Ivy Tanner nodded. "Mm-hmm, I remember now. My husband’s name is Lucas Rhodes."
Lucas Rhodes raised his voice slightly. "When you’re done cleaning, go to the housekeeper to get your pay. Don’t come back tomorrow."
"The Fifth Master..." The maid’s face instantly turned ashen.
Lucas Rhodes looked up at Ivy Tanner. "Iris, breakfast is ready. Push me downstairs, and we’ll eat together."
"Okay!" Ivy Tanner went around behind him and pushed his wheelchair with a convincing air.
This act terrified the other servants, but none of them dared to step forward and stop her.
Fortunately, the house had an elevator. Lucas Rhodes directed her to push him inside, and they went downstairs together.
When they reached the first floor, Ivy Tanner pushed him into the dining room.
After that, there was nothing left for Ivy Tanner to do. Lucas Rhodes had a maid set the table and serve breakfast.
After sitting down, however, Ivy Tanner didn’t touch her chopsticks. She had to put on another act, pretending she was too intimidated to eat at the main table.
Lucas Rhodes played along, eventually reassuring her so she would eat. Only then did she dare to pick up her chopsticks.
After they finished eating, it was time for Lucas Rhodes to leave for work. Ivy Tanner feigned reluctance, grabbing the corner of his shirt. "Husband, I want you to stay with me a little longer."
Lucas Rhodes could tell she had something she wanted to say, so he dismissed the servants. Under the pretext of wanting some intimacy, he made sure they were the only two left in the vast living room.
Ivy Tanner immediately asked, "Is there still no news about Claire Sinclair?"
Lucas Rhodes shook his head.
Worry filled Ivy Tanner’s eyes. "We can’t let this go on. She’s pregnant. If something were to happen... No, I shouldn’t think that way. Mr. Rhodes, can you please help look for her?"
Lucas Rhodes felt it was beyond his power to help, but he didn’t want to disappoint her. "If even Quincy Manor can’t find her, this is likely beyond my abilities," he said. "But I will help ask around."
"Thank you!" Ivy Tanner said gratefully.
Lucas Rhodes patted the back of her hand and said in a low voice, "If anyone in this house bullies you, tell me. I’ll back you up."
Ivy Tanner smiled. "That won’t be necessary. There are more good people in the world than bad. I refuse to believe everyone is unkind to a simpleton. You can go to work without worrying."
"Alright." Lucas Rhodes agreed and turned to leave.
Ivy Tanner saw him to the door and watched until his car departed. Only then did she return inside, shutting herself in her room and refusing to be disturbed.

Ever since Claire Sinclair’s disappearance, Quincy Manor had been in a state of leaderless chaos.
Adrian Quincy had been gone for several days, and no one could find him. But everyone knew he was only out searching for his wife.
Orion Osborne arrived at the gates of Quincy Manor in disguise. After asking the security guards a few questions, he subtly gleaned that Adrian Quincy was not inside, then turned and left.
Orion Osborne took out his phone and entered a complex string of code. He quickly received a reply: He’s in The Endless Sea.
「The Endless Sea.」
At the entrance stood a tall, imposing figure. He was like the midday sun, radiating boundless light and an awe-inspiring aura of righteousness.
Countless thugs and hooligans had caught wind of his arrival and rushed over. A vast crowd of over a hundred men gathered on Bitter Sea Avenue, facing off against him alone.
It was clear he had brought nothing with him, not even a gun. All he brought was his formidable aura of righteousness.
Adrian Quincy’s cold eyes narrowed, and he took a step forward.
Seeing this, the crowd opposite him involuntarily took a step back, completely intimidated by his sheer presence.
As he took a second step, someone in the crowd yelled, "Adrian Quincy, what are you doing here? Don’t come any closer!"
Adrian Quincy paid them no heed and continued to walk forward.
Even as they all aimed their guns at him, he had no intention of stopping. The men opposite him, however, seemed to have run out of room to back away and were forced to stand their ground.
