Chapter 354: Chapter 330: The Movie Scene Can Be Replicated

Lu Feng, of course, had no idea what Ah Pao and the others had been through. The next day, he summoned Baguda to make arrangements for Yang Lin.

The electronics factory needed a good location.

Still, opening a new factory would be beneficial to the Xuanfeng Alliance.

After hearing just how good the products made by Qingfeng Electronics were, Baguda was especially enthusiastic toward Yang Lin. "President Yang, I’ll arrange the best possible location for you to build the factory."

His horizons had broadened. He now understood that a company like this brought more than just jobs—it also served as a showcase for the outside world.

If Qingfeng Electronics Company did well and flourished, other similar companies might follow.

It was just like when Qingfeng Network Company opened a branch in the Xuanfeng Alliance. Now, many internet companies from Dragon Country had come, and a great number of them had set up shop in Wind Capital.

Lu Feng had just finished making arrangements for Qingfeng Electronics when his phone rang.

The call was from Kuikui Da, the head of the weapons department.

He had a good idea what it was about. He answered immediately, asking, "Are the weaponized drones ready?"

"Yes, Governor. I’d like to ask you to come and inspect them," Kuikui Da’s excited voice immediately replied.

Lu Feng agreed at once.

He had acquired many things from the game world, but in terms of mass-producible weapons, he only had the old-fashioned firearms from before.

These vintage firearms were superior to the modern guns used by various nations—they had greater power, longer range, a higher rate of fire, and better accuracy.

This drone technology was the second mass-producible weapon system he had acquired.

He immediately left Wind Manor and headed for the weapons department.

Kuikui Da was already waiting with his men. When Lu Feng arrived, they respectfully ushered him inside.

Soon, several brand-new drones appeared before Lu Feng.

Each drone was painted a special titanium-gray color. They had no conventional, exposed rotor blades. A modified weapons system was mounted beneath the central chassis.

They used special ammunition, not conventional bullets.

Conventional bullets took up too much space. Besides, the drone’s weapons system fired in a way that was different from a traditional gun, so it couldn’t use standard ammunition.

"His Excellency the Governor, they’re all armed. Shall we test them right away?" Kuikui Da asked.

"Yes," Lu Feng nodded.

"This way, His Excellency the Governor." Kuikui Da immediately led Lu Feng to a training field.

Many targets had been set up all over the field.

Many of them were even placed behind cover.

This was to simulate special battlefield conditions for a drone assault.

Kuikui Da said, his face flush with excitement, "His Excellency the Governor, this drone technology you’ve provided is incredible. We ran a preliminary test before calling you. These things are absolute killing machines."

As he spoke, he gave a hand signal. Operators, who had been standing by, came forward holding special remote controls and began to operate the drones.

Instantly, the drones shot into the air and began zipping around the area.

However, it seemed the operators weren’t yet proficient. The drones were so fast that they were having some trouble during operation.

The operators couldn’t handle them at full speed. After all, the weapons department had just found them on short notice. A specialized corps of professional operators would need to be trained in the future.

Even so, the drones were incredibly fast, far exceeding the speed of any ordinary drone.

In a close-quarters engagement or a surprise attack, even a full squad of soldiers would be unable to form a firing line to shoot them down.

Before they could even take aim, the drones would have already opened fire and strafed them.

The operators maneuvered the drones, which flew rapidly toward the targets. After finding a good position, they instantly opened fire.

...

Following the fierce reports of gunfire, torrents of bullets rained down on the targets. Regardless of whether they were behind cover, every single target was hit and knocked over.

Lu Feng walked over for a closer look and saw that nearly every bullet had hit its mark. For modern technology, this was incredibly impressive.

But then, Xiaozhi’s voice sounded in Lu Feng’s ear. "Master, their piloting doesn’t even begin to unlock the drones’ full potential. Watch me."

Almost at the same instant, the operators’ faces changed.

"Mr. Kuikui Da, something’s wrong! My remote isn’t working!"

"I’ve lost control of my drone, too!"

"..."

The operators were clearly stunned. Their remote controls were useless, but the drones were still hovering in mid-air.

Kuikui Da was terrified. If there was an accident and the Governor was harmed, he’d be facing dire consequences.

Seeing the drones flying toward them, he was so frightened he was about to tackle Lu Feng to protect the Governor.

Who would have thought that before he could even touch Lu Feng, he slammed into some kind of barrier and was thrown to the ground, nearly knocking him unconscious.

When he looked up at Lu Feng again, he saw the drones hovering motionlessly around the Governor.

The scene was truly... bizarre!

Lu Feng looked at the drones surrounding him and was reminded of the Marvel movie *Spider-Man: Far From Home*.

After Iron Man’s death, he left a fleet of drones for the young Spider-Man. Controlled by the AI Iron Man had created, that fleet was absolutely terrifying.

’It’s just a shame Spider-Man was too naive and squandered such a powerful weapon.’

’Looking at this now, with Xiaozhi controlling the drones... if I had enough of them, could I recreate the drone fleet from the movie?’

While he was lost in thought, Xiaozhi sent the drones into the air again. This time, there were no targets. The drones aimed directly at the walls of the cover structures and opened fire.

RAT-A-TAT-TAT!

RAT-A-TAT-TAT!

...

Kuikui Da and his men watched nervously as the drones spat fire. A moment later, their eyes widened in utter disbelief.

On the wall of the barrier, a series of bullet holes appeared, forming a perfect heart shape.

"This..." Kuikui Da was dumbfounded.

Only terrifyingly precise shooting could accomplish such a feat.

The drones then flew back, landed on a table, and arranged themselves in a neat row.

Seeing this, Kuikui Da subconsciously realized something. Someone else had taken control of the drones. It had to be the God of Hackers.

But this level of control was simply terrifying.

Watching Xiaozhi’s performance, Lu Feng grew even more certain he could replicate the scene from the movie.

He then immediately gave his order. "Kuikui Da, produce as many of these weaponized drones as you can. We may have use for them very soon."

"Yes, His Excellency the Governor!" Kuikui Da replied respectfully at once.

After witnessing the power of the weaponized drones, Lu Feng left the weapons department. He had just returned to Wind Manor when he saw Red Lizard approaching.

"What’s the situation with Boya?" Lu Feng asked the moment he saw Red Lizard.

He had dispatched Red Lizard’s people to Boya to provoke them into attacking the Xuanfeng Alliance. Only if Boya did something so foolish would he have the opportunity to occupy their territory.

If they didn’t take the bait, he would be out of options.

In this day and age, whoever strikes first is in the wrong. Without a proper justification, making a move is out of the question. Otherwise, some other country would inevitably jump in and start running its mouth.

After all, the reason the conflict between the two bears on the other side of the world hasn’t ended is because of certain bastards meddling in the middle.

If Boya didn’t do something stupid and the Xuanfeng Alliance struck first, those same bastards would surely crawl out of the woodwork and start complaining.

’I can’t give those bastards the chance. Therefore, Boya has to be the one to make the mistake.’

But upon seeing Lu Feng, Red Lizard’s face was full of excitement. "His Excellency the Governor, after our people got there, they discovered that Boya is already massing its troops! It looks like they’re preparing to attack the Xuanfeng Alliance. We might not even need to provoke them at all."

"What? Is that for real?" Lu Feng didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

’Boya has some nerve. If I’d known this would happen, why bother sending anyone? I could’ve just sat at home and waited for them to show up.’

Red Lizard immediately replied, "It’s absolutely true. Our people have confirmed it several times. They’re still mobilizing and preparing. They could attack us at any moment."

Hearing this, Lu Feng immediately instructed Red Lizard, "Go notify Dali. Tell him to be ready at all times and wait for Boya’s forces. And this time, we’re going to put on a big show. We need to make sure we have comprehensive evidence that they were the ones to strike first, violating international treaties."

"Then, we’ll just be retaliating in righteous anger. If we ’accidentally’ wipe them out in our fury... well, once they’re gone, there’s nothing anyone else can do about it after the fact."
