Ryan Sterling switched to calling her instead.

Ryan Sterling blurted out, "But you hurt her!"

"For someone your age, you’re so naive! Ryan, you’re a businessman too. Don’t you understand the principle that the more you invest, the harder it is to let go?"

When you’ve poured too much of yourself into a project, giving up becomes harder and harder.
