Hearing that Mo Yuan wanted to have a chat, the Shadow Bull nodded.

"Tell me what you want to know. I know almost everything about this Secret Realm."

Mo Yuan nodded slightly.

He still had no intention of removing the illusion. As long as the Shadow Bull remained trapped inside his illusion, he could control the situation completely.

"I heard from the Flame Overlord that you came to this Secret Realm with another creature. That creature slaughtered almost every beast in this place and then disappeared somewhere. Tell me about it."

The moment the Shadow Bull heard about that creature, it nodded.

"Yes, that is what happened."

Mo Yuan’s curiosity grew.

"Then tell me about your origins and that creature."

The Shadow Bull suddenly shook its head.

"I can’t."

A frown appeared on Mo Yuan’s face.

"Why not?"

His aura suddenly flared and the pressure instantly filled the illusion space.

However, the Shadow Bull did not panic, it calmly explained, "Because I don’t have any memories."

Mo Yuan, who was about to give the beast another beating, suddenly stopped.

"What?"

He stared at the Shadow Bull.

"What happened to your memories? How did you lose them?"

A suspicious look appeared in Mo Yuan’s eyes.

’Is this beast trying to play with me?’

Before he could say anything else, the Shadow Bull continued.

"I don’t know either. After I arrived in this Secret Realm, that creature erased my memories and then disappeared. When I woke up, I didn’t remember anything."

The Shadow Bull’s voice became slightly complicated.

"I was confused. I tried to find that creature afterward but there was no trace of it."

Mo Yuan raised an eyebrow and his expression became even more suspicious.

’How can I believe this?’

Everything about this situation was strange.

The Shadow Bull knew that creature had existed and it knew that the creature had brought it here.

It knew the creature had erased its memories.

Seeing Mo Yuan’s suspicious expression, the Shadow Bull sighed.

"Fine. Take a look at my memories yourself."

Mo Yuan was slightly surprised.

"How?"

"You don’t know?"

Even the Shadow Bull seemed surprised.

Then it explained, "Focus your soul power into my body. You will understand everything."

Mo Yuan remained cautious.

He did not know whether the Shadow Bull was planning something but after thinking for a moment, he nodded.

He slowly released his soul power and carefully entered the Shadow Bull’s body.

The moment his soul power entered, Mo Yuan found himself in a strange space.

A faint figure stood inside the endless void and it looked exactly like the Shadow Bull.

’This should be its soul.’

Mo Yuan carefully examined it.

The Shadow Bull’s soul was extremely fragile, it was far weaker than his own soul and Mo Yuan felt he could blow it away so easily.

’No wonder it fell into my illusion so easily.’

Mo Yuan then noticed something strange.

The Shadow Bull’s soul seemed distorted and parts of it looked as if they had been torn apart and then forcefully connected again.

Mo Yuan focused his soul power on that strange area.

Suddenly, countless images appeared in his mind.

He saw the Shadow Bull standing inside a cave.

It was alone.

There were no memories before that moment.

Nothing.

It was as if its life had started there.

Mo Yuan continued watching.

He saw the Shadow Bull slowly exploring the Secret Realm, hunting beasts, discovering the area filled with Primordial Qi Stones and gradually becoming stronger.

Then came the battle with the alliance of Peak Realm beasts.

The Shadow Bull slaughtered half of them and the remaining beasts became terrified and stopped attacking it.

Mo Yuan continued watching until the memories reached the present.

There was still nothing about its past.

No memory of its origin and no memory of the mysterious creature.

Nothing.

After confirming everything, Mo Yuan withdrew his soul power and then he looked at the Shadow Bull with a strange expression.

"So you really don’t remember anything."

The Shadow Bull nodded.

"I told you. I don’t know anything."

Mo Yuan thought for a moment before asking, "Then how can you use this method to let someone see your memories, I don’t remember seeing it in you memories.?"

The Shadow Bull shook its head.

"I don’t know that either."

It then explained, "When I first opened my eyes after losing my memories, some things were already inside my mind. I knew how to speak, I knew the human language and I knew many basic things but I don’t know where that knowledge came from."

Mo Yuan fell silent.

He had hoped to learn something about that mysterious creature.

Instead, he had gotten even more questions.

’This is troublesome.’

Since the Shadow Bull truly had no memories of the creature, there was nothing more he could learn from it.

Mo Yuan sighed.

"Alright."

He stopped wasting time and without warning, he activated all of his talents.

His aura exploded.

The Shadow Bull’s expression changed as it felt the sudden change in pressure but before it could react, Mo Yuan appeared in front of it.

His saber flashed.

Swish!

The terrifying saber light passed through the Shadow Bull’s neck.

Its huge head fell to the ground and then the Shadow Bull’s body collapsed.

Mo Yuan calmly looked at the corpse.

He had never planned to let it live from the beginning.

That creature was too mysterious.

If it returned one day and learned that Mo Yuan had entered the secret realm and got some info about him form the Shadow Bull, there was no telling what it might do.

’But even if it comes back, it would still know that I killed the bull.’

Mo Yuan frowned slightly.

’Whatever. I’ll think about it later.’

Killing the Shadow Bull was still the right choice.

He walked toward the corpse and prepared to store it inside his space.

But just as he was about to do so, something strange happened.

A dark, mysterious substance suddenly emerged from the Shadow Bull’s dead body.

Mo Yuan’s expression changed.

"What?"

Before he could react, the strange black substance shot toward him.

It moved too quickly.

Mo Yuan tried to dodge but the black substance reached his hand in an instant.

It wrapped around his wrist and disappeared into his skin.

Mo Yuan immediately looked down.

A strange black circle had appeared on his wrist.

He stared at the mark in disbelief.

"What the fuck?"

The black circle remained completely still but Mo Yuan had a strange feeling as if something had just changed and he wasn’t able to pinpoint what exactly.
