Chapter 1130: Chapter 1129: Open and Unrestrained

Generally when people say someone has a story, it’s a compliment, but when Beisitian puts it that way, you can’t help but want to laugh; You Mingxiang’s two companions struggled to hold back their laughter while simultaneously checking You Mingxiang’s expression.

You Mingxiang’s face was gloomy, she looked at Beisitian with cold arrogance, saying nothing.

The two people knew what kind of character You Mingxiang had: cold, aloof, and self-important. That head of the Qingyu rebutted her like this, she probably couldn’t say anything in return, and this frustration would likely linger in her chest, she might not show a smile for several days.

Beisitian appeared calm and collected, smiling sweetly, not at all seeming to be provoking anyone, yet You Mingxiang was quite irritated by her. You Mingxiang simply couldn’t outargue Beisitian, clearly realizing this, she eventually turned around and left in anger.

Seeing her departure, Beisitian turned her gaze towards the two people from the Cloud Sea Sect and the Tianyao Sect. Both were nearly sixty years old, but looked only about fifty. The two seemed quite familiar with each other, their conversation and behavior appeared very harmonious.

Beisitian couldn’t help but think of Gu Haiqing and Chu Fenglei, with their attitudes, it was almost as if Yunhai and Tianyao were sworn enemies, yet it turns out the conflict was only between those two.

The two noticed Beisitian looking over, nodded slightly at her, their demeanor very calm. Not all members of ancient families held strong disdain for modern families.

Their actions didn’t attract others’ attention; however, Chu Fenglei glanced over a couple of times, and the other man’s gaze also landed on Beisitian for a moment, but soon shifted to Wen Xin.

It wasn’t that Beisitian was lesser than Wen Xin, in fact, Wen Xin was far less attractive than Beisitian, but men still preferred Wen Xin because she was more proactive, more flamboyant.

The man whispered a few words into Chu Fenglei’s ear, then saw Chu Fenglei shake his head helplessly. Afterwards, the man walked towards Wen Xin, both involved in a mutual attraction, quickly sparking a flirtatious exchange.

Shortly after, the man headed towards the castle and not long after, Wen Xin also headed there, as for what they were off to do, many people knew.

Beisitian glanced at Wen Xin’s retreating figure, so blatant, fearful others wouldn’t know she had snared a "big catch."

As she looked away, her gaze accidentally swept past Chu Fenglei, seeing him wink at her, she was stunned for a moment. Many Kongming Lanterns had been lit around, obscuring the view somewhat, though his earlier expression was clearly seen.

Beisitian didn’t linger her gaze, nor did she look back at him, she focused on Luo Yirui, watching him smile broadly as he released Kongming Lanterns with others, feeling slightly relieved.

Even if tomorrow she would face dangerous trials, seeing her son genuinely smile made her feel happy.

Luo Yirui was with Little Fatty and Jing Yuansi, releasing lanterns. Little Fatty spoke quietly, "I have no choice, if I didn’t go home, a beating was guaranteed."

Luo Yirui chuckled, "I didn’t mind, after all, we aren’t friends."

Little Fatty was cheerful hearing the first part, but the second part stung for some reason. Thinking about it, they indeed weren’t friends.

Feeling a bit down, Little Fatty glanced at him, saw Luo Yirui laughing carefree, snorted coldly, if they’re not friends, then they’re not friends, who cares!
