I Really Am A Villain

Ch. 1770 - Terror Beyond Measure

“Still trying to struggle?” Xu Zimo sneered.

The Bright Light Dao Lord and the True Darkness Dao Lord exchanged a glance and replied, “Reaching the Infinite Dao realm took us a lifetime of effort. We finally achieved what we have today. Even with a great enemy before us, how could we be willing to give up so easily?”

“If that’s the case, then come and die,” Xu Zimo said calmly, beckoning with his hand.

The two Dao Lords snorted coldly.

A surge of light and darkness intertwined, terrifying power soaring skyward.

Light and darkness were opposites, yet also complementary.

The Bright Light Dao Lord and the True Darkness Dao Lord were brothers, cultivating together since childhood. Their powers had long since fused into one.

A torrent of light and a torrent of darkness surged upward, rumbling violently.

Black and white forces fused together in perfect harmony.

“Light-Dark Annihilation!” the two shouted in unison.

The power within them roared endlessly.

The black-and-white torrent rushed toward Xu Zimo. The black stream transformed into a long dragon, the white stream into a divine phoenix.

Dragon and phoenix roared together, shattering the void as they twisted forward to annihilate him.

“Interesting,” Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes.

“Two complementary edicts fused together. This should count as a Greater Edict.”

He raised Shadow Tyrant as well, black and white rules bursting forth around him.

“Perfect timing. I also possess the edicts of light and darkness,” Xu Zimo laughed.

“Even using the same power, I can still defeat you.”

Shadow Tyrant roared as light and darkness spread across the blade. Xu Zimo stepped into the void.

Heaven-shaking blade light erupted.

Empowered by light and darkness, the blade obliterated the dragon and phoenix outright.

“How is this possible?!” both of them exclaimed in shock.

They knew Xu Zimo was strong, but after a lifetime of cultivation, they had full confidence in their combined technique.

They never imagined it would be so utterly ineffective.

The True Darkness Dao Lord shouted, “Run!” and immediately leapt into the air.

“Where do you think you’re going?” Xu Zimo chased after him.

His speed was even faster.

The Bright Light Dao Lord’s expression changed drastically. Gritting his teeth, he shouted, “You go. I’ll stop him!”

As he spoke, the Bright Light Dao Lord charged straight at Xu Zimo.

He intended to trade his life to buy time for his brother to escape.

“Such deep brotherly affection. How cute,” Xu Zimo said with a smile.

He grabbed the Bright Light Dao Lord, smashed his head with a single punch, then split him in half with one slash.

He slaughtered Dao Lords as easily as dogs.

Such was the arrogance and confidence of one who was invincible among peers.

With one hand, he tossed the Bright Light Dao Lord’s corpse aside.

Seeing this, the fleeing True Darkness Dao Lord’s eyes split wide with rage as he roared, “You will die a horrible death!”

“I don’t know whether I’ll die or not,” Xu Zimo replied with a smile, “but today, you certainly will.”

At this moment, the True Darkness Dao Lord stopped fleeing.

He halted on a cliff halfway up the mountain. On that ledge stood a towering formation.

Standing within it, the True Darkness Dao Lord activated the formation.

He was so unhinged that after activating it, he began to laugh wildly.

“Today, I will blood-sacrifice the entire Eighteen Blade Purgatory to avenge my brother!”

The instant the formation activated, something unseen seemed to descend from the heavens.

Immediately afterward, the entire territory of the Eighteen Blade Purgatory was enveloped by a mysterious force.

No one could leave the Eighteen Blade Purgatory.

The three Dao Lords who had been entangled by the Bamboofolk saw this and their faces turned ashen.

“Darkness, you’re insane! Are you going to drag everyone down with you?” the Gravity Dao Lord roared.

The Ice Dao Lord and the Summoning Dao Lord also looked grim.

Clearly, they all knew what this formation meant.

Earlier, Xu Zimo had killed the other Dao Lords. These three survived only because they were trapped by the Bamboofolk.

The True Darkness Dao Lord laughed maniacally, completely deranged.

“We were all going to be killed by him anyway. What’s wrong with dying together?”

Hearing this, the other Dao Lords cursed him furiously.

Meanwhile, the disciples of the Eighteen Blade Purgatory were utterly bewildered.

This level of battle was far beyond them. They could only watch helplessly.

Now, seeing the ancestors arguing among themselves, they were full of confusion.

“The enemy hasn’t been killed yet, and we’re already fighting among ourselves.”

“Is it because of that formation? Does anyone know what it is?”

Someone pondered deeply, then suddenly remembered something. His face went pale.

“I… I think I know what formation this is.”

“Say it!”

“In our Eighteen Blade Purgatory, there’s a Blood Sacrifice Grand Formation, left behind by an extremely radical Infinite Dao ancestor. He believed that if one day the Eighteen Blade Purgatory were destroyed, everyone should die standing, taking the enemy down with them.”

“But over the years, with the Eighteen Blade Purgatory relying on the Divine Court and thriving more and more, this formation was gradually forgotten.”

“The Blood Sacrifice Grand Formation?” someone’s face changed.

That did not sound like anything good.

“What does this formation do?”

“It’s said that once the formation is activated, all the blood essence of everyone in the Eighteen Blade Purgatory will be drained and fused together, unleashing a strike that spans the ages. One strike to kill the enemy, and with our blood completely drained, we will all die.”

“No way. That’s too extreme,” a disciple exclaimed in horror.

“The ancestor has gone mad. No, I don’t want to die. I won’t stay here.”

Many disciples began trying to flee, rushing down the mountain.

But the disciple who explained it earlier gave a bitter smile.

“Once the formation is activated, it’s already too late to leave.”

Sure enough, many people found they could not escape the range of Divine Mountain. A mysterious force repelled them every time.

Even the Gravity Dao Lord and the others could not damage the formation, no matter how they attacked it.

Once the formation was activated, it meant mutual destruction. Death was inevitable.

Some people were so frightened they began to cry.

“I feel… my blood is draining away.”

“I feel it too.”

Many faces turned deathly pale. As their blood essence was drained, the heavens above were dyed crimson.

In the blood-red sky, a scarlet sphere was forming, something inside it struggling to break free.

The formation absorbed blood essence relentlessly.

Not even the three Dao Lords were spared.

Their cultivation methods all carried the formation’s imprint. This was something required to join the Eighteen Blade Purgatory.

Even the True Darkness Dao Lord himself was being drained, but he did not care at all.

Instead, he laughed loudly and looked at Xu Zimo.

“You’re dead for sure.”

“Is that so?” Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes.

He did feel a sense of pressure, but it was still not enough.

Finally, after the formation continued for more than ten minutes, countless people had their blood completely drained.

Bodies collapsed all over the ground.
