Seeing this, Fu Young raised an eyebrow and asked Little Baibei, "What happened to Master’s spiritual flame?"

"It’s Master! Master just gave Little Black an order. He told it to burn away all the evil in this world!"

Little Baibei seemed unsure of what to do as he continued, "Master probably wanted the other part of Little Black to burn away the evil in the world where he is. But Little Black is still muddle-headed, so it interpreted this as Master’s order to burn away all the evil in the Heaven Origin Realm as well. What should we do?"

"Burn away all the evil in this world? What’s wrong with that?"

After hearing Little Baibei, Fu Young looked at the blazing Terrestrial Fox Black Flame and said, "If the evil in the Heaven Origin Realm did not exist, Master would not have been ambushed, and Master and I would not have been separated. Moreover, before long, there will probably be a deadly battle concerning the survival of the Heaven Origin Realm."

"At that time, those beings carrying sins and evil thoughts might instead bring unfavorable variables to the battle that is about to come. Since that’s the case, wouldn’t it be better if they simply did not exist from the beginning? Besides, I believe that compared to the current world, Master would definitely prefer a cleaner one."

"So Young Master’s meaning is that we shouldn’t stop Little Black and should let it carry out the order Master gave it in the other world?"

After hearing Fu Young’s long explanation, Little Baibei increasingly felt that his words made sense. His childish yet serious little face showed a thoughtful expression. After thinking for a while, he said, "Then Little Baibei will continue following Little Black, just in case we encounter any more Demonic Puppets. Anyway, the entire Infernal Sky Continent has already been burned once. The Heavenly Demon Mountain Range is the last place." ℯℯ𝘭.

"Mm! Be careful. I think Master definitely wouldn’t want to see any of you suffer even the slightest injury after she returns."

Fu Young nodded. As he flew from the Frostheart Fleeting Battleship to the side, he reminded Little Baibei of this.

Little Baibei shook the body of the Frostheart Fleeting Battleship and shrank himself to his smallest size again before saying, "Young Master, don’t worry. Little Baibei’s defenses are very sturdy. As for Little Black... its flames are very special, and there are very few beings capable of harming it. Young Master, you should be careful instead. Little Baibei feels that the woman who came just now had ill intentions. You destroyed her blood talisman, so you may have provoked her. You also cannot afford to ignore what she said."

After saying this, the battleship shook slightly and instantly disappeared without a trace, leaving behind not even the slightest trace of its presence. It seemed even more impressive than the minor teleportation technique of a Spirit Transformation cultivator.

To think that even an artifact spirit had become worried about him. Had he really become this useless?

Or had he become weak because of some of the possibilities he had imagined?

But all he wanted was simply to be together with Master.

Whether he achieved immortality, attained the Dao, or became an immortal did not matter. As long as he could remain by Master’s side wherever she existed and accompany her forever, it did not matter whether he was a human, a cultivator, or an immortal.

If Master lived, he would live. If Master died, he would die. If he could move Master’s heart and make Master agree to let him accompany her under another identity, that would be even better.

It was such a simple wish.

However, after the awakening of His Divine Eye, the memories concerning his origins that he had seen while searching the Ao Family Patriarch’s soul, the inheritance mentioned by the Water Virtue Qilin, and the things he had seen in his dreams after absorbing the Supreme Star Lord fragments within the core of the Fate Devouring Array.

All of these things intertwined and led him to a possibility he deeply resisted.

He resisted that possibility. He resisted learning more, because the more he learned, the more likely it became that he would have to walk down that path.

That thought gave him an ominous feeling. He always felt that once he embarked on that path, he would lose the most important existence in his life.

Even though that path was filled with immense power, he continued to avoid it. He refused to think about it or pursue it.

Even Fu Young himself understood that this was nothing more than his own weak attempt to escape reality.

Yet somewhere beyond his perception, it seemed that a path had long since been arranged for him. Before he stepped onto that path, he would never be able to find true peace.

The Mao Family incident, the destruction of the Creation Dao, the Supreme Star Lord...

He resisted, avoided, and fought against it all.

Yet the things he least wanted to encounter kept coming to him one after another.

Especially the two items that had appeared at the auction in the Ten Thousand Wisdom Hall.

Was the Heavenly Dao personally placing them into his hands because it had seen him avoiding his fate?

And now, was it doing the same thing again because it saw him continuing to flee, personally creating this separation between him and Master and arranging for the great catastrophe to descend?

Was it forcing him to reclaim his power, knowing full well that he had no choice but to follow its plan because one event after another kept pushing him forward?

Fu Young raised his head and looked toward the sky. He let out a cold laugh and said, as if talking to himself yet also deliberately speaking for the Heavenly Dao to hear, "Since you’re so eager for me to reclaim the power of the Supreme Star Lord, then I’ll do as you wish... However, I hope you won’t regret it in the end. After all, my personality isn’t nearly as good as my Master’s."
