"Help her? How?" Sol, who was still being dragged away by his father, asked.

Jason sighed. ’How did I end up with these two battle freaks? They only know how to fight. One wants to claim what she likes but doesn’t even know how. Another wants to help his sister but doesn’t even know that for emotions to grow, time should be spent together. Problems should be faced together.’ Jason mused while walking forward.

"Father, let me go with sis. What if she is in danger?"

Jason finally stopped and looked at Sol. "I thought you two knew that boy better than me."

Sol freed himself from Jason hurriedly. "Of course we do."

"Really? Then tell me. Do you think with him around, if there is a problem he can’t protect your sister, you can?"

"That..." Sol opened his mouth to speak, but after uttering just one word, he was at a loss for words. Because he knew it, too. He was a B-Class hunter, while Leon was a Disaster Class hunter. Even Sylus Moure couldn’t stand before him. But after a while, Sol spoke again. "But Father. Big bro is just one person. What if there are stronger monsters? Or what if there are simply too many for him to handle alone? I may not be as capable as big bro. But during a crisis, every bit of help matters."

"Don’t worry. They will be alright." Jason said as he looked back once. He looked at Leon’s figure, who was still trying to convince Snow and Emily. ’I don’t know how much, but he is holding back a lot. And it doesn’t matter if it’s a cultivator or a mage, I don’t think anyone can be his match. Emily... I can only create opportunities for you. But the steering of your life, only you can control it.’

Meanwhile, Leon looked at Emily and Snow helplessly. "You two. Are you really sure you don’t want to go back? I will really be okay if I go alone, but if you two come along, I don’t think I will be able to focus on what I am going there for."

"You just do what you have to do. You didn’t forget who I am, did you?" Emily spoke, her S-Class level aura bursting outward. Maybe she wasn’t as strong as Leon, but she was still an S-Class hunter and a strong one at that.

"Don’t even think about trying to convince me. You can focus or not, that’s totally on you, but I am coming for sure."

Leon sighed. "Alright."

"Which dungeon do you want to enter?"

"You tell me. I am new here."

"What type of monsters do you want to fight? Weaker ones? Mid-level ones? Mode...."

Before Emily could finish, Leon answered. "The strongest ones. The stronger, the better. The more the number of monsters, the better."

Emily thought for a while before replying. "There are permanent gates and normal gates, which can appear anywhere at any time. We can go for the permanent ones. Because all the permanent gates are filled with stronger monsters. Among the permanent ones, the Daselvia tower is a prominent one. And among the rest, two permanent gates are famous. One is called the death zone. The second one is known as Lizard’s den. Both are ranked as S-Class dungeons."

"Oh?" Leon’s left eyebrow raised with interest. "Can you be a bit more specific? I mean, what type of monsters are there? What abilities do they have? Why are they so famous?"

"The death zone can be described as a hidden realm. The gate takes us to a completely different world that is filled with dragons. Only a few people have ever returned from that dungeon. And once a gate outbreak happened in the past, three cities were totally destroyed."

"Dragons?" Leon’s eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Yes. Dragons." Emily frowned slightly. She couldn’t understand why Leon was getting so excited.

"What type of magic do they use?" Leon continued to ask questions.

"Fire magic. Ice magic. There were a few who were good with air magic."

"No lightning magic?" Leon asked. ’Lightning is a powerful affinity. If I can achieve lightning immunity and thereby awaken the lightning affinity, it will boost my strength greatly.’ He thought inwardly.

Emily thought for a while before answering. "No. I haven’t heard about a dragon that used lightning affinity till now. Why?"

The sparkle in Leon’s eyes dimmed a little, and it didn’t go unnoticed by Emily.

"Nothing. What about the Lizard’s den? What affinity do they use?"

"The lizard men are capable of using two types of affinities," Snow replied this time. She had been getting impatient since Emily started explaining. "Poison and ice. It’s common knowledge to all."

Leon looked at her. "Then let’s raid the Lizard’s den first. Then we can go to the death zone."

Emily nodded. "Alright. Let’s go."

Emily started guiding them toward the Lizard’s den. They all took a cab because Jason had left with the jet and Emily’s car wasn’t here either.

Meanwhile, somewhere else in Daselvia...

An elderly man lay unconscious on a bed. His chest was slowly rising and falling. His bulging muscles hugged the sleeves tightly. But his face was devoid of any color. If not for the slow rise and fall of his chest, anyone would mistake him for a corpse.

But there were some black marks across his chest. If observed closely, all would find that those marks had spread across his whole body. Only the face was shown mercy. Those black marks were as if something corrupt was passing through the blood vessels instead of blood.

Two people sat beside the elderly man. One looked to be in his mid-fifties. The other one was a female who was in her late forties.

"What should we do?" The male person asked.

"Do we have more than one option? If we don’t accept their marriage proposal, it won’t be long before our whole family is doomed. Their offer is generous. This is the only way, Boman."
