Chapter 420: Chapter 266: Things You’ll Regret Not Doing in College
The Seven Greats were the New Era’s foremost coercive organizations.
They commanded the world’s greatest martial power and naturally had their own exclusive pocket dimensions.
Yu Fei had suspected this before. ’After all, the Celestial Yang Sect, one of the top three from the Old Era, had a place called the Red Sun Realm. Even the Bright Jade Alliance, a bunch of slacker Martial Saints, managed to control the Golden Stone Gang Realm just by selling resources.’
’So what about Shenhan?’ According to Ye Shuping, Shenhan completely controlled three resource realms, and the one Yu Fei was going to was called the Primordial Sea and Sky Realm.
But Ye Shuping wasn’t taking him personally. Instead, his senior brother, Tang Lihui, was taking Yu Fei to visit Ye Shuping.
To the outside world, Yu Fei was still officially Tang Lihui’s student.
’My cultivation level is still too low, so I have limited information. For now, Ye Shuping has only revealed that a potential future enemy is the old master’s fourth disciple—my fourth senior brother.’
’To be honest, I don’t really get it.’
’We’re all Martial Saints, isn’t there anything we can’t just discuss openly? And as Ye Shuping’s youngest student, my identity can’t even be revealed.’
’My lessons have to be conducted by Ye Shuping at Tang Lihui’s Gui Zhen Dojo, making the whole thing feel like some kind of clandestine affair.’
’But since the old master is being so cautious, I’ll have to trust the judgment of a veteran Martial Saint like Ye Shuping. I’ll just have to be patient for now. Once I reach the peak, I’ll figure out what’s going on with this fourth senior brother myself.’
Under Tang Lihui’s guidance, Yu Fei headed for the Primordial Sea and Sky Realm.
The entrance to this realm was located deep within the Shenhan campus. The Cross-Border Black Fog was relatively small, only about a hundred meters long.
The area was guarded by numerous people whose cultivation levels were clearly not low. He couldn’t detect any of them with his perception-based Secret Technique; only the jewel-like presences he observed through his Reversing Destiny Vision confirmed they were there.
A familiar sensation washed over him as his five senses were stripped away. Moments later, the world before Yu Fei’s eyes had completely changed.
"Fuck..."
As his five senses returned, Yu Fei was shocked to realize he had stepped into empty air. He was high above the ground and plummeting downward.
Flight was an ability only Grandmaster-level Martial Artists possessed. He had only just broken through to the Five Realms Divine Intent. Although his Inner Qi was exceptionally potent and could defy the laws of physics to some degree, the most it could do was allow him to twist his body in mid-air.
If he were to fall straight down from such a height, he’d surely die... ’Or maybe not.’ Yu Fei’s Iron Body training was at a masterful level. As long as he didn’t land directly on hard rock, he had a high chance of surviving.
Looking down, he saw that below him was a vast expanse of sea.
’Thank goodness...’
Just as he was wondering why he’d appeared so high in the sky, Tang Lihui grabbed him and yanked him up.
"Surprised, little guy? Wasn’t expecting that, were you?"
"Uh... what?"
He looked up and saw that the Cross-Border Black Fog was suspended high in the air. ’This is so weird!’
"This is what makes the Primordial Sea and Sky Realm unique. Take another look."
He pointed into the distance, and Yu Fei saw a multitude of floating islands of varying sizes.
The Floating Islands were at different altitudes, drifting slowly. Each moved in its own direction and at its own speed. It was a breathtakingly rare spectacle, like a fairy tale brought to life.
Tang Lihui chuckled. "Amazing, isn’t it? This realm has no otherworldly races, just some harmless exotic beasts. Let’s go. I’ll take you to see our master. Over time, you’ll come to understand the strangeness of the Primordial Sea and Sky Realm."
With that, he grabbed Yu Fei and shot off into the distance, becoming a blur.
As they traveled, Yu Fei silently took in his surroundings. The primordial energy here was extremely dense—he estimated it was at least level 15. The scenery was magnificent. He could see crops planted on many of the Floating Islands they passed, almost none of which he recognized.
Tang Lihui flew with him for half a day, covering at least ten thousand kilometers.
Whenever they passed directly over a Floating Island, Yu Fei would drop a Fog Pine Stone to act as a beacon. Tang Lihui noticed but didn’t say anything.
’This junior brother of mine is a strange one,’ Tang Lihui thought. ’The master protects him with extreme secrecy. Unless it’s absolutely necessary, I’m simply told to cooperate without any explanation, just like this time.’
In Tang Lihui’s eyes, their master was someone worthy of the highest respect, but no one could ever guess his intentions. Once the master made a decision, nothing could change it.
Finally, a medium-sized Floating Island appeared ahead. It was shrouded in a dense mist, its features hazy and indistinct.
On the island was a lake, from which a small stream flowed toward the edge. The water cascaded over the side like a waterfall before being atomized by fierce gales, dissipating into the air as vapor.
"We’re here. The master lives on this island. This is his dojo in the Primordial Sea and Sky Realm, the Profound Bright Palace."
Tang Lihui flew Yu Fei directly to the front of the main palace. When they were still about a hundred feet from the ground, Yu Fei wriggled free from his senior brother’s iron grip and leaped down the rest of the way.
He then twisted his torso and hitched up his belt.
’I have to admit,’ Yu Fei thought, ’while my senior brother Tang Lihui has studied many scholarly arts—scattering runes with incredible flair whenever he makes a move—at heart, he’s still a brute. The way he flies people around... my senior brother just grabbed me by the belt and dragged me ten thousand kilometers through the sky. Because of the awkward grip, I couldn’t adjust my posture the entire time.’
’Even with my mastered Iron Body, it was incredibly uncomfortable.’
Just then, Tang Lihui landed. He stood firm, performed a cupped-fist salute, and said in a humble tone, "Master, I wish you peace. Your student, Tang Lihui, has brought Yu Fei to request an audience!"
Yu Fei, who had been about to charge right in, quickly retracted his foot and respectfully copied his senior brother’s salute.
’Mr. Tang said he *brought* me to see the master,’ Yu Fei mused. ’That’s not an exaggeration at all. He literally carried me here by the scruff.’
"Come in."
