I am the Clone of a Death Row Inmate
Chapter 697 - 382: Eighth Evolution (3)
As this new ability appeared, Su Ze suddenly paused. He sensed that this new innate ability had once again formed some sort of connection with his Divine Grace of Evolution.
It seemed... the ability had been enhanced in some way.
It had become more precise!
Su Ze’s Spiritual Power reached out from his seclusion chamber toward the main hall of the underground base, and he immediately saw Old Waller engrossed in a magazine.
Su Ze tried using his Evolutionary Sensing Ability on Old Waller, and a message instantly appeared in his mind.
"Plunderable: 3% Human Race Origin Gene."
’This is just too detailed, too precise, and too useful!’
Su Ze marveled. Enhanced by the Divine Grace of Evolution, his Evolutionary Sensing Ability had become even more absurd. It could now even identify the race and quantity of plunderable Origin Genes.
If he were one of the Tainted, he could kill Old Waller right now and plunder 3% of the Human Race’s Origin Gene.
’If a Tainted One from the Human Race mastered this innate ability, they would be an enormous threat...’ Su Ze retracted his Spiritual Power.
Although he had just stepped into the Moon God realm, Su Ze was confident that his combat strength was already among the strongest of the Moon Gods.
As a Star God, he could easily annihilate Moon Gods, even those from a third-rate race like the Dou Race. Now that he had become a Moon God himself, it was no exaggeration to say that killing other Moon Gods would be as easy as slaughtering dogs.
’Just how strong are the Dominator Races?’
Su Ze felt that perhaps only a Moon God from a Dominator Race could compete with him, but this was only speculation.
After all, he had never encountered anyone from a Dominator Race, so he couldn’t accurately gauge their power.
’Then again, maybe... even the Dominator Races are pushovers.’
’Even if I’m invincible among Moon Gods, it’s still risky to try and annihilate that entire group from the Dou Race.’
Su Ze snapped out of the brief joy of his breakthrough and was forced to confront the reality of the situation: there were far too many Dou Race Moon Gods!
He was just one person, and the other humans on Zexing only had the combat strength of a Star God at most.
Even if there were no Sun Gods among the Dou Race, Su Ze wouldn’t be able to withstand a siege by ten or twenty Moon Gods. He was simply outnumbered.
’My strength still isn’t enough, but I have a large amount of Origin Genes I haven’t absorbed yet.’
The Inheritance Crystal still contained a large amount of Origin Genes waiting to be absorbed.
Back when he was a Star God, Su Ze could only absorb Origin Genes with a completion rate below 20%. Now that he had advanced to the Moon God realm, he could absorb the Origin Genes of other races with completion rates between 20% and 49%.
After absorbing these Origin Genes, Su Ze’s power would take another huge leap forward.
The Origin Genes within the Inheritance Crystal had been a massive help, saving him a great deal of time and allowing him to reach the Moon God realm so quickly.
If he had to collect so many Origin Genes on his own, it would have taken immense effort and countless life-or-death battles.
In fact, without the initial foundation provided by the Origin Genes in the Inheritance Crystal, he might not have been able to kill a Bag Race Moon God while being a realm below. His growth rate would certainly not have been this fast.
Advantages build on one another like a snowball, and the Origin Genes in the Inheritance Crystal were his first snowball.
And perhaps because Mr. Ao was so powerful, very few of the Origin Genes he left behind had a completion rate below 20%. In fact, the most numerous were those with a completion rate above 50%.
This meant the Inheritance Crystal would still be of immense help to him even after he became a Sun God.
The Inheritance Crystal contained roughly seven to eight hundred strands of Origin Genes from other races with a completion rate between 20% and 49%.
And there were over a thousand strands with a completion rate of 50% or more!
’Once I absorb those seven or eight hundred strands of Origin Genes, my power will climb to another level. Then I’ll be much more confident about dealing with that group from the Dou Race.’
’But before that, I should capture a Dou Race Star God and bring them back for interrogation.’
Su Ze ended his seclusion early, deciding not to continue absorbing the Origin Gene inheritance for now.
"Congratulations on your promotion to Moon God, Star Lord!"
Sensing the powerful aura emanating from Su Ze, Lin Hua, Old Waller, and the others all rushed to offer their congratulations.
As the news spread, all of Zexing erupted in celebration. Their planet finally had its first Moon God!
As the Star Lord of Zexing, his increased strength gave the people living on the planet a greater sense of security.
Su Ze didn’t want to spoil the mood, so he ordered a banquet to be prepared and celebrated with Zexing’s high-level personnel.
「After a day of celebration」 He piloted the Magic Cube, taking Mr. Ya, Lin Hua, and the others on a trip to Thousand Illusion Star.
While Su Ze had been in seclusion, Lin Hua and the others hadn’t left Zexing, let alone traveled to Thousand Illusion Star. As a result, certain resources on Zexing had started to run low.
The main purpose of this trip was to capture a Dou Race expert for interrogation, but they would also take the opportunity to restock on resources at Thousand Illusion Star.
On the way there, Su Ze flew invisibly at faster-than-light speeds, heading straight for Thousand Illusion Star. As expected, the journey was uneventful.
On Thousand Illusion Star, Su Ze and his group split up. They quickly purchased various resources and sent the damaged Nebula in for repairs.
The spaceship repairs alone cost a considerable amount of money. Fortunately, Su Ze’s pockets were deep now, and he could easily afford it.
Once their business was concluded, Su Ze had everyone board the newly repaired Nebula for the return trip to Zexing.
During the return journey, he deliberately altered their course to pass by the planet where he had previously discovered the Dou Race’s temporary encampment.
Before long, a group from the Dou Race appeared in a spaceship, giving chase.
The pursuing ship was also Moon God-class and, surprisingly, was equipped with a Star-Catching Net.
A massive net shot out, precisely ensnaring the Nebula as it flew at high speed.
The Star-Catching Net’s material was incredibly resilient. It warped continuously under the Nebula’s momentum but showed no signs of tearing, trapping the ship securely within its mesh.
"HAHAHA!" Amidst the wild laughter, a crowd from the Dou Race disembarked from the rear ship, completely surrounding the Nebula.
"Listen up in there! You’re surrounded! Surrender peacefully, hand over the ship, and we’ll let you live!"
The Nebula’s hatch opened in response, slightly surprising the lead Dou Race Moon God. He hadn’t expected this "fat sheep" to be so cooperative, opening the hatch without any hesitation.
However, only a single person emerged. A very young-looking man walked down the ship’s ramp.
"A member of the Nian Race!"
Seeing a young man from the Nian Race emerge from the ship, the Dou Race members all froze. The triumphant smiles vanished from their faces.
