Chapter 872: Chapter 460: Return to the Southern Wilderness (Part 1)

After giving instructions to Qin Wentong, Li Mu immediately let Min Mo leave first.

Watching the departing figure of Min Mo, Li Mu’s face darkened.

From the previous conversation, and with Elder Min undoubtedly being an inside agent sent by the Demon Abyss, the sound of preparations for a journey has been released, using himself as bait to potentially distract them, diverting the Demon Abyss forces’ attention from the Seven Profound Sect remains unpredictable.

"Well, regardless, the plan has already begun; I can only proceed step by step." Li Mu sighed inwardly, and solemnly instructed Qin Wentong, "Elder Qin, the sect is entrusted to you, make sure to keep an eye on Elder Min as well."

Qin Wentong nodded, speaking in a deep voice, "Rest assured, Sect Master, I will keep a close watch on Elder Min’s every action, not letting her have any opportunity. Meanwhile, I will strengthen the inspections and defenses within the sect to ensure its safety."

Li Mu nodded slightly, satisfied, "Elder Qin, I have always trusted you with tasks; remember, if any anomalies are detected, immediately report to the Upper Sect. The adversary is beyond your ability to withstand."

"Yes, I will follow the Sect Master’s instructions!" Qin Wentong replied earnestly.

Li Mu said nothing further, turned and left the Sect Leader’s Mansion, taking Xue’Er, and flew towards the Profound Celestial Sword Sect.

The next day, before the sky was fully bright, the eastern horizon was already tinged with a faint golden hue. Within the Profound Celestial Sword Sect, the atmosphere on Asking Sword Peak was exceptionally solemn, the air seemingly filled with the chill of sword qi.

Profound Celestial Sword Sect, Asking Sword Peak.

Under the ceremonious send-off by Qiu Yuanhong, Xiao Shuang, Yunyi, two Integration Sword Cultivators, accompanied by a group of Refining Void, Divinity Transformation cultivators, appeared on the teleportation array platform, with Li Mu among them, protected left and right by the two Integration Cultivators. Though his cultivation wasn’t high among them, his identity was particularly important as a Supreme Elder capable of refining tier seven Dao swords.

"Elder Yun, Elder Xiao, this journey is long and fraught with dangers, ensure Li Elder’s safety." Qiu Yuanhong earnestly instructed, his gaze filled with hope and trust.

Yunyi and Xiao Shuang exchanged a glance, both nodding in agreement. Yunyi replied, "Rest assured, Elder Qiu, we will do our utmost to protect Elder Li."

Li Mu also respectfully said, "Thank you, Elder Qiu, for your concern, I will endeavor with all my effort in this mission, not failing the sect’s trust."

After everyone bid their farewells, the teleportation array platform lit up with dazzling rays, they felt a powerful force envelop them, and soon their vision went dark, traversing the endless void.

Li Mu and his group were teleported to the Ten Thousand Stars Sea Region, then transferred to a warship, heading towards the South Wilderness Spirit Realm.

As Li Mu departed, a few days later, Charm Owl quietly returned to the main hall of the three Demon Lords’ residence, a hint of fatigue on her face but her eyes shimmered with excitement.

Moving swiftly, Charm Owl organized the collected intelligence, preparing to report to the three Demon Lords.

Arriving outside the main hall, Charm Owl stopped, patiently awaiting the summons from the three Demon Lords.

Soon, a series of heavy footsteps echoed from the hall, as the Shadow Demon Lord, Soul-devouring Demon Lord, and Blood Refining Demon Lord appeared in succession. Their presence instantly filled the previously empty hall with an aura of slaughter, making the atmosphere solemn and tense.

Charm Owl stood outside the hall, feeling the invisible pressure, she adjusted her breath and promptly stepped into the hall.

The gaze of the three Demon Lords were cast upon Charm Owl, a mix of scrutiny and expectation made Charm Owl’s heart shiver; she knew the importance of this report, thus quickly calming her inner turmoil, respectfully bowing.

"Great Demon Lords, after days of deep investigation, Charm Owl has gathered crucial intelligence regarding Li Mu, specially here to report."

Charm Owl’s voice echoed in the vast hall, clear and firm, invigorating the three Demon Lords.

"Speak!" Soul-devouring Demon Lord nodded slightly, his eyes flickering with the eagerness to discover Li Mu’s whereabouts.

"Yes, subordinate has learned Li Mu is seeking the whereabouts of the Extreme Yang Secret Realm, hence subordinate ventured back to the Seven Profound Sect, fabricated a clue related to the Extreme Yang Secret Realm, attempting to draw him out." Charm Owl nodded, detailing the information.

Charm Owl’s words, clear and pleasant, each word landed like a hammer on the hearts of the three Demon Lords.

"Extreme Yang Secret Realm?" Blood Shadow Demon Lord exclaimed in surprise.

Soul-devouring Demon Lord and Shadow Demon Lord exchanged a glance, equally astounded, Li Mu’s sought after Extreme Yang Secret Realm undoubtedly was another sealed land.

Previously, Blood Demon Lord - Dana, and Bu Mie Demon Lord - Tian Jue, were both vying for several sealed lands with him and fell because of it. Now, three sealed lands, Extreme Yin Seal, Polar Seal, Nether Water Seal, have all due to him, fallen into the Profound Celestial Sword Sect’s possession.

These sealed lands are keys to unlocking the Two Realms Passage, yet due to his involvement, they were successively lost. This brat is simply their nemesis! No wonder Great Demon God was so furious, demanding his swift extermination.

Charm Owl was slightly taken aback, not understanding what happened to the three Demon Lords! Did she make a mistake? Does this Extreme Yang Secret Realm have another origin?

"What’s the result! Did he fall for it?" Soul-devouring Demon Lord looked at Charm Owl and continued questioning.

"Great Demon Lords," Charm Owl took a deep breath, a sly hint in her eyes, indicating, "Li Mu indeed was drawn by our fabricated clue, but he didn’t fall directly for it."
