Chapter 1234: Chapter 396: The Fall of the Errant Wizard!_3

This is not magic at all! Not Harry Potter!

Memory keeps delving deeper.

Accompanied by Ian’s confusion.

More fragments emerge—how Grindelwald and his followers openly sided with the Empire, how they used magic to help the Empire’s army break through defensive lines, how they provided early warnings of enemy actions, how they fought against enemy troops on the battlefield using magic.

The battle belonging to the Muggles, with the intervention of wizards, naturally veered into an unpredictable direction, and an Empire that never existed before rose.

The owner of the land where Ian stands now. What shocked Ian most was Grindelwald’s decision to break the International Confidentiality Law, revealing the existence of wizards to the world. He portrayed wizards as “pioneers of evolution,” “forerunners of a new humanity.”

Everything seemed to be developing in the direction expected by the Black Demon King Grindelwald, with wizards becoming the supreme beings in the world, just like the second-generation Black Demon King Voldemort envisioned when he looked in the mirror. Precisely because of this, if there’s no accident, the accident is bound to happen.

The power of wizards was simply too terrifying.

No Muggle nation could feel at ease. After the war, the victorious Muggles couldn’t sit still, so they naturally began to systematically hunt down and eliminate wizards.

The wizards’ value had been exhausted; it was time for traitors to be cooked like a dog’s meat feast. This is also taught in history class; the teacher’s voice turns deep and solemn.

Of course, there are certainly modifications in the history books.

“Wizards, though strong, are inherently arrogant, attempting to override human order. In 1952, Grindelwald launched the ‘Wizard Revolution,’ attempting to overthrow our King and establish the ‘Magic Empire.’ But the brave King foresaw his conspiracy and initiated the ‘Iron Curtain Plan’ with technology and anti-magic weapons.”

“Our leader also united wizards loyal to the Empire to completely suppress the rebellion!”

The scene shifts.

A massive magic tower is bombarded by missiles, countless wizards are caught by electric nets in the sky, wailing as they fall. Newspaper headlines scream the end of the wizard era!

The textbooks refer to this purge against wizards as the witch hunt campaign, depicting wizards as spies transformed by aliens and betrayers of Earth. For children, this narrative may seem somewhat naive, but for adults, it perfectly satisfies their alien conspiracy theories.

In reality.

Even those wizards who turned against their own kind did not truly escape the great purge.

Wizards had a poor sense of political acumen.

Once external threats were eliminated, the Empire turned to purge those wizard heroes of the past. There was no choice, as the power wielded by wizards made too many feel fearful.

The establishment of the Wizard Confidentiality Law perhaps wasn’t for the protection of Muggles.

But for the protection of wizards.

So those wizards who had once betrayed their fellow wizards met a tragic fate.

With each one being systematically eliminated.

“From then on, all wizard records were destroyed, magic bloodlines hunted and purified. By 1970, the last known wizard family was annihilated.”

“The evil wizards, along with their alien magic, became nothing but dust in history.”

Memory abruptly halts here.

Ian suddenly withdrew his hand, staggering back a step, his face pale as paper.

He stood between the fallen security guards and villagers, surrounded by dead silence, with only the sound of the wind moaning. His mind was racing, trying to digest this revolutionary information.

In this parallel universe’s dimension.

History was completely rewritten by Grindelwald’s recklessness!
