Chapter 430 - 293: Hall of Myriad Spirits Admission Ticket! The Celestial Prides’ Frenzy

The hover bus, emblazoned with the words "East Sea Passenger Transport."

Amid a grating screech of metal, it slammed heavily onto the docking platform of Berth One.

The hiss of depressurizing airflow sounded like the sigh of a colossal beast.

The moment the cabin door opened, a gust of air—a mixture of ozone, metallic coolant, and a burnt smell—flooded in.

"COUGH, COUGH! What is that smell?

This is the legendary Immortal Blessed Land?"

Gao Fei pinched his nose, a constipated look on his face.

Han Feng, however, remained unfazed, even looking around with keen interest.

This was the lowest level of the Celestial Ship, colloquially known as the Keel Area.

Looking up, he saw not a blue sky, but a tangled web of massive pipes and a steel dome flashing with red warning lights.

What flowed through those pipes wasn’t oil, but high-purity, liquid Spiritual Power.

Exposed Rune Circuits were visible everywhere on the surrounding walls, resembling the external blood vessels of some great beast.

Every now and then, they would shoot out a blue spark or two.

"Stop complaining. For a one-hundred-Spirit-Coin ticket, were you expecting a flight attendant to serve you tea?"

Wang Meng said in a booming voice, his muscles bulging against his school uniform.

The group followed the crowd off the platform.

This place was less a port and more a giant slum market.

Countless vendors in all sorts of attire had set up stalls right under the massive cooling fans.

The cries of hawkers rose and fell, making the place as bustling as a wet market.

"Come take a look! Fragments of an Ancient Flying Sword, just excavated from the Western Continent’s Land of Fallen Gods! Only five hundred Spirit Coins!"

"Ancestral Strength Pills! Take one, and lasting all night won’t be just a dream! Money-back guarantee!"

"Unidentified Demon Beast Eggs! Take a gamble, turn your bicycle into a motorcycle! You might even hatch a Tier Five Divine Beast!"

Gao Fei’s eyes lit up. He grabbed Wang Meng and was about to rush toward the stall selling Demon Beast Eggs.

Han Feng grabbed him by the back of his collar and said with a sigh,

"The patterns on that egg were drawn on with a marker. If you want to hatch a dyed old hen, be my guest."

Gao Fei stopped in his tracks. He looked closer and, sure enough, saw a patch of smudged color at the bottom of the eggshell.

"Damn! Scammers!" he cursed angrily.

Zhang Hao pushed up his glasses and calmly analyzed the situation,

"This place is known as the ’Flea Market.’ It’s essentially a place for fencing stolen goods and scamming out-of-towners.

Anything truly valuable would never be sold in this area."

Han Feng nodded.

The moment he activated his [Spiritual Vision], all the "treasures" on the ground were instantly exposed for what they were.

The so-called "Ancient Flying Sword" was made of pig iron, with only a faint layer of spirit powder plated on its surface.

That "Divine Beast Egg" had a life fluctuation weaker than a quail’s.

This whole place was just a giant operation to fleece suckers.

"Alright, let’s not waste any more time here."

Han Feng glanced at the terminal on his wrist. "Since we’re here, let’s go somewhere actually worth seeing."

Zhang Hao and the others wanted to go up too, but they felt their empty pockets and shook their heads.

"Forget it. The entry requirements up there are too steep. Just the asset verification alone would clean us out.

We’ll just look around down here and see if we can score some cheap materials," Wang Meng said with a good-natured laugh.

They were very self-aware.

Even though they were friends, they ultimately moved in different circles.

Han Feng was now someone who could converse casually with Grandmasters, while they were still just ordinary students.

Han Feng didn’t insist.

"Alright. You guys be careful, and don’t get fleeced. Message me if you need anything."

After saying goodbye to his friends, Han Feng turned and walked toward the central elevator that led to the upper levels.

The area was heavily guarded.

Two guards clad in Exoskeleton Power Armor stood blocking the entrance like a pair of Gate Gods, wielding Electromagnetic Long Halberds.

"Halt! This is a commercial district. Please present proof of assets or a pass."

A cold, synthesized electronic voice emanated from beneath their faceplates.

Han Feng said nothing. He simply took the black card Chen Beixuan had given him from his pocket and waved it over the identification terminal.

BEEP!

The turnstile, which had been glowing red, instantly turned green.

The guards glanced at the terminal, which now displayed the words "Level B VIP." Their cold demeanor instantly softened, and they even lowered their heads in a slight bow.

"Honored guest, welcome to the Myriad Phenomena Celestial Street."

Han Feng put the card away and strode into the all-glass sightseeing elevator.

As the elevator ascended at high speed, the Keel Area below rapidly shrank from view. All the noise and filth were completely sealed away behind thick, soundproof glass.

In its place, a bizarre and spectacular new world was revealed.

The moment the elevator doors opened, Han Feng felt as if he had stepped into the future.

There was no natural sky; overhead was a simulation of a blue sky and white clouds, with even an artificial sun emitting constant light and heat.

All the buildings floated in mid-air, connected by walkways made of light and shadow.

These buildings weren’t made of steel and concrete, but were ancient-style pavilions with flying eaves and interlocking brackets.

But every tile on their roofs gleamed with a metallic luster, and hanging from the eaves were not wind chimes, but miniature Spirit Gathering Arrays.

Giant holographic advertisements drifted through the air.

A Fairy clad in a Feathered Robe demonstrated a Swordsmanship routine, and with a flash of sword light, her movements resolved into the three large words: "Celestial Craft Group."

’The bones of technology with the soul of Cultivation... These Kunlun folks have really mastered the art of the mash-up.’

Han Feng marveled to himself.

He didn’t linger in front of the dazzling shops. Instead, he hailed a Hovercar exclusive to the core district and headed straight for the Myriad Laws Trading Hall.
