Hogwarts: Bloodline Legend
Chapter 1112 352: Second Trial! Victory!
The air in the gladiatorial arena seemed to have frozen, with the aftermath of magic lingering in the air as if the entire space was awaiting the arrival of the next storm.
Heka-Ur.
One of Ancient Egypt's greatest legendary mages, revered as the "Father of Magic," it's said he once quelled a divine punishment single-handedly, making him the only wizard in Ancient Egyptian history to be deemed a demigod in life, wielding powers sourced from the divine spirits.
"In the name of Ra!"
At the moment the long spear was thrown, the space was torn into a blazing trail. This wasn't an ordinary attack; it was a lethal strike imbued with the Sun God's divinity!
Indeed, that flame was no ordinary fire but the manifestation of Sun God Ra's wrath, with each flicker distorting the surrounding space, scorching the laws of reality!
"Interesting, the power of laws."
Ian's pupils contracted sharply as he saw the long spear adorned with countless tiny golden runes — the embodiment of divine script, where each symbol harbored enough might to destroy a city. Before the spear even reached him, the terrifying heat wave had already begun to singe and blacken his black robe.
The audience burst into an uproar.
"Spear of Divine Punishment! He's doomed!"
"No one can withstand the Sun God's wrath!"
"It's over, arrogant wizard!"
Ian's virtual audience hugged each other nervously.
"It's over, what now?"
"Lord Ian, dodge quickly!"
Ian didn't dodge.
"Interesting."
Instead, Ian's lips curved into a smile, and his magic wand twirled three times at his fingertips, "Then let's try this —"
"Glacialis Aeternum!" (Eternal Glacier)
The tip of the wand burst forth with a dazzling blue-white light, causing airborne water molecules to rapidly freeze in the path of the divine spear. This wasn't ordinary ice; it was "Eternal Ice" that Ian had gathered in the Arctic Abyss, with every inch inscribed with ancient runes to resist high temperatures.
At the moment blue flames clashed with Eternal Ice, the entire arena was engulfed in blinding white light. Spectators, deceased souls, raised their hands to shield themselves, and even Anubis had to squint his eyes. When the light faded, a crystalline ice mountain emerged at the center of the arena, with the divine spear frozen within it. The flames still flickered but couldn't break free of the ice's hold.
A flicker of surprise flashed in the starry eyes of Heka-Ur. He lifted his snake-shaped staff, and the gem at the tip suddenly split into twelve points of light, forming a complex constellation pattern in the air.
"Duat Invocatio!" (Netherworld Summoning)
The ground began to tremble as twelve gilded mummies emerged from beneath the obsidian floor. Dressed in priest's robes, they clutched scepters embedded with scarabs in their withered hands. Most terrifyingly, they were surrounded by gray-white mist — the cursed soul dust, causing any living creature it touched to instantly age.
Ian whistled, "Undead Calamity? Cliché but effective."
He quickly retrieved an exquisite crystal hourglass from the money bag, its sand grains appearing as eerie blood-red.
"Tempus Vermis!" (Time Worm)
At the moment the hourglass was overturned, countless tiny red lights poured from its neck. Upon closer inspection, they were not sand grains but minuscule time worms! They lunged at the mummies, burrowing into the joints of their withered bodies.
A creepy scene unfolded — the mummies' movements suddenly became extremely slow, as if slowed down by tenfold. Their actions with the scepters turned comically sluggish.
"Time worms gnaw on the time flow around them," Ian explained to the audience, as if giving a magic lecture, "The effect lasts... well, about three minutes?"
Heka-Ur snorted, heavily thumping his staff. The mummies abruptly self-destructed collectively, turning into a cloud of golden dust. The dust reassembled in the air, forming a massive web woven from spell scripts, descending upon Ian.
"Netjer Enchain!" (My Binding)
Ian unhurriedly fetched a palm-sized copper pyramid model from the money bag. He gently tossed it, allowing it to expand rapidly in the air, transforming into a complete pyramid energy field enveloping him. The spell web fell onto the pyramid's surface, emitting a teeth-gritting friction sound, unable to penetrate.
"The latest masterwork from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, indeed, the master is me, don't look at me with those eyes, I'm at the age to be a master," Ian tapped the inside wall of the pyramid, "Based on the fourth-generation Protective Spell improvement, added..."
His words were interrupted by a sudden tremor. At some point, Heka-Ur was already floating in mid-air, both hands holding an expanding black sphere. It wasn't ordinary darkness but the ultimate compressed Netherworld energy, its surface occasionally flashing tortured faces of souls.
He pulled out what seemed to be an ordinary copper mirror from the money bag, but its surface was etched with intricate Alchemy runes.

"Osiris' Judgment!"
Cracks appeared in the space along the trajectory of the falling black sphere. Ian could sense his magic shield being corroded, with the pyramid model's surface beginning to rust.
"Alright, serious mode," Ian put away his joking demeanor, his magic wand completing a one-and-a-half circle in his palm, creating a perfect silver ring. Simultaneously, his left hand withdrew three items in succession from the money bag:
