I Have 10,000 SSS Rank Villains In My System Space

Chapter 342: Qualification

Chapter 342: Qualification

Almost everyone was frozen in place.

The spectators?

The nobles?

The warriors who had fought moments ago?

Even King Julius himself stood utterly stunned.

For the first time since he had ascended the throne, the King of Atlantis felt his thoughts fracture into complete disarray.

Pregnant?

His daughter? his real daughter? pregnant? Like real thing in which one have kids pop out their stumacks? After doing that.. that thing???

By a human?

The idea didn’t just feel wrong. It felt impossible. Unreal. Like a statement that shattered the laws of sense itself. His mind rejected it instinctively, yet the image in front of him refused to fade: Razeal’s arm firm around Sofia’s waist, her body drawn close to his without resistance, her silence heavier than any protest.

King Julius’s breath stalled halfway through his chest.

He genuinely didn’t know what to say.

For a ruler who had silenced oceans and commanded storms, words abandoned him completely.

Above the arena, Maria’s eyes were twitching harder than anyone else’s.

That single sentence.. That she’s pregnant with my child.. had hit her like a slap across the face. Not because she believed it, but because.. That was just making her feel kinda.. bad? Even though she immediately understood that it was… A lie.

A calculated, reckless, stupid lie.

Her head snapped sideways.

“That was your plan?” she asked as turning sharply toward Arthur, her voice low but vibrating with irritation.

Arthur didn’t even flinch.

“Sshhh,” he muttered casually, lifting a finger. “Keep your voice down.”

He was smiling.

A proud, shameless grin stretched across his face as he watched the arena below, watching his father’s colourful expressions ..As his face twist into something he had never seen before..

Arthur was enjoying every second of it.

Maria stared at him like she wanted to strangle him.

“Weirdos,” she muttered, shaking her head in open disappointment. She doesn’t care.

Though her er gaze slid back toward the arena, toward Razeal’s hand still pressed against Sofia’s waist. Her eyes narrowed coldly, irritation burning behind them.

This is ridiculous, she thought. There’s no way the King would be stupid enough to believe something like that.. Right?

Still, she said nothing.. Saying that it doesn’t concern her.

On the arena floor, Sofia was barely breathing.

Razeal’s arm around her waist anchored her in place, his presence warm and solid.. too close, far too close for the situation. Her mind lagged behind reality, blinking uselessly as the meaning of his words echoed again and again.

Pregnant?

With his child?

When?

How?

Wtf?

Her gaze flicked sideways toward him, irritation already flickering in her eyes.. but she reined it in almost instantly.

She understood what he was trying to do.

As reckless and absurd as it was… it could work.

Convincing her father by force would be impossible. Convincing him with emotion? Even harder.

This lie.. this outrageous, shameful, public declaration might be the fastest way to corner him.

So Sofia swallowed her reaction for now..

And just nodded.

The movement was subtle. Small. But it might as well have been an earthquake.

King Julius saw it.

His heart slammed violently in his chest.

She nodded.

She really.. nodded.

“You.. you.. you…!”

His finger shot up, trembling as he pointed straight at Razeal. His face twisted under the weight of too many emotions colliding at once anger, disbelief, confusion, and something dangerously close to fear.

“This is a lie,” he said sharply, his voice rising despite himself. “It has to be. You still have time to retract this.”

He wanted.. no, needed Razeal to deny it.

Yet even as he demanded it, part of him hesitated.

Who would lie about something like this?

In front of the entire colosseum.

Before the King of Atlantis? And not to say even his own daughter standing there nodded nos.

And then there was the way they stood.

Too close.. As if they are very familiar.

That human’s hand.. still on her waist like it belonged there.

King Julius’s jaw clenched.

Razeal, meanwhile, felt heat creep up his neck.

The weight of the lie crashed down on him all at once.

This was fucked up shameful, he thought, dragging a hand down his face. Why did I even agree to this?

The embarrassment hit him full force now.. raw, immediate, and impossible to ignore. Saying it had been one thing. Standing in it, feeling the eyes of thousands drilling into him, was something else entirely.

So

“…Yeah it is..” he said suddenly.

Arthur’s smile froze.

“I was lying,” Razeal continued, rubbing his face, shame coloring his expression. “Whatever.”

The words dropped like a stone.

Arthur’s jaw tightened instantly.

That pussy.. he cursed internally.

Sofia stiffened.

Her lips twitched sharply as color rose to her cheeks.. not embarrassment alone, but irritation. Real irritation.

“You..” she hissed under her breath, eyes snapping toward him. “Why would you say that if you were just going to back down?”

Depregnanting me now??

She had even nodded.

She had played along.

And now this?

The embarrassment shifted entirely onto her shoulders.

King Julius stared between them, his expression tightening.

“…Really?” he asked slowly..

Suspicion crept back in, crawling over the cracks left by shock. His gaze lingered on Sofia, then returned to Razeal.. searching, weighing, trying to decide whether he had just been manipulated… or spared.

Part of him wanted to believe the denial.

Another part.. one he couldn’t silence still wasn’t convinced.

Razeal nodded.

He didn’t say anything. He didn’t try to justify himself or soften the situation. He simply nodded his head once, silently admitting it.. though the embarrassment still clinging to him like a thin layer of heat beneath his skin.

Beside him, Sofia hesitated.

For a fraction of a second, she stood frozen, her lips pressed together, eyes flickering with something dangerously close to shame. Then, with no other option left, she nodded as well.

A small nod.

Embarrassed but.. Reluctant.

She had just lied to her father lied about something that serious.. in front of the entire colosseum.

The realization hit her fully only now, and it made her chest feel tight.

“Fheww…”

King Julius exhaled sharply, dragging the back of his hand across his forehead. The relief was immediate and visible, like a storm cloud breaking apart all at once.

For a moment.. just a moment he had genuinely believed it.

The thought of his daughter being pregnant, especially by a human, had nearly stopped his heart.

His gaze hardened almost instantly as he turned back to Sofia.

Not anger.

Not yet.

But a very clear, very firm warning settled into his eyes.

We will talk about this later.

Sofia felt it immediately and swallowed.

The King then turned his attention to Razeal.

“Well,” Julius said heavily, straightening his posture again, regaining his composure as a ruler. “That’s good, then.”

His voice hardened.

“But don’t ever pull stunts like this again, kid. I’ll forgive it this time because you admitted it yourselves.. but don’t joke with me in serious situations.”

There was no warmth in his words now.

Only authority.

“And no,” he continued firmly. “I already said it. You cannot marry her. Ask for anything else. I will compensate you to best of my abilities.”

Razeal’s eyes lifted slowly.

“What would it take,” he asked calmly, his voice quiet but steady, “to change your mind?”

King Julius didn’t hesitate.

“Go back in time,” he said bluntly, “and this time, don’t be born human. Be born an Atlantian. That would work.”

There was no mockery in his tone.

Just finality.

“So,” Razeal said slowly, looking at him directly, “you’re discriminating against me because of my race?”

“Yes,” Julius replied immediately. “I am. So what?”

He stood tall, unashamed.

“I will not disappoint all of Atlantis over this. Not for you. Not for anyone.”

Razeal said nothing.

He crossed his arms, his expression unreadable as his thoughts began to move.

I could run, he thought briefly. Take her and leave. He wouldn’t be able to stop me.

But the thought died just as quickly.

That would be stupid.

Kidnapping the princess would maybe destroy.. his title he gained just now so..

No.

That wasn’t the way.

If he wanted this.. if he wanted to stand here without bending then he needed recognition. Not just from the King.

From Atlantis itself.

So his gaze suddenly shifted.

Slowly.

Until it landed on the trident in Julius’s hand.

The Trident of the Sea.

Ancient… Sacred and thing which gives you absolute authority in sea..

Razeal blinked once.

That could work.

If the trident recognized him, then Atlantis would have no ground to stand on.

“If I’m recognized by the Trident of the Sea,” he said suddenly, lifting his hand and pointing toward it, “then I’d be recognized as someone fit to rule, right?”

Sofia stiffened.

Her eyes speechless as as she turned toward him.. like as if saying.. Are you serious dude?

The King though actually laughed.

“You think you can lift the Trident of the Sea?” Julius said, shaking his head. “Yes, if you could, you’d be deserving. But do you really think that’s possible?”

He stepped forward, planting the trident firmly into the arena floor.

“You’re human. Even Atlantians fail to lift it. Not even royal blood guarantees it.”

He shook his head again, condescending but calm.

“It’s impossible.”

And then..

He stopped.

Mid-sentence.

Because Razeal’s hand was already on the trident.

No hesitation.. no struggle and no buildup.

He wrapped his fingers around the shaft and lifted.

The trident rose from the arena floor as if it weighed nothing.

Just like that.

And

King Julius’s stoof their as if.. he was born as statue.. rather then a man.

Even the entire colosseum went dead silent.

And Razeal stood there, holding the Trident of the Sea.

Ding!!

[Congratulations. Due to your title “Son-in-Law of All Sea,” a hidden effect has taken effect.]

[Hidden Effect: Gaining the qualifications to be the husband of the Daughter of the Sea is resonating with the Trident.]

[You have gained partial qualifications to raise the Sacred Treasure: Trident of the Sea.]

Ding! Ding!

[Warning: The hidden effect has not fully taken effect.]

[Host has yet to meet the requirements to unlock full control over the Sacred Treasure: Trident of the Sea (SSS+).]

The text paused, as if the system itself were weighing something.

[Hidden Requirements to Unlock: ???]

Razeal blinked slowly as he saw system notifications apearing in front of his eyes .

His grip on the trident did not loosen, but his attention shifted inward, scanning the sensation running through his arms, his spine, his core.

Hidden requirements…?

That explained it.

That hollow feeling.

The absence.

He looked down at the golden trident in his hands. It gleamed brilliantly, divine engravings pulsing faintly, ancient authority humming beneath the surface.. yet the power was muted, restrained, like a sealed ocean behind an unbroken dam.

So that’s why I don’t feel anything much..

No overwhelming will or power.. Like this trident should be giving..

No crushing dominion over water.

It didn’t feel fully fake.. but it didn’t feel complete either.

So this thing is only cooperating halfway, he realized. Acknowledging me… but not submitting.

Still, even in this state, the trident felt unnaturally light in his hands. Too light. As if the concept of weight itself bent around his will.

Experimentally, he shifted his grip.

The trident responded instantly.

Its length altered by a fraction as Its balance adjusted perfectly.

The density changed as easily as thought too

He could feel it.. clearly now.

He could make it longer.

Shorter, thicker and Sharper.

He had feeling that he could even make it tower over the arena like a colossal pillar if he wanted to.

Even sealed for me… but it’s ridiculous, Razeal thought.

There was something else too.. something deeper, locked away. A presence he could sense but not touch. Power vast enough to drown continents, yet utterly unreachable.

Water, he guessed. It has to be water right? Obviously

But no matter how he probed, it remained silent. He couldn’t control what main ability of this trident is..

Razeal exhaled softly through his nose.

Whatever… he didn’t lift it to use it anyways

He raised his gaze.

King Julius still hadn’t moved.

The ruler of Atlantis stood frozen, eyes wide, face pale, lips parted as if words had abandoned him entirely. His body.. once radiating unquestionable authority looked momentarily hollow, like a statue cracked by a single blow.

Razeal tilted his head slightly.

“So,” he said calmly, breaking the unbearable silence, “I can marry the princess now, right?”

Then, as if the thought amused him, his lips curved faintly.

“Or… should I ask you for the throne instead?”

The words landed like a tidal wave.

King Julius’s throat moved.

He swallowed.. hard.

The sound was audible.

Sofia stood beside him, utterly stunned, her mouth slightly open, eyes locked on the trident in Razeal’s hands. Confusion and speechlessness clear in her eye’s.. Really?

Whils.. Arthur collapsed.

Not figuratively.

But

Literally.

He dropped to his hands and knees, palms slamming into the arena floor as tears streamed freely from his eyes.. tears of disbelief, humiliation and despair.

“How… how is that possible…?” he choked, his voice breaking. “I’m pure-blood… I trained my entire life…!”

Snot ran from his nose. Tears blurred his vision.

“How can a human… be more qualified than me…?”

The trident’s glow reflected in his trembling eyes like mockery.

Maria covered her face with one hand, fingers pressing hard against her brow.

“This is the only time,” she murmured bitterly, “that I wished he really was talentless.”

Her gaze slipped through her fingers, landing on Razeal.. on the trident.. on Sofia standing frozen beside him.

And

The colosseum was no longer breathing.

Not metaphorically.

Actually.

The entire audience had fallen into a collective silence so deep it felt as if the sea itself had stopped moving.

Children stared with mouths open..

Elders clutched their seats.

Warriors felt their knees weaken.

Raising the Trident of the Sea was dream of everyone..

Every Atlantian child grew up hearing stories about it. Every warrior trained hoping.. knowing they would fail but hoping anyway.

And now

A declared human by king had done it.

Whispers spread like ripples.

Could the king be wrong?

Was he mistaken?

Is he really human?

And then the realization hit.

Slow.

Heavy.

Unavoidable.

If he raised the trident…

Then he has the highest qualification Atlantis recognizes.

Higher than blood?

Higher than lineage?

Higher than tradition?

That meant

He can now marry to princess without anything now right?..

And no.. wait.. Above that..

That kid… no. That Chosen One could he be the King of the Sea now?

Sigh… sorry, guys. Only one Chapter today.

And honestly, I don’t know if it’s that good or not since I was very sick today. If it feels off, please just ignore it for today. While I was reading it, I didn’t really see any problems, but that might be because my head felt completely frozen.

It could be good too.. I’m just not feeling very confident about it, and that’s probably because of the fever too. So… yeah, I don’t really know.

Just wanted to say that in advance if something goes wrong. And thank you all so much for your support and love. Thanks for reading.
