I am the Clone of a Death Row Inmate
Chapter 688 - 379: Su Ze’s Counterattack, Part 3
"AHH!"
A blood-curdling scream tore through the air as Su Ze and Mr. Ya left the Magic Cube and revealed themselves.
Su Ze activated his Space Travel skill, using a Space Jump to appear instantly beside the Dou Race Moon God. The torch in his hand spewed out purple flames, engulfing the Moon God.
An even more wretched scream erupted from within the purple flames. Being simultaneously burned by the Tier Eight Purple Flame and tormented by the Shadowless Needle was an ultimate form of torture. The Dou Race Moon God struggled wildly, swatting at the flames on his body. At the same time, his own rage blazed, burning even hotter than the fire that consumed him.
For the Dou Race, the angrier they became, the stronger they grew.
They could convert the rage in their hearts into combat power.
Beneath the shroud of purple flames, the skin of his well-defined, muscular body turned a deep crimson.
"Die!"
The frenzied Dou Race Moon God ignored the purple flames on his body and the Shadowless Needle within him. He had only one thought in his mind: ’Tear the enemy to shreds!’
But Su Ze didn’t clash with him head-on. ’It’s not that I can’t win a direct fight,’ he thought. ’I just have to make this quick. I need to kill this enemy as fast as possible. Otherwise, when the other two Moon Gods arrive and team up, my window of opportunity will be gone.’
And so, as the Dou Race Moon God charged him like a raging bull, terrifying destructive power surging from his fists, Su Ze calmly took a step back. Just then, Mr. Ya arrived at his side.
In the next instant, Mr. Ya grabbed Su Ze, and the two vanished, replaced by a Shadow Clone.
Mr. Ya’s Shadow Clone skill allowed him to swap places with his clone, taking Su Ze with him.
The Dou Race Moon God’s attack missed its mark, and he erupted in fury. The residual force of his punch slammed into the ground, instantly cracking the earth open into a bottomless chasm from which molten lava spewed forth.
The Dou Race’s combat style favored close-quarters brawling. Once they flew into a rage, their instincts drove them toward melee combat, making it unrealistic for them to execute complex skill combos.
This also gave them exceptionally tough bodies. Even while being tormented by both the purple flame and the Shadowless Needle, he could still maintain formidable combat strength.
After dodging the blow, Su Ze unhesitatingly unleashed his most powerful offensive technique: "Ultimate Strike."
The massive commotion had already alerted the surrounding Dou Race members. He was running out of time.
"Ultimate Strike" was a Tier Seven Godly Skill on its own, and he fused it with two other Tier Seven Godly Skills: "Weak Point Strike" and "Meteor Impact." The power of this punch was explosive!
As for the third skill slot for fusion, Su Ze chose to leave it empty, as he had no other suitable skills.
Forcing it by using "Instant Simulation" just to fill the slot was unnecessary. It wouldn’t significantly enhance the skill’s power and would only put "Instant Simulation" on cooldown.
This time, "Weak Point Strike" clearly identified a complete weak point on the Dou Race Moon God’s body, unlike before when it could only perceive half of one.
Su Ze threw a punch, launching a compressed asteroid that went whistling through the air, shattering space itself in its path.
The Dou Race Moon God was fierce and unafraid of death. Although he sensed a lethal threat from the asteroid, he also knew he couldn’t dodge it. Therefore, he chose to meet it head-on and punch it into oblivion.
"Break!"
A layer of red light coated the Dou Race Moon God’s fist as he threw a simple, unadorned punch toward the asteroid.
BOOM!
A terrifying shockwave ripped out in all directions, instantly spreading across the entire Desolate Star.
Fortunately, there was no life on this Desolate Star. Otherwise, the shockwave alone would have driven countless species to extinction.
When the dust settled slightly, the Dou Race Moon God could be seen lying on the ground, his body mangled. The purple flames had been extinguished, but the crimson hue of his skin had not yet faded.
’He’s still breathing.’
Su Ze marveled at his opponent’s incredible life force. He used a Space Jump to rush forward, activated his Bloodthirsty skill, and began plundering the Origin Gene from his opponent’s body.
Su Ze still didn’t see any skills on this Dou Race Moon God that truly tempted him.
Just then, the Dou Race Star Gods on this planet began to arrive one after another, surrounding the area. There were more than ten of them.
Su Ze immediately activated his Gravity Domain skill, but all the Dou Race Star Gods were outside its range.
Su Ze paid them no mind and continued to plunder and absorb the Dou Race Moon God in his grasp. Seeing that the Moon God still had enough strength to try and resist, Su Ze hammered his head into pulp with a single punch.
And with that, he had successfully killed a Dou Race Moon God.
He had successfully plundered the Origin Gene from within the body and also used his Bloodthirsty skill to absorb its flesh-and-blood energy, temporarily boosting his own strength.
He was making full use of his kill, letting nothing go to waste.
He could even use the leftover flesh-and-blood energy in his body to feed his Artifact Seed after the battle was over.
After completing the plunder and absorption, Su Ze could clearly feel a significant boost in his own power, which came not only from the enhancement of his Origin Gene but also from the amplification of his Bloodthirsty skill.
Having absorbed the flesh-and-blood energy of a Moon God, a tier above his own, the amplifying effect of the Bloodthirsty skill was quite satisfying. Although it hadn’t reached its limit, it was almost halfway there.
After his Bloodthirsty skill had been upgraded to a Godly Skill, the time before it automatically deactivated had increased from the original ten seconds to five minutes. Now, he wasn’t in a hurry to get more kills just to extend its duration.
However, he still needed to clear out all these surrounding Dou Race Star Gods. Otherwise, they might cause him considerable trouble in the fight to come.
To put it bluntly, although he could kill a Moon God, he himself was still just a Star God. He hadn’t reached the point where he could ignore attacks from those of the same tier.
Moreover, if he wanted to take on the two remaining Moon Gods—a one-versus-two battle against a higher tier—killing these Star Gods to enhance the effect of his Bloodthirsty skill was a crucial step.
When the surrounding Dou Race Star Gods saw that their leader had been killed by Su Ze, they hesitated to rush forward. But Su Ze knew that with a few taunts, he could probably provoke this hot-headed race into charging in.
However, he chose a more direct method. In an instant, more than a dozen Gravity Chains shot out, grabbing the Dou Race Star Gods outside his domain and pulling them in.
Some managed to resist the Gravity Chains using various means, but others were caught and dragged into the Gravity Domain.
Those outside the domain couldn’t see what was happening within. They only heard a few consecutive screams before the domain fell silent.
