Chapter 537 - 264: Yan Yingsi Devours Feng Yongkang (3)

Afterward, with a solemn expression, he sat cross-legged in the cave dwelling, closed his eyes, and focused his mind, channeling his consciousness into the Evil Eye Space.

After smashing Feng Yongkang with a single punch earlier, Liou Yuan had sensed something unusual with the Evil Eye.

At that time, Mao Shengjie was present, and Liou Yuan couldn’t show any abnormal behavior.

Now that he has returned, the first thing to do is naturally to investigate closely.

"What trouble is Yan Yingsi stirring up again?"

Muttering to himself, Liou Yuan’s consciousness had already entered the chaotic Evil Eye Space.

The instant he entered this space, the first scene he saw was a vast expanse of red light.

The source of the light was naturally the area where Yan Yingsi’s soul resided.

The crimson light transformed into threads of energy within the chaotic space, as if battling some presence.

Soon, Liou Yuan spotted who was causing Yan Yingsi to take action, standing in the center of the crimson threads.

This person had a white, beardless face, with a lascivious look in his eyes.

However, there was no longer the usual arrogance in his gaze; instead, he looked terrified as he dashed around amidst the encirclement of the crimson threads, trying to escape.

"Feng Yongkang!" Liou Yuan instantly recognized his identity.

Indeed, it was Feng Yongkang, the one whose head Liou Yuan had crushed with a punch over the Black Sea, or more accurately, Feng Yongkang’s soul.

His physical body had already been destroyed, and by rights, a Foundation Establishment Level soul should have been scattered by the wind and waves on the sea surface.

Unexpectedly, the power of the Evil Eye had directly captured it into the Evil Eye.

Liou Yuan quickly shook his head, dismissing the idea that Feng Yongkang was captured by the Evil Eye, because the Evil Eye never captures the souls of cultivators.

He glanced deeply at Yan Yingsi and said, "It wasn’t the Evil Eye that captured him, it was Yan Yingsi!"

Similar to the encounter with the Soul-Devouring Demoness, Feng Yongkang had been targeted by Yan Yingsi.

Feng Yongkang’s fate was easily imaginable.

In less than a quarter of an hour, Feng Yongkang’s soul was engulfed by the crimson threads, swiftly dragged into the closed-eyed body of Yan Yingsi.

Upon closer inspection, Yan Yingsi’s body was undeniably more tangible compared to when Liou Yuan first entered this Evil Eye Space.

The eyebrows on her cold and elegantly beautiful face appeared lifelike, and there was no longer the illusory quality that a soul should have; rather, it seemed more like an actual physical body.

Squinting, Liou Yuan scrutinized Yan Yingsi for a moment and speculated, "She devoured the Soul-Devouring Demoness, and now Feng Yongkang as well. Is this her way of enhancing her cultivation?"

Unfortunately, Liou Yuan is not knowledgeable in soul refining.

He only felt that Yan Yingsi’s current cultivation method resembled those of the Demon Dao practitioners who use souls to nourish evil spirits.

The Soul-Devouring Demoness was one kind of such evil spirits.

"Yan Yingsi perished on the path of the True Law Dao, and now her remaining soul is dedicating itself to the evil spirit path?"

"My Evil Eye has become a Ghost Nurturing Land."

Liou Yuan rubbed his temples in frustration.

Witnessing this scene, a bit of apprehension stirred inside him.

Who knows if Yan Yingsi still retains her consciousness from her lifetime; she devours souls of the Foundation Establishment Level. If she ends up nurturing a powerful evil spirit that cries out to the heavens, the first target might be me.

Evil spirits and evil corpses have similar circumstances.

One cultivates the physical body, the other the divine soul.

In the history of the Cyan Feather Realm, there have been both ferocious and unrivaled evil corpses, as well as evil spirits that caused chaos in the Cultivation Realm.

"Fortunately, she is currently in my Evil Eye. While it’s easy for her to enter, leaving requires my consent."

"If it ever reaches a point where she’s a threat to me, I’ll make sure to lock her within my Evil Eye no matter what."

Currently, Yan Yingsi evidently lacks the ability to threaten Liou Yuan, and as the master of the Evil Eye, Liou Yuan has absolute control over this space.

Any of Yan Yingsi’s movements could not escape Liou Yuan’s watch.

Therefore, Liou Yuan decided to continue observing for a while longer.

Giving Yan Yingsi a deep look, he withdrew from the Evil Eye.
