Chapter 328: Emperor Rank Stats???
Chapter 328: Emperor Rank Stats???
Seeing the faint satisfaction settle into Razeal’s expression as Arthur finished speaking, the prince couldn’t help but smile as well. He threw his head back slightly and laughed, the sound light and unguarded.
“Hahaha,” Arthur laughed, clearly pleased. “It’s rare to meet someone who actually understands what I’m saying instead of calling it nonsense.”
Outwardly, he looked relaxed, even jovial. But deep inside, his eyes sharpened, his thoughts moving far faster than his words.
This boy… Arthur studied Razeal from the corner of his vision. He’s absurdly strong for his age. Human or not, this isn’t normal. Not even close.
Arthur had fought geniuses. He had trained under monsters. He had seen prodigies who shattered expectations.. but Razeal was different. There was no polished arrogance in him, no cultivated confidence born from being praised since birth. His strength felt… earned. Tempered. Like something carved out through pain rather than gifted by fate.
It’s better to stay on good terms with someone like this, Arthur decided. Enemies like him don’t stay small for long.
Aloud, his tone softened, almost conspiratorial. “It’s fine. I’ll teach you more later. We’ll talk properly. I even know some… very good places.” He grinned meaningfully. “Places where you can get the best stuff.”
Then his expression shifted not dramatically, but enough. The smile thinned, the humor dimmed, replaced by something closer to concern.
“But before all that,” Arthur continued, lowering his voice, “you really need to understand your situation right now.”
Razeal glanced at him but said nothing, allowing him to continue.
“I don’t think you’re taking the second examination seriously,” Arthur said. “And I’m not saying this to mock you. I’m saying this because I was serious earlier. Dead serious.”
He exhaled slowly, eyes flicking briefly toward the royal platform high above before returning to Razeal.
“Your next examiner is Knox.”
The name itself seemed to carry weight. Arthur’s voice dropped another notch.
“He’s not just strong,” Arthur said. “He’s not even what you’d call a person anymore. That thing… it’s one of the strongest existences in the entire ocean. Maybe the world.”
Razeal raised an eyebrow slightly.
Arthur noticed and shook his head. “No. Don’t look at me like that. I’m not exaggerating.”
He hesitated, then continued, choosing his words carefully. “My father told me this himself. Knox’s true body is massive. Not large or just massive.. An Island-sized. Real fucking islands. The kind you can’t see the edges of from the horizon.”
“They say when he feeds, he devours billions of sea creatures in a single bite. Mountains of flesh. Oceans of life.. And he’s been doing that as routine consumption for over four thousand years.”
“My father once said that if not for Knox, the population of sea creatures in the deep oceans would be far greater than it is now.”
Razeal listened calmly, but inside, He didn’t beleive a shit..
Island-sized? Billions in one bite?
It sounded pure shit.
Arthur continued, oblivious to Razeal’s skepticism. “Apparently, Knox used some unknown method.. or something to compress his body to shrink it into a humanoid form. Amd that’s what you’ll face.”
He looked directly at Razeal now, eyes serious. “You can’t comprehend his physical strength. Think about it what kind of power does a being need to chew through mountains of protein like it’s nothing?”
Arthur shook his head slowly. “Better not risk it. Truly. No one except my father can stop him if he goes all out.”
There it was. The warning. The line Arthur wanted Razeal to hear.
“If you make him your enemy by any chance.. Which will be high chanced thing to happen since you be fighting with him now..,” Arthur said quietly, “it won’t just be bad. It’ll be catastrophic. And I don’t need to explain what happens then. You already know whose side the royal family will choose.. No one gonna protect you to have risk of offending him.”
He straightened slightly, forcing a smile back onto his face. “So listen to me, bro. Don’t push this. You’re not getting that prize. That’s a hard no. Just… don’t.”
Behind those words lay calculation.
Arthur wasn’t only worried for Razeal. He was worried about image. About perception. About the eyes of all Atlantis watching this moment.
Razeal had already defeated him something no other participant had done. If they now blocked him too obviously, it would look biased. Worse, it would look dishonorable. And the royal family couldn’t afford that.
But they also couldn’t allow a human to take the highest prize.
So Arthur was trying to do the cleanest thing possible: scare Razeal away.
Let him withdraw willingly. Let the story end without scandal.
Razeal, however, didn’t see any of that.
He heard the words. He processed them. And then, slowly, he smiled.
“Island-sized,” Razeal repeated lightly. “Eats mountains. Shrinks himself.”
He shrugged. “Sounds like bullshit.”
Arthur stiffened. “I’m not lying.”
“I’m not saying you are,” Razeal replied. “Just saying… it doesn’t matter.. It’s just a fight bro.. In competetion to.. How bad can it be.. Lets see.. Go get me this second examiner..”
Arthur stared at him, incredulous. “Are you insane? I said don’t.”
Razeal tilted his head slightly, eyes steady. “And why should i listen to you?”
Arthur opened his mouth, then closed it As.. Started calm approach trying to teach him to right path. “Because this isn’t something you brute-force your way through! This isn’t about talent anymore. This is about survival.. You have long life in front of you.. Why Risking it.. what if you died?”
Razeal’s smile didn’t change. “We’ll see.”
Arthur ran a hand through his hair, irritation leaking through his forced friendliness. Why won’t this idiot listen?
“Aren’t I your friend now?” Arthur said, trying again. “For friendship’s sake, don’t do this.”
Razeal finally looked at him fully.
“I said,” Razeal replied evenly, the friendliness in his tone unchanged but sharpened at the edges, “get me the second examiner.”
Arthur’s jaw clenched.
“Start it already,” Razeal continued. “Or are you trying to force me not to participate?”
Arthur stared into Razeal’s eyes.. and for the first time, felt a faint chill… Weirdly enough.

“What are they even talking about…?” Neptunia stared down below with weird expressions.. Watching as Razeal and Arthur stood very closely there arms slung over each other’s shoulders, heads tilted in like old comrades sharing secrets.
“I don’t know,” Maria replied quietly, her arms folded tightly across her chest. Her fingers dug into her sleeves without her noticing, nails pressing harder the longer she watched. “But I don’t like it. I have a really bad feeling about this.”
Neptunia glanced at her, surprised. “You too?” She clicked her tongue, brows furrowing. “Same here. I don’t even know why, but suddenly I want to beat both of them up.” She paused, then muttered, “Especially my brother.”
Obviously neither of them could hear what was being said down there Since the distance was too great
—
“I am here, boy.”
Suddenly a heavy voice crashed.
As a thunderous boom ripped through the colosseum as the water itself seemed to recoil. The arena floor shook violently as the force of the impact sending ripples racing outward in all directions. Areana stone cracked. Sediment burst upward in thick clouds. Even the protective barriers humming around the arena vibrated under the pressure.
It seems as.. Something.. someone had dropped from high above straight down to areana..
Razeal instinctively shifted his footing as the shockwave rolled over him, water surging against his legs. His eyes snapped toward the center of the arena, narrowing as the dust and debris slowly parted.
“Come,” the voice continued, deep and weighty, carrying a lazy impatience. “Let’s start your examination. You seem… very impatient.”
As the floating rubble settled, the figure became visible.
Razeal stared.
The man.. if he could even be called that stood between ten and eleven feet tall, planted squarely in the center of the arena as if he belonged there by sheer right. His body was massive, wide in every direction, shoulders thick enough to block out what little light filtered down from above. He wasn’t sculpted or exaggeratedly muscular; instead, his build was dense, heavy, like compressed stone given flesh. Power packed so tightly it didn’t need to announce itself.
His arms were thick, veins faintly visible beneath skin that looked tough, almost leathery. His torso was broad, his neck nearly nonexistent, supporting a head that seemed absurdly large in proportion. His face was round but solid, jaw thick, cheekbones heavy. Big brown eyes sat calmly in their sockets, unblinking, unbothered. Short, thin brown hair clung to his scalp, unremarkable in every way.
At first glance, he almost looked… simple… Like except his body size.. He looks like ordinary person so much that if make him stand in crowd you never be able to tell he’s a powerhouse..
Razeal though didn’t move.. Not because of size because his focus was somewhere else..
Name: Knox
Race: Sea Creature (Megalodon)
Rank: SSS– (Supreme Peak)
Attributes:
Strength: SSS (Emperor)
Endurance: SSS (Emperor)
Agility: A–
Mana: 0
Will: S–
Mental: S+
Razeal’s mouth staring at this dude’s status window was agape..
“…What the fuck?”
For the first time since stepping into the arena, genuine shock slammed into him.
Two attributes at full Emperor level.
Not close of potential but
Actual. Emperor. Level.. Like… Literally?
His mind reeled as he stared at the stat window, reading it again just to be sure he wasn’t hallucinating.
Strength SSS.
Endurance SSS.
His lips twitched..
Are you serious?
This wasn’t just strong. This wasn’t even monstrous. This was something that had no business being here let alone acting as an examiner in a competition meant for participants who barely scraped the Saint ranks.
Difficulty of level just jumped thousand levels high..
What was even a super boss level monster doing here anyways? Taking exam of kids? Its crazy.. Like what is he suppose to do now?
