Chapter 638: Chapter 638 Aging Is a Social Construct I Refuse to Participate In

The following night, Hazel and Alexandra finally got the opportunity to meet several more of Lin Feng’s women.

At first, neither of them thought too much about it.

They had already met Ning Xi, after all.

Ning Xi’s beauty had been enough to leave both women impressed when they first encountered her, but after spending more time in Lin Feng’s company, they had gradually become accustomed to seeing extraordinary women around him.

At least, that was what they thought.

The moment the door opened and the other women began entering, however, both Hazel and Alexandra slowly fell silent.

One woman entered. Then another. Then another.

Each possessed a completely different kind of beauty.

One had an elegant and dignified aura, carrying herself like an aloof immortal who had descended from the heavens.

Another had a gentle smile and a warm temperament that immediately made people feel comfortable.

Another was cold and distant, her beautiful eyes carrying an almost untouchable quality.

There were also women who appeared playful, graceful, mysterious, or refined.

Their personalities were different, their appearances were different, and their styles were completely different.

Yet every single one was breathtaking. Hazel’s mouth slowly fell open.

"Where..."

She paused, apparently struggling to find the right words.

"Where did all these women come from?"

Alexandra didn’t answer. She was too busy staring.

For the first time in her life, she felt as though she had walked into a gathering where she was surrounded by women who belonged in the pages of mythology.

On Earth, both Hazel and Alexandra were accustomed to being considered exceptionally beautiful.

They had spent years receiving attention wherever they went.

People stared when they entered restaurants. Fans gathered around them.

Photographers constantly wanted their pictures.

They had never seriously questioned their own attractiveness.

Why would they?

They were already among the most beautiful women in their world.

But this world was different. This was the cultivation world.

Here, beauty seemed to exist on an entirely different level.

Alexandra quietly leaned toward Hazel.

"Are all women here this beautiful?"

Hazel shook her head slowly.

"I don’t know."

She looked around again.

"Maybe we just happened to meet the most beautiful ones."

That explanation sounded reasonable.

At least, until another stunning woman walked through the door.

Alexandra’s expression immediately changed.

"Never mind."

Hazel couldn’t help laughing.

"Yeah. I’m starting to think that’s not the explanation."

The two women exchanged looks.

Then Alexandra whispered,

"How are we supposed to compete with this?"

Hazel’s smile disappeared for a moment. That was exactly what she had been thinking.

Back on Earth, they had stood near the peak of beauty.

Here, they suddenly felt ordinary. Not ugly. Not unattractive. Far from it.

But compared with some of the women surrounding Lin Feng, they no longer felt quite as extraordinary as they once had.

It was a strange feeling. A humbling feeling. And neither woman was accustomed to it.

Alexandra crossed her arms and sighed.

"I suddenly understand why Ning Xi wasn’t worried about us."

Hazel glanced at her.

"Why?"

Alexandra pointed subtly toward the women around them.

"Because she knows this isn’t a competition."

Hazel remained silent. She had to admit that Alexandra had a point.

Lin Feng’s world was simply too vast.

There were countless powerful cultivators, ancient sects, immortal inheritances, mysterious realms, and countless beautiful women who seemed to have stepped out of legends.

Trying to compare herself to every woman in this world would be exhausting.

Eventually, Hazel released a long breath.

"Well..."

She smiled again.

"At least we still have our own advantages."

Alexandra nodded.

"Exactly."

They both understood that beauty wasn’t everything.

They had their own personalities, talents, experiences, and qualities that had brought them this far.

More importantly, Lin Feng had chosen to bring them into his world.

That alone meant something. The initial shock gradually faded. Curiosity replaced insecurity.

Hazel began asking questions about the cultivation world.

Alexandra listened carefully whenever someone explained the strange customs of the immortal world.

The more they learned, the more astonishing everything became.

People could cultivate for hundreds or even thousands of years.

There were flying swords, magical treasures, spiritual medicines, ancient inheritances, and realms far beyond anything they had ever imagined.

Even the concept of ordinary beauty seemed different here because cultivation itself could change a person’s appearance and temperament.

Eventually, Hazel looked toward Lin Feng.

She had thought Earth was already an enormous world.

Now she realized that Earth was merely a tiny corner of something far, far greater.

Alexandra seemed to reach the same conclusion.

She quietly smiled.

"Looks like we still have a lot to learn."

Hazel nodded.

"A whole lot."

The two women had arrived in this world expecting to be overwhelmed.

They hadn’t expected just how completely their understanding of reality would be turned upside down.

But after the initial shock finally faded, something else began growing inside both of them.

Excitement.

They weren’t merely visiting another country anymore.

They had stepped into an entirely different civilization.

They had thought the surprises would finally end there.

They had already met Ning Xi and several of Lin Feng’s other women, each one beautiful enough to make them question everything they had previously believed about beauty.

Then they had encountered even more women from the cultivation world, and Hazel and Alexandra were beginning to understand that what they had seen so far was merely the tip of the iceberg.

But then they met Emery. And after Emery came Rong Xian.

Both women were stunned all over again.

Emery, Lin Feng’s beautiful cook, possessed a gentle elegance that made her stand out immediately.

Rong Xian was different, carrying the pure and innocent aura.

Yet despite their differences, both were extraordinarily beautiful.

What was even more shocking was that there were several other girls who hadn’t even made it to Lin Feng’s bed yet like Emery and Rong Xian.

Hazel stared for several seconds before finally sighing.

"There’s really no end to this, is there?"

Alexandra shook her head.

"I don’t think there is."

The two exchanged a helpless look.

The realization was both intimidating and humbling.

Alexandra folded her arms.

"Then we have to cultivate."

Hazel immediately looked at her.

"You’re serious?"

"Completely."

Alexandra’s expression became determined.

"Think about it. We’re ordinary mortals. Even if we live a long and healthy life, eventually we’ll grow old."

She glanced toward Lin Feng and then toward the women surrounding him.

"A hundred years from now, we might not even be here anymore. Meanwhile, some of these women could still look exactly the same."

Hazel’s expression became serious. She had been thinking about the same thing.

She didn’t want to become a distant memory in Lin Feng’s impossibly long life.

She didn’t want to watch him continue living for thousands of years while she slowly aged.

"I’ll cultivate too," Hazel finally declared.

Alexandra smiled.

"Then we’re in this together."

"Absolutely."

Their determination attracted the attention of someone nearby.

"Welcome to the club, girls."

Both women turned around.

Mrs. Fox was standing there with a knowing smile.

Hazel immediately recognized the expression.

"You understand what we’re feeling?"

Mrs. Fox chuckled.

"More than you realize."

She had once been in almost exactly the same situation.

She had come from the mortal world Earth and had initially struggled to understand how enormous the cultivation world really was.

The first time she saw cultivators, magical techniques, and women who could remain beautiful for centuries, she had experienced the same overwhelming realization.

She had been ordinary.

Then Lin Feng had changed her destiny.

"Don’t feel discouraged," Mrs. Fox continued. "Being a mortal doesn’t mean you have to remain one."

Alexandra’s eyes brightened.

"You really think Lin Feng can help us cultivate?"

Mrs. Fox nodded.

"If he is willing, then yes."

Hazel released a breath she hadn’t realized she had been holding.

That simple answer gave her hope.

Until that moment, she had been looking at the cultivation world as though she had arrived at the bottom of an enormous mountain with no path toward the summit.

Now, at least, she knew a path existed.

She simply had to start climbing.

Alexandra smiled as well.

"So we’re not hopeless."

"Not even close," Mrs. Fox replied.

She looked at the two women with an amused expression.

"But don’t expect cultivation to be easy. The stronger you become, the more difficult the path will become."

Hazel nodded.

"That’s fine."

She looked toward Lin Feng again.

"I’ve already decided."

Alexandra immediately agreed.

"Me too."

Mrs. Fox couldn’t help smiling.

"Then welcome to the cultivation world."

The three women exchanged determined looks.

Their circumstances were different from those of Lin Feng’s other women, but they now shared the same goal.

They would cultivate. They would become stronger. They would extend their lifespans.

And they would make sure that the distance between ordinary mortals and cultivators would no longer define their futures.

For Hazel and Alexandra, this wasn’t simply about competing with other beautiful women for Lin Feng’s attention.

It was about refusing to let time decide their fate.
