Chapter 209: Traveling Away From Home

"Brother, have you packed your toothbrush??"

"Yes."

"What about underwear??"

"Yes."

"Don’t forget about an extra pair of socks!!"

"I got them!!"

"Stop!!" Raiden raised his hand in protest.

"Am I the big brother, or are you my big brother? I can pack for myself, okay? Just calm down a little."

Sylvia started to pout after hearing these words.

"I was just trying to help you, stupid big brother!! Humph~!"

"And I really thank you for helping, but right now you are distracting me more than you are helping, okay, so just calm down. Besides, it’s not like I’ll be going for a long period of time. It’s just a few days." Raiden softened his tone as he petted her head, trying to console her.

Sylvia turned her head away to the side but did not stop him from petting her head.

"Where are you going again??" She asked after a while.

"Stormwind City, home of Old Man Tobias and Aria. You met both of them during New Year’s, remember??" Raiden answered.

"Oh, you meant that super kind big sister!! I remember her." Sylvia spoke up. She remembered meeting Aria, and that adorable, kind of clumsy big sister instantly created an impression in her mind.

"And what is this family trial all about??" She asked.

"To be honest, I have no idea as well, but their family has helped your brother massively in the past. To be honest, I am guessing some people want to bully Big Sister Aria, so I am going there to protect her." Raiden spoke in a light tone while completely packing his bag.

"Someone wants to bully her? No wonder. She kind of looks like a very easy person to bully..." Sylvia muttered under her breath.

"That she does, but we can’t say that to her face. I will be going there to help her for a few days. Since everything will happen within the family, there will be no danger. Don’t worry about me and enjoy yourself with your friends. Have you packed up everything as well?? I will be dropping you off at Yuna’s house before I leave. You can’t live here."

Raiden looked at his little sister with worry. He was still not sure who was targeting their family, but he had no intention of leaving her unguarded.

"All done! I completed everything last night. It’s only you who have been delaying us until now." She lifted her head up cockily, making Raiden speechless.

Was packing up so early something to be proud about?? He had no idea what went on inside this little girl’s mind.

"Alright, I’m all done." Raiden put the last few clothes in a suitcase before putting it all away in this spatial ring. It was an incredibly convenient gadget, given to him by Maple only.

They had given him Woolie, a spatial ring, start-up funds to get his farm off the ground, and so much more. Maple even saved his life last time they were on the battlefield. He owed them too much.

After making sure everything was all right, both siblings left the farm where Woolie, Neva, and Ruby were already waiting downstairs for them.

"Woolie Woo!!" Emperor Woolie is ready to go on an adventure!!

All three of them stood at attention in front of the siblings, looking like they were ready to go on a war.

Raiden turned speechless just by seeing their antics. He didn’t hope for too much. He just wanted them not to make trouble until it was time to fight. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to compensate the other party.

"Alright, since everyone is ready!! Let’s go!!!" After giving final instructions to the animals left behind on the farm, Raiden got up on his motorcycle, ready to leave.

"Umm... Big brother, can I try to drive??" Sylvia had tried to hurt him with glittering eyes. ( ｡ •̀ ◡ •́ ｡)

"What? You want to try this? Do you know how to drive it??" Raiden asked incredulously.

"No, but how hard can it be?? You just need to hold the handlebar and turn on the throttle, right??" Sylvia commented, making Raiden’s head covered in dark clouds.

This girl didn’t want to drive; she wanted to reunite them both with their parents!!

"You know what? Sure, you can drive. I’ll sit behind, as long as you can pick it up." Raiden let go of the motorcycle and put it on the stand before walking away a few steps and gesturing for Sylvia to go ahead.\

If he didn’t, he would hear her nag throughout the way.

"Yay!! Just watch me!!" She rolled up her sleeves and grabbed the handlebar before trying to move the motorcycle.

"Huugghh!!!" She put all the muscles she had into moving it, but wasn’t even able to pick it up.

But she didn’t give up, doing her best to move it. Raiden watched all this from the side with a smile on his face. This bike looked light from the distance, but it weighed more than a whole ton!!

Putting that small nuclear engine onto a bike plus chassis capable of withstanding such high speed very easily put this bike’s weight to more than a tonne. Normal people couldn’t even lift such heavy bikes. Only Battle Masters could do so.

So he stood aside while munching on some food he withdrew from his ring as he watched her struggle.

After a few more moments of struggle, Sylvia gave up with a despondent expression on her face.

"Well, do you still want to drive??" Raiden asked with a chuckle.

"Humph!! Stupid heavy bike, just like you, I don’t want to drive it anymore. You can drive!!" Sylvia turned her head away in frustration.

"I told you from the beginning. Now, get on. We don’t want to be very late." Raiden handed her a helmet before tying the little one on Woolie’s head and himself.

Woolie jumped on the gas tank in the front, while Neva turned small and jumped into his pocket, and Rose wrapped herself around his neck.

"Alright, let’s go!!!"
