Even though Julian Sterling had his suspicions, he still couldn’t believe it.

Ryan Sterling gently stroked her back and said softly, "It’s okay. Nothing happened. I brought you back."

Evelyn Grant looked up, but she was at a loss for words.

"I’ve been right here with you."

"The baby..."

"The baby’s fine, too. Everything’s fine." Seeing her like this, his heart ached, and his eyes grew as dark as ink.

After hearing these words, Evelyn Grant could finally let out a sigh of relief, and her whole body went limp again.

Ryan Sterling was afraid she would faint again, so he quickly called her name.

Once he saw that Evelyn’s condition had stabilized somewhat, he got up to bring the doctor in.

Right before they entered, he gave a specific instruction, "Don’t speak loudly, and don’t ask her any questions."

Only after the doctors nodded in understanding did Ryan Sterling open the door.

The examination didn’t go smoothly. As if traumatized, Evelyn Grant wouldn’t let anyone touch her.
