dragging his fully equipped five-star lineup, which cost hundreds of thousands, into his party.
[Spiritron Transfer, ready.]
The scene shifted to the central control room of Chaldea.
