Mo Yuan blasted toward the north while remaining inside the Shadow Realm.

As he moved forward at incredible speed, he looked down through the connection between the Shadow Realm and the outside world.

All he could see was forest.

Trees stretched across the land as far as his eyes could see. Here and there, he could spot small ponds scattered between the trees but there were no large lakes, waterfalls, rivers or anything particularly special.

The scenery was almost completely the same everywhere.

’Is this Secret Realm naturally formed or was it created by someone?’

Mo Yuan couldn’t help but wonder.

This place was becoming stranger the more he explored it.

After around ten seconds, Mo Yuan suddenly felt something blocking his path.

He tried moving forward but his body couldn’t pass through it, it was as if an invisible wall had appeared in front of him.

Mo Yuan stopped and looked ahead.

’This is the boundary?’

He couldn’t see anything with his eyes but he could clearly feel that something was preventing him from going farther.

It reminded him of the invisible boundaries in games.

It was as if the map had simply ended and the area beyond it hadn’t been unlocked yet.

"Interesting."

Mo Yuan slowly descended.

Even though he was inside the Shadow Realm, his feet still touched the ground when he landed.

The moment his feet touched the ground in the Shadow Realm, his body also landed at the exact same location in the real world.

Mo Yuan looked down at his feet.

’So ground inside the Shadow Realm is still connected to the real world.’

The more he experienced this ability, the more curious he became about how exactly the Shadow Realm worked.

Everything inside it was pitch black, yet he could still move normally.

He could see the real world but only through some strange connection.

’There are still so many things I don’t understand about this talent.’

’What if I use my Flame Talent here?’

Nothing happened.

"What’s wrong?"

A small flame appeared in his palm.

He stared at the small flame for a moment before extinguishing it.

Then he activated Shadow Walk again and disappeared from the real world.

’Looks like the Shadow Realm has its own rules.’

Mo Yuan suddenly remembered something else.

’Wait.’

He looked around.

’I haven’t seen a single curve.’

The entire land seemed completely flat.

There were forests everywhere but no matter which direction he traveled, the land remained almost perfectly level.

’Could this entire Secret Realm be flat?’

Mo Yuan quickly calculated the distance he had traveled.

"It took me around ten seconds to reach the northern boundary."

His eyes narrowed.

"At 1,800 Mach, I’ve traveled around 6,125 kilometers."

That was an enormous distance.

Yet the entire journey had been nothing but forest.

Mo Yuan looked toward the south.

’What about the other direction?’

He wanted to test the size of the entire Secret Realm.

"Let’s go south."

He jumped into the air and immediately shot toward the south.

The scenery below quickly disappeared behind him but after several seconds, Mo Yuan’s expression became strange.

"It really is the same."

Forest.

More forest and even more forest.

There were a few small ponds here and there but nothing else.

After around fifteen seconds, Mo Yuan once again reached the invisible boundary.

He stopped.

"So the south has a boundary too."

Mo Yuan rubbed his chin.

"Let’s check east and west."

He turned and shot toward the east.

The result was exactly the same.

Forest after forest.

After reaching the eastern boundary, Mo Yuan immediately turned toward the west.

However, halfway through his journey, he suddenly slowed down.

His eyes landed on several familiar figures below.

"Hmm?"

Mo Yuan looked carefully.

He recognized them immediately.

Mu Qingying.

Bai Ningning.

Mu Shaobei.

Qin Wushang.

"So they’re here."

Mo Yuan had already seen most of the other participants while exploring the Secret Realm from the sky. He had wondered where these four had gone.

Now he finally found them.

He also remembered seeing Ming Yue fighting several beasts earlier.

’I’ll meet them later.’

Mo Yuan didn’t stop and he continued toward the western boundary.

Just like the other three directions, the west was exactly the same.

"What a strange Secret Realm."

His eyes slowly moved upward and the sun was shining brightly in the sky.

Mo Yuan stared at it for several seconds.

’Is that sun even real?’

The thought suddenly appeared in his mind.

The more he explored the realm the more he felt it was artificially created and If this was really artificially created, then where did the sun come from?

Was it an actual star? or was it merely part of the formation that created this world?

Mo Yuan became curious.

"Let’s check."

He bent his legs and jumped upward.

Even while inside the Shadow Realm, his body continued rising.

Higher and higher.

Mo Yuan looked toward the outside world through the strange connection.

The forest below slowly became smaller.

However, after he had traveled a certain distance upward, he suddenly felt another invisible barrier.

His body could no longer move any higher.

He tried pushing upward again.

Nothing happened.

A moment later, he began falling back down.

He landed safely.

"So there’s a boundary above too."

"I should go back."

He turned around and rushed toward the cave where the Golden Mouse was waiting.

He left the Shadow Realm and appeared in the real world.

The Golden Mouse immediately noticed him.

"Senior, what should we do now?"

"Jump onto my shoulder. We’re going to meet some friends."

The Shadow Realm was perfect for traveling alone because there was almost no resistance or environment to worry about but he couldn’t bring the Golden Mouse into it with him.

Therefore, this time, he had to travel through the real world.

The scenery below instantly became a blur.

The Golden Mouse’s fur was blown backward by the terrifying wind.

It tightly grabbed Mo Yuan’s shoulder, refusing to let go.

It didn’t dare to fall.
