I Can Fix My Talent in Hundred Lives
Chapter 850 - 586: An Era of Great Strife! (Part 2)
The figure turned into a stream of light that tore through the sky, daringly charging toward Immortal King Zhangpeng.
"Strange?"
"What power is this? It’s actually so ancient?"
Immortal King Zhangpeng’s pupils suddenly contracted, a bit surprised.
His wings spread again, the tips surrounded by sharp spatial shearing forces, spreading outward.
The entire battlefield was instantly cut into countless fragmented space shards.
With the aid of the domain power, Sea-covering Saint wielded a long spear, shadows spinning, each strike shattering the time-space fragments around him, forcefully carving a bloody path in the broken space-time.
"Hahahaha!"
Sea-covering Saint laughed wildly at the sky, his laughter bold and echoing across the heavens.
His wrist suddenly flipped, the divine spear swept across the sky, wherever the spear point passed, all laws were annihilated, voids shattered, slicing through endless time-space, directly piercing Immortal King Zhangpeng.
Immortal King Zhangpeng was instantly enraged, his entire body surged with the violent pressure of an Immortal King.
A mere Immortal Monarch, even if possessing secret techniques with surging battle power, dared to be so unbridledly arrogant in front of him, the dignified Immortal King; it was simply courting death!
"Damn you, I shall smash you to pieces!"
He clenched his fists tightly, the golden light around him surged up, almost dyeing the entire sky golden.
"Fuyuo Dingzhou Fist!"
With an angry shout, he punched out, the fist intent wrapped with the violent power of space-time, instantly locking onto Sea-covering Saint, regardless of how he traversed, he couldn’t escape this lock.
Where the fist wind passed, space continuously shattered, forming countless pitch-black rifts, within the rifts, chaotic space-time currents surged violently with destructive force.
Sea-covering Saint’s eyes narrowed, no longer dodging, he raised his spear to block.
"Bang——!!!"
The spear and fist collided, a terrifying power instantly erupted, forming a gigantic energy shockwave that swept across the North Sea.
Sea-covering Saint’s whole body shook violently, his arm went numb, the long spear almost left his hand, his form was once again thrown away, a large mouthful of dragon blood spewed from his mouth.
Immortal King Zhangpeng, not willing to let go after gaining the advantage, consecutively punched forward, the shadow of fists filled the sky, each punch carrying the might of tearing space-time, densely packed, giving Sea-covering Saint no chance to breathe.
Sea-covering Saint gradually exhausted, the clear light around him dimming further, wounds on his body increased, dragon blood dyed his whole body red, and his aura grew weaker.
Yet in his eyes, still burned the unyielding flame.
He gathered the last of his strength, his form flashed, dodging Immortal King Zhangpeng’s punch, the long spear in his hand, with an air of mutual destruction, stabbed directly at Immortal King Zhangpeng.
Immortal King Zhangpeng sneered, easily dodging this deadly strike.
At the same time, his fist, carrying world-annihilating force, smashed heavily into Sea-covering Saint’s chest.
"Boom!"
With a muffled sound, Sea-covering Saint’s body, under this punch, exploded into countless spirit lights, dissipating into the void.
Only a single black dragon beard, carrying a faint spirit light, slowly floated down, landing at the edge of the gravitational pit.
"Hmm?"
Immortal King Zhangpeng frowned, his gaze fixed on that dragon beard, his face full of fury.
To think he was battling against just one dragon beard of that damn creature.
"A dragon beard! Just a dragon beard!"
"Damn you! How dare you toy with me!"
Immortal King Zhangpeng, beside himself with rage, his form suddenly expanded, manifesting the true form of the Golden-Winged Roc.
The gilded wings spread wide, covering the sky, golden radiance with boundless brilliance, overshadowing the entire North Sea.
He opened his mouth to inhale, a vast and unmatched suction erupted instantly.
In the North Sea, billions of creatures, countless dragon offspring, were forcibly drawn by this suction.
They struggled desperately, roaring, wailing, but to no avail, their forms uncontrollably flying toward Immortal King Zhangpeng’s mouth.
Immortal King Zhangpeng, madly venting his frustration, devoured the dragon race creatures in great gulps, dragon roars, wails, and surging waves resounded across the entire North Sea Immortal Domain, incomparably tragic.
...
Above the void, clouds roiled, the glow of dawn concealed, a figure in a purple robe stood quietly.
The hem of his clothes fluttered lightly, the purple robe embroidered with sun, moon, and star patterns, flowing with a faint emperor’s might, the surrounding void mildly distorted, as if he had merged with this realm.
Below, the Hidden Roc Immortal King reveals his true form, his wings covering the sky and earth, his roar swallowing the Dragon Race echoing throughout the Four Seas, and his violent immortal power sweeping the heavens and earth.
But this Purple Robe Emperor remains indifferent.
His figure is concealed within the Void Rift, his aura restrained to the utmost, as if he never existed.
His brows slightly furrowed, a trace of contemplation flashes across his brow, he raises his hand lightly gripping, and an ancient Copper Mirror appears in his palm.
The Copper Mirror is entirely white and engraved with ancient cloud patterns, its surface faintly glows with Spirit Light; it is the Taihao Mirror—an ancient emperor artifact capable of revealing illusions and locking onto all sources.
The Purple Robe Emperor lightly brushes the mirror’s body with his fingertips, and the Spirit Light of the Copper Mirror flickers yet never manages to fix on any void; he slowly shakes his head, his tone carrying some solemnity, along with a hint of helplessness.
"The Supreme Dao...another alien cultivation system."
"In possession of the Taihao Mirror, I still cannot lock on the location of that alien realm; truly troublesome."
He gazes at the scattered Spirit Light within the Copper Mirror, a flicker of astonishment deep in his eyes.
This Supreme Dao system is mysterious and unpredictable, leaving no traces to follow, with no pattern to rely on, yet it bears a flavor transcending heaven and earth.
"This system is indeed profound; that Supreme Daoist seems to be another alien Immortal Emperor."
At this thought, his fingertips slightly pause, and the Spirit Light of the Copper Mirror dims further.
"First the Blood Sun Immortal Emperor of the Stellar Ancient God Realm nearly shattered the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths, now emerges another unknown alien Immortal Emperor."
He sighs lightly, eyes reflecting endless vicissitudes.
"Surely, it’s an era of great contention, merging Dao and transcending, myriad ways competing."
"With prodigies all around, the mother sea across all realms, unexpectedly revealing so many strong figures in succession; it seems the world’s structure is once again changing."
Numerous thoughts swiftly flash through his mind—caution, pondering, and sentiment.
He shakes his head again, the Spirit Light of the Taihao Mirror in his hand retracts slowly, gradually disappearing into his palm.
With a slight move, his form without any ripple, like a drop of water merging into the sea, quietly vanishing into the void, completely disappearing without a trace.
Throughout, the Hidden Roc Immortal King below, raging and slaughtering dragons, never detects a hint of his presence.
...
Western Wilderness.
Stretching mountain ranges lie, peaks overlapping, with celestial energy swirling around, yet a secretive mountain core hides deep within.
In the heart of the mountains, clouds and mist linger, an ancient palace quietly stands, without doors or windows, seemingly integrated into the mountain body, exuding a sense of seclusion from the world.
Inside the palace, light is soft, ancient dragon patterns are inscribed on the walls, ebbing with faint Dao Rhyme.
Several dark pillars rise from the ground, supporting the entire palace, on one pillar, a Flood Dragon coils around it.
The Flood Dragon is entirely dark, its scales having lost their former luster, turning dull and lifeless, its dragon whiskers drooping, eyes half-closed, its aura so weak as if it might dissipate at any moment.
Suddenly, the Flood Dragon trembles all over, letting out a low and painful groan, the sound hoarse, filled with endless weakness.
"It hurts so much!"
As the words drop, Spirit Light flashes around the Flood Dragon, its form suddenly contracts, transforming into the Sea-covering Saint.
His complexion is pale as paper, dragon blood still lingers at the corners of his mouth, his clothes are shattered, and dense wounds cover his body, where Spirit Light dissipates, difficult to heal.
His energy, spirit, and vitality have plunged to the lowest point, even standing is unstable, so he holds onto the pillar, gasping heavily, eyes filled with exhaustion.
In the Hidden Roc Immortal King’s eyes, he is using his dragon whiskers to tease the opponent, but in reality, he has already exhausted his entire strength!
[Sequence Three—Manifestation of True God]
Manifesting from afar, dwelling in the minutia, is inherently within his command.
The relation with the entrusted matter is insignificant, the strength lies entirely in his control and mastery of the command.
The great battle at the North Sea on that day seemed like merely a single falling black dragon whisker, seemingly insignificant, yet it held ninety-nine percent of his command.
The avatar’s fall brought him unprecedented trauma!
The Sea-covering Saint slowly closes his eyes:
"This time, it might take hundreds of years to recover."
"So be it, thankfully I was cautious!"
Alone, secretly transmitting Dao, appearing flamboyant, in reality extremely cautious, always operating in avatar, all to leave a contingency, just in case.
And this North Sea battle is the best example.
If not for his persistent cautiousness, under the Hidden Roc Immortal King’s punch, he would have already completely fallen in the North Sea, never to rise again.
