The first wave came like a flood.

More than twenty Terra Beasts rushed toward them at once, their owners following close behind. Wolves, panthers, bears, giant boars, and lizards charged through the broken forest with murderous expressions on their faces.

The ground shook beneath their feet.

"Bee, take the sky! Lily, mark the ones on the left!" Theodore shouted.

"SKREEE!!!"

Garuda shot into the air at once, its golden wings flapping powerfully as green wind gathered around its body. Above the battlefield, Lily appeared for half a second before vanishing again.

Theodore’s eyes sharpened.

"Air Cutter!!"

Garuda flapped its wings.

Dozens of green wind blades shot down from the sky, each one marking an enemy, hitting dozens of them simultaneously.

BANG!!

BANG!!

BANG!!

Three wolves were thrown backwards, breaking through the dozens of trees before stopping. A giant lizard got hit directly in the side and rolled across the ground, which was sundered apart by the air blades. A Gold-Tier bear raised its claws to block, but Lily suddenly appeared behind it and went through its neck before it could react.

Thud.

Seeing a few of their companions collapse instantly, the beast turned around in panic.

"Oh no, you don’t!! Bee, Use Sky Hammer!!"

"SKREE!!!"

Dozens of green wind currents started rolling around before coming together to form a gigantic green fist of air.

BOOM!!

The bear was blown backwards before it could even react.

Theodore landed on the ground with a heavy breath. Every time his Terra Beast fought, he used his own bloodline powers to fight with it. He didn’t even have a chance to pause for a second before another Terra Beast was already rushing toward Aria from the side.

"Garuda, right side! Lily, distract it!"

"CHRIIP!!"

The small swallow appeared above the beast’s head.

It chirped loudly before vanishing as the Terra Beast looked up in confusion.

That one moment was enough.

Garuda descended from the sky like a golden arrow, its claws smashing directly into the beast’s back.

BOOM!!

The enemy Terra Beast crashed into the ground.

Theodore stood in the middle of the battlefield, his green robe fluttering in the wind as he looked toward the remaining attackers.

For the first time since arriving in the private realm, he did think about trying to catch up to Raiden. He only focused on his own fights.

For the first time, he looked like a real Battle Master.

"Come on!!" Theodore shouted, raising his gaze towards the enemies. "Who else wants to try?!"

The enemy group paused.

A few of them looked at each other with uncertain expressions.

This was not the Theodore they remembered.

The boy who had always been praised as talented but soft had disappeared. The young man standing in front of them now was calm, sharp, and completely unwilling to take even one step back.

"Sha Sha!!"

On the other side, Neva threw both of her little limbs into the air.

A massive wall of light appeared in front of Aria just as several arrows and wind blades came flying toward her.

BANG!!

BANG!!

BANG!!

Every attack crashed against the wall and disappeared.

"Sha Sha!!" You bad people can’t hurt Big Sister Aria!!

Neva waved her limbs again.

Behind her, dozens of golden-white weapons formed in the air.

There were light swords, light spears, light hammers, light chains. Even several giant hands made entirely from glowing light appeared above the battlefield.

The enemies stared upwards at the weapons that hung above them like an executioner’s blade.

"What kind of Terra Beast is that?" One of them muttered.

"I don’t think we can win this...." Another one muttered with a despondent expression on his face.

"Attack her before she finishes making more weapons!!"

A group of four Gold-Tier Terra Beasts rushed toward Neva.

A black wolf took the lead, its jaws wide open as it tried to bite the little white spider.

Neva did not even move as a giant hand made of light appeared above the wolf.

SMACK!!

The wolf was slapped into the ground so hard that its entire body got buried halfway into the dirt.

The other three Terra Beasts froze.

"Sha Sha!!" Neva tilted her head. Do you want a turn too??

Before they could answer, the light hammers in the sky came down one after another.

BANG!!

BANG!!

BANG!!

The three beasts were knocked unconscious before they could even reach her.

Raiden watched the scene with a proud smile.

"Good job, Neva!!"

"Sha Sha!!" Neva’s eyes became little crescents.

(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)

Did you see that, Rai Rai? Neva is very strong now!!

"Yes, yes. You are the strongest little spider in the world."

Neva started glowing in happiness.

"Hiss Hiss..." Rose slithered beside Raiden, looking at the unconscious beasts around them. Can Rose fight now??

"Yes." Raiden nodded. "But no killing. Don’t drain too much blood either."

Rose’s eyes lit up.

"Hiss Hiss!!" Rose understands!!

A group of Battle Masters charged toward them from behind a giant stone wall, hoping to take out Raiden by surprise.

They had probably seen that Theodore and Neva were busy and thought Raiden was the weakest target.

It was not a bad plan; they just forgot to account for a little crimson phyton that was standing beside him.

Rose flicked her tail as the blood left behind from Theodore’s battle suddenly rose from the ground; the crimson liquid twisted in the air before turning into several long whips.

"Hiss!!"

The whips cracked forward; the weapons flew out of the attackers’ hands first, then the blood wrapped around their legs.

Then all five Battle Masters were dragged through the dirt and slammed into a tree.

THUD!!

They fell unconscious immediately.

Rose looked up at Raiden proudly.

"Hiss Hiss~" Rose only used a teeny bit of force, like Rai Rai asked~

✩⸜(˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝✩

Raiden stared at the crater in the tree where the five people had landed. By the looks of it, they each had multiple bones broken in their bodies.

"Yes..." He nodded slowly. "Very little indeed."

Behind them, Woolie stood beside Aria with his chest puffed out. He had not moved from his position even once.

Every time an enemy attack got close, he would take one step forward and glare at it so hard that violet sparks began flashing around his horns.

"Woolie Woo..." Why am I not fighting??

Aria patted his wool gently.

"You are protecting me, Woolie. That is a very important job."

"Woolie..." The little sheep looked toward the battlefield where Theodore, Neva, and Rose were fighting. Then he looked at the enemies rushing in from every direction, and finally he looked back at Aria.

A conflicted expression appeared on his little face. He wanted to fight. He really, really wanted to fight, but Raiden had said to protect Aria.

And Emperor Woolie always kept his promises.

"WOOLIE WOO!!" Fine!! This Emperor will guard Big Sister Aria until every enemy learns fear!!

Aria laughed softly at his words. "Thank you."

For a few more minutes, the battle continued. Theodore’s side was holding back the enemies bravely. Neva was using her enemies as target practice, while Rose was playing whack-a-mole with her enemies, using tons of blood to beat up enemies senseless.

Even Raiden had not needed to move much yet, other than occasionally punching a Battle Master who got too close and sending them flying into the nearest tree.

But Raiden’s expression gradually became more serious.

Something was wrong.

The enemy force was large, but they were not fighting like normal competitors; they were not trying to win quickly, but they were just trying to exhaust them.

The weaker Terra Beasts attacked first and got knocked down, then stronger ones came behind them. Whenever Theodore used too much energy, another wave came from a different direction. Whenever Neva formed a large shield, wind-type Terra Beasts would focus on breaking it.

They were slowly draining the group.

Raiden looked toward Darius, who had not moved from his position since the fight began. He was simply standing there with his arms crossed, watching calmly.

Then Darius smiled.

"Enough wasting time." He raised one hand.

Every Wind-Binding Crest on the battlefield started glowing at once, as the storm-blue lines connecting the Terra Beasts became thicker.

A frenzy swept through the beasts as they roared loudly. Their muscles swelled, their eyes filled with madness. The pressure from the battlefield suddenly doubled.

Theodore’s face changed. "Everyone, get back!!"

The fifteen Platinum-Tier Terra Beasts that had been waiting at the edge of the battlefield finally stepped forward together.

A giant black bear smashed its claws into the ground, a massive eagle opened its wings in the sky, the three-headed hyena began growling, poison dripping from all three mouths.

The stone crocodile dragged its enormous body forward, crushing the ground beneath it.

At the centre of them all, a huge rhinoceros covered in dark metallic scales lowered its head as a wind drill began spinning around its horn.

Darius finally moved.

He stepped onto the battlefield and looked directly at Aria. "Young Miss, you had your chance. Now I must drag you off by force!!"

Theodore gripped his fists hard as he glared at him.

Neva’s light weapons flickered in the sky. Rose’s blood whips curled around her tiny body.

Woolie took one small step forward as Violet lightning flashed across his horns.

Just as the serious atmosphere started prevailing over the entire crowd, a chuckle rang out, instantly lightening the atmosphere as Raiden stepped forward.

"With just you, the coward who was hiding behind others?? Come, I’ll beat you all alone just using my one hand, come~"
