The moment he returned, explosive music blasted into his ears. Whether it was the instrumentation or the vocals, Zou Feng had personally taught them. Naturally, he knew the Xuanwu Poison Domain was still active.

He thought, "It’s been quite a while. Haven’t they finished off the other Tribulation Cultivators here yet?"

When Zou Feng left earlier, aside from Meng Po of the Underworld dragging Zhu Caiwei into the Small Thousand World, the rest of the Tribulation Cultivators had essentially been dealt with.

He thought, "Could Zhu Caiwei have suffered a crushing defeat against Meng Po?"

Seeing Zou Feng regain consciousness, Zhao Feixiong immediately said, "Another wave came. Tsk, there’s even a Nascent Soul Old Monster!"

Even without Zhao Feixiong’s warning, Zou Feng could clearly see the distant battlefield. Zhu Caiwei hadn’t been killed; drawing on the power of the Xuanwu Poison Domain, she was still holding her own against Meng Po. However, enemy reinforcements had obviously arrived in greater numbers than before. Leading them was none other than a Nascent Soul Realm Tribulation Cultivator from the Ninefold Celestial Court.

This Nascent Soul Old Monster of the Celestial Court looked just like an elegant and dashing young Scholar. He wielded a folding fan, waving it back and forth, causing immense trouble for the Pinnacle Celestial Immortal Sect. The omnipresent poisonous gas of the Xuanwu Poison Domain was nearly blown apart by the man’s fan, making it almost impossible to maintain.

Because of his presence, the previously unstoppable Xuanwu poisons saw a massive drop in potency. The musical performance of the five Dao Companions gradually weakened. Even Lu Wu’s singing showed obvious signs of unstable breathing and off-key notes. Judging by the situation, if they had come out any later, it would have been a complete tragedy.

Seemingly eager to vent his frustration over missing out on a taste of a Fairy, Chen Zifan immediately prepared to join the fray. "The five of us are True Inheritors! There’s no reason we should fear a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator from these unorthodox paths!"

Under normal circumstances, even five True Disciples of an Immortal Sect wouldn’t dare provoke a Nascent Soul Old Monster. The only reason Chen Zifan had the confidence to say this was because he had just witnessed Zou Feng’s prowess. Not to mention, Zou Feng was universally acknowledged as the Immortal Sect’s future Direct Disciple, and he had recently devoured the enemy camp’s sizzling fortune. With an existence that defied all common sense on their side, they truly didn’t need to fear an ordinary Nascent Soul Old Monster.

Through his observations, Zou Feng now had a solid grasp of the situation. The Nascent Soul Old Monster dressed as a Scholar was inferior to King Yan, whom Zou Feng had previously schemed against and killed. As for Meng Po, Zhu Caiwei was barely managing to hold her off, so she wasn’t a huge problem either.

Thus, he could indeed test out his current level of strength—especially after devouring Gongyang Wuji’s fortune and being invigorated by the Queen Mother’s booming, barbell-like laughter.

"Everyone, just dance with me in a moment!" With that, Zou Feng took the lead and dashed toward the Holy Lotus. Of course, he didn’t forget to quickly roll out some Antitoxic Pills and toss them to the others. As for their fellow disciples in the Poison Domain, using the Golden Lotus to apply Purification to them would prevent any serious harm.

Aside from Zhao Feixiong, no one else present understood what Zou Feng meant by his words.

Zhao Feixiong kept them in suspense, laughing as he said, "He isn’t joking. There’s no need to rush into fighting the Tribulation Cultivators to the death. Just dance a track first, and you’ll naturally get a pleasant surprise..."

At this moment, the Xuanwu Poison Domain wasn’t displaying its proper power. Aside from the Scholar’s interference, the most crucial reason was the absence of its soul—Zou Feng. He was the lead dancer of the Xuanwu Poison Domain, the one with the strongest Dancing Skill. It could be said that without Zou Feng, the Xuanwu Poison Domain was at best a second-rate Domain. A soulless Xuanwu Poison Domain had managed to hold on until now entirely because Zhu Caiwei was, after all, a Nascent Soul Great Demon who sustained the Domain’s foundation.

Before he even reached the Holy Lotus, Zou Feng had already begun Shaking Flower Hands. Golden Lotuses bloomed continuously, instantly injecting a "soul" into the Xuanwu Poison Domain. Appearing while performing Flower Hands, he immediately became the center of attention. It was as if numerous invisible spotlights were shining directly on him.

Most of the Tribulation Cultivators froze in unison. The Scholar and Meng Po both revealed looks of astonishment, their expressions quickly growing solemn. Meanwhile, the women on the Holy Lotus were overjoyed. Finding their second wind, they began playing their instruments with even more vigor. Lu Wu was especially fired up; her previously listless voice suddenly transformed as she unleashed her true vocal prowess.

They bounced back solely because Zou Feng’s appearance brought an extremely potent toxic enhancement. This toxicity was lethal to the enemy, but for their allies, it served to get everyone thoroughly pumped up. Furthermore, art required a connoisseur. Without a connoisseur like Zou Feng, the Dao Companions’ music naturally felt listless, as no one else could truly appreciate it. The same applied to Lu Wu’s singing.

One could never underestimate this metaphysical enhancement. When art was elevated, it too became a Dao, and its power was absolutely not to be slighted.

Soon, Zou Feng, the lead dancer, arrived at the battlefield while Shaking Flower Hands and took his place at the bow of the Holy Lotus. Zhao Feixiong followed suit and took his position. His Talent in the Dance Dao was absurdly high; he had already surpassed Su Qingyu to become the Vice Lead Dancer.

Empowered by all these elements, the coverage of the Xuanwu Poison Domain expanded several times over, enveloping nearly all friend and foe present.

Zou Feng took a deep breath, entering an incredibly profound state. Following the explosion of his fortune, his comprehension of the art of dance had also experienced a qualitative leap. In this moment, he felt that even if he abandoned the Poison Dao, he could achieve Entering the Dao through dance alone.

Zou Feng made a hand gesture, signaling Lu Wu to switch to a cheesy yet energetic club anthem. The instrumental accompaniment shifted accordingly. Zou Feng executed devilish steps with his feet. His Flower Hands blurred into afterimages, making it look as though he had sprouted three heads and six arms.

Not to be outdone, Zhao Feixiong began spinning in place, executing a variety of high-difficulty dance moves. Su Qingyu assumed a handstand position, allowing her Shaking Flower Legs to be utilized to their fullest potential.

Faced with this spectacle, let alone Tribulation Cultivators like the Scholar and Meng Po, even Jiang Wanzhao, Chen Zifan, and the others felt as if they had plunged into a dream. It wasn’t that they were inexperienced; the scene before them was simply far too absurd. They were supposed to be locked in a tragic, life-and-death struggle with the Tribulation Cultivators. Who could have expected that, mid-fight, both sides would suddenly seem to shake hands and make peace, all starting to dance instead?

Indeed, after a brief moment of shock, both the Tribulation Cultivators and the disciples of the Pinnacle Celestial Immortal Sect lost control, swaying their bodies to the rhythm. Cultivators who were in the middle of casting spells had their incantations abruptly interrupted. Hands that were meant to form Dharma Seals ended up Shaking Flower Hands instead.

The infectious nature of this debut art form was terrifyingly potent. At first, only the lower-Realm Cultivators danced along. Gradually, even those in higher Realms couldn’t hold out. Though the Scholar and Meng Po hadn’t started dancing yet, they were forced to dedicate their focus to suppressing the urge to dance, rendering them unable to attack with full force as they had before.

The once utterly brutal battlefield of Magical Combat was thus transformed into a giant rave for Cultivators.

However, the effects of this dance party were vastly different for the two sides. Thanks to Zou Feng’s Antitoxic Pills and the Purification effect from the massive number of Golden Lotuses, the allied Cultivators merely felt euphoric and refreshed. They felt as if their lives had reached the pinnacle of joy.

But it was a starkly different story for the Tribulation Cultivators. They danced in agonizing pain, their Spiritual Qi rapidly depleting. Some of the lower-Realm Tribulation Cultivators even dislocated their arms from shaking them too hard, yet they simply couldn’t stop!

Before long, both the Scholar and Meng Po realized the situation was dire. If things continued like this, none of them would be able to escape.

The Scholar frantically waved his folding fan, whipping up a series of terrifyingly powerful tornadoes. He then merged into the wind, quickly vanishing without a trace.

Meng Po wanted to flee as well, but she was pinned down by Zhu Caiwei, making it impossible for her to escape as smoothly as the Scholar had. In this moment of crisis, a frantic Meng Po mustered her last bit of strength and finally managed to temporarily force Zhu Caiwei back. She quickly turned to run, only to find that as her feet moved, it didn’t look like she was fleeing. Instead, it looked more like she was... dancing!
