I Grind to Martial Saint

Chapter 439 - 328: Meeting at Last

Seeing Wei Chuan strike, Soul Chicken showed no fear, its face still twisted in an excited smile.

Wei Chuan realized something was wrong!

He felt that Soul Chicken had been unconsciously influencing his mind, making him impulsive, irritable, and prone to rage.

Under normal circumstances, he never would have attacked. He would have reported the information first and then decided on a course of action.

Yet after just a few words from Soul Chicken, a single thought had taken root in his mind: he had to kill Soul Chicken, or disaster would follow.

It was an irresistible urge that drove him to strike.

But now, Wei Chuan could not pull back his hand.

BANG!

His palm struck Soul Chicken squarely on the forehead.

Its head instantly exploded.

WHOOSH!

A bizarre black mist suddenly shot out and enveloped Wei Chuan’s face!

"AHHHHH!!!"

Wei Chuan’s face twisted into an expression of extreme agony.

He could feel his soul being rapidly devoured, and he was powerless to stop it!

"A physical body isn’t really that important to me."

Suddenly, Wei Chuan calmed down and muttered to himself.

But deep within his eyes, a bizarre, eerie green light now flickered.

"And now, it’s time for our performance."

Wei Chuan... or rather, Soul Chicken, as he should now be called, cracked his neck and headed for the dungeons on the first basement level.

A Divine Sea Expert was also guarding the first basement level.

Seeing the approaching figure, the man frowned. "What happened?"

"Soul Chicken has confessed... I must report to the Director immediately."

Soul Chicken said, his expression anxious.

For the past several days, Wei Chuan had been the one guarding Soul Chicken.

Because of this, Soul Chicken knew Wei Chuan’s tone of voice and mannerisms perfectly.

The Divine Sea Expert had no suspicions. He nodded. "Go on, then... I’ll watch things here for you."

"Alright!" Soul Chicken wasted no time, striding quickly toward the stairs.

Just as they brushed past each other, Soul Chicken suddenly struck, his palm lashing out at the Divine Sea Expert’s temple.

The man never imagined Wei Chuan would attack him. With his guard completely down, he took the full force of the blow to his temple.

Even the Innate True Qi that automatically rose to protect him was useless, shattered by the single strike.

BAM!!

The Divine Sea Expert’s body flew like a ragdoll, slamming violently against the hard iron wall and creating a massive crash.

"Wh... why..."

Blood streamed from the Divine Sea Expert’s orifices as he stared blankly at Soul Chicken.

"There is no why!"

WHOOSH!

Soul Chicken appeared directly in front of the Divine Sea Expert and struck again, ending his life.

"Quick, let me out!!!"

"Yeah, we’ll help you drench this Celestial Net Department in rivers of blood!"

This sudden turn of events sent the prisoners on the first basement level into a frenzy.

After all, the second basement level had held only a single prisoner: Soul Chicken.

But the first basement level held over a dozen of the most vicious criminals.

And among them was Du Honghao!

The former head of the Du Family was also imprisoned here.

"No problem."

Hearing their cries, Soul Chicken broke into a delighted smile.

He took the keys from the Divine Sea Expert’s body and first unlocked the iron cell holding Du Honghao.

Du Honghao, however, seemed to have expected all of this.

He hadn’t been bewitched by Soul Chicken; he was already willing to serve the Immortal Sect Organization.

He himself was one of the Immortal Sect’s Twelve High Priests: the Deceitful Bull!

He smiled. "I was starting to think you couldn’t handle that old fool Wei Chuan."

Soul Chicken scoffed, "That old fool? How could he ever be a match for me?"

Du Honghao nodded. "Then let’s begin..."

In the next instant, his body began to change dramatically.

Two curved horns sprouted from his head as his legs warped into hooves. His body rapidly expanded, swelling to a height of five or six meters, his skin turning tough and pitch-black. A terrifying, ghostly face materialized on his chest.

Seeing this, Soul Chicken quickly opened all the iron cells on the level, releasing the prisoners inside.

Although the Deceitful Bull’s current appearance was terrifying, the vicious prisoners seemed to fall under some kind of mental influence, becoming incredibly frenzied and crazed!

"Follow me and slaughter them all!"

The Deceitful Bull let out a wild roar and charged toward the ground level!

"KILL!!!"

The horde of vicious prisoners roared in response, charging after the Deceitful Bull!

The ground-floor area of the prison was guarded by more than a dozen Innate Grandmasters.

The moment the Deceitful Bull charged in, they reacted instantly, launching their attacks.

But to the Deceitful Bull, their attacks were nothing. He threw a punch, landing a heavy blow on one of the Innate Grandmasters.

The man instantly exploded like a smashed tomato, obliterated by the single punch.

In the next moment, five or six Weapons hacked wildly at the Deceitful Bull’s body but were deflected by his tough hide, leaving only faint white marks.

"All of you, just DIE!"

The Deceitful Bull roared, lifting a hoof and stomping it violently onto the ground!

BOOM!

An invisible shockwave erupted from him, sending most of the Innate Grandmasters flying.

"KILL!!!"

The prisoners following the Deceitful Bull, their eyes bloodshot, charged the scattered Innate Grandmasters.

To have been imprisoned on the first basement level meant that even the weakest among them had reached the Innate realm of Cultivation!

And that wasn’t even accounting for Soul Chicken, who was bringing up the rear, constantly emitting a form of mental pollution.

Before long, all the Innate Grandmasters who guarded the dungeon had become corpses.

Like a puppeteer, Soul Chicken could even command the corpses to rise.

Next, they released all the prisoners on that floor as well, and slaughtered their way out of the Celestial Net Department’s prison!

And by this time, the Celestial Net Department had finally realized what was happening.
