"Lin Yaodong, don’t go too far!" Even in her agitated state, Shu Xin maintained her refined upbringing. "My daughter was born with a noble bloodline! She’s a genuine aristocrat, with or without the Lin Family’s support!"

"That precious girl you’re raising, no matter how nicely you wrap her up, you can’t hide the rot that comes from her very core! She might be dazzling now, but without your Lin Family, she’s nothing!"

"Like mother, like daughter. Both of you are such bullies! Do you think your Shu Family can change her fundamental nature just by coating that filthy thing in gold? Trash is trash! That’s a fact that will never change!" Lin Yaodong stalked toward the electronic gate with a dark expression, pressing on relentlessly. "Get your daughter out here! She has to apologize to my daughter today!"

"Get one thing straight: the one who should be coming out to apologize is your daughter, Lin Zhenxiang!" Shu Xin was furious but did not lose her composure. "My little grandson got sick from eating at your Lin Family’s restaurant yesterday, and he still hasn’t recovered!"

"Don’t go pinning every little sickness on us! That filthy trash from the Lower Star District is already crawling with all sorts of nasty viruses. I should be blaming *you* for bringing them into my restaurant!"

Lin Yaodong seemed to deliberately raise his voice.

Shu Xin grew flustered. "What are you shouting about!"

Lin Yaodong sneered, his voice dripping with smug satisfaction. "I want the whole neighborhood to know just what kind of filth is living here!"

Shu Xin’s expression suddenly turned cold, but she didn’t lose her composure as she had before.

"Then go ahead, shout all you want. This is a new villa development, still under construction. We’re the only household here. They haven’t even set up security yet. How else do you think you got in?"

The Shu Family used to live in a densely populated, upscale neighborhood. They had been worried that their once-harmonious neighbors would change their attitudes because of her daughter and grandson’s origins, thereby hurting them in unseen ways.

So, the eldest brother of the Shu Family took charge and moved the entire family to this new villa development, which was still under construction. For now, they were the only household here. It was quiet and hassle-free, and they didn’t have to worry about the judgment of others.

Of course, a community that wasn’t fully developed had its drawbacks. For instance, things like the security camera system and gate access hadn’t been completely installed yet.

And that gave people like Lin Yaodong an opening.

However, just today, there had been some activity at the villa next door. When Lin Yaodong arrived, he had seen moving robots going in and out.

He ran over to the neighboring house, stood outside the gate, and bellowed toward the property: "Hey, you new here? Do you know that the family next door has a lowlife from the dumps of the Lower Star District!"

The owner next door didn’t emerge, but there was a sudden stir in their yard.

The automatic sprinklers on the lawn activated at once, their nozzles swiveling in unison to point outside the gate.

One jet of water after another blasted Lin Yaodong right in the face!

She stood on tiptoe, trying to peer through the metal fence and see just what kind of people her new neighbors were.

But both sides of the fence were covered in dense green foliage, forming a long, tall barrier that blocked the view and provided excellent privacy.

"You just wait!" Lin Yaodong spat through gritted teeth as he left. "As long as that trash of a girl doesn’t apologize to my daughter, I’ll make sure you people don’t get a single day of peace!"
