Chapter 504: Chapter 317: Condensing the Wish Power Avatar

He snapped his gaze to Li Wen, his eyes wide with stunned disbelief, as if he couldn’t trust his own ears.

"You... agreed?" Blood Blade’s voice held a subtle note of urgency and a need for confirmation.

"Yes, Chief Instructor." Li Wen’s gaze was steady, calm with the ease of a decision finally made.

"I hesitated before because I still had attachments I couldn’t let go of. But today is different."

He didn’t explicitly mention the matter of the Wish Power avatar, but Blood Blade could clearly feel the certainty and relief in his tone.

"Good! Good! Good!" Blood Blade exclaimed three times, a brilliant smile instantly blooming on his face, his eyes filled with relief and ecstatic joy.

"This will be the wisest decision you ever make! Li Wen, with the talent you’ve shown, especially your unparalleled aptitude in the domain of the Primordial Spirit,"

"and with your potential in the Time Law, becoming a true core member of the Source Net, receiving the full backing of the organization’s resources, and enjoying immense freedom are all well within your reach!"

"The core of the Source Net is a completely different world from the inner circle you’ve known until now!"

He was simply overjoyed.

Discovering and successfully recruiting a prodigy like Li Wen was an achievement that far surpassed the sum of his accomplishments over the past several decades.

This didn’t just mean that the Source Net would give him an unimaginably generous reward.

More importantly, it meant that for ages to come, a potential titan of the Source Net would be bound to him by the debt of having been his guide.

In his excitement, Blood Blade even seemed a little hasty.

With a flick of his wrist, a metal scroll etched with complex, dark-gold patterns appeared in his palm, along with a special brush that radiated a misty starlight.

"There’s no time to lose. This is the soul contract scroll for internal members of the Source Net. All you need to do is imprint it with your soul’s aura, and the contract will be sealed!"

Blood Blade offered the scroll and brush to Li Wen, his gaze burning with intensity, afraid that the prodigy who had only just relented might change his mind in the next second.

Li Wen looked at the contract scroll, which emanated a powerful binding and protective force, and took the brush without hesitation.

He took a deep breath and focused his mind. He carefully drew out a wisp of his soul’s imprint—one that was exceptionally pure and carried the nascent aura of Wish Power.

He slowly channeled it into the tip of the brush and then solemnly pressed it onto the center of the dark-gold scroll.

BUZZ!

The patterns on the scroll instantly lit up, flowing and circulating like a living Star River as a vast, ancient, and majestic aura spread out.

But it just as quickly withdrew, finally condensing on the scroll’s surface into a unique, dark-gold sigil representing Li Wen’s identity.

The contract was signed!

Li Wen, internal member of the Source Net!

...

「That night, in his courtyard room.」

Li Wen sat cross-legged, his consciousness sinking deep into his sea of consciousness, into the Primordial Spirit World constructed by his ten-thousand-zhang Primordial Spirit manifestation.

’Time to begin.’ With a flicker of his thought, the immense Wish Power at the core of his Primordial Spirit World began to surge violently, compressing and taking shape.

In the center of his sea of consciousness, an orb of pure golden Wish Power slowly rotated.

Guided by Li Wen’s will, its internal structure rapidly formed, gradually outlining a silhouette identical to Li Wen’s own body.

Phantasmal bones, meridians, and flesh flickered in and out of existence within the glow of the Wish Power.

It was not a true physical substance, but an energetic framework composed of highly condensed will and Law information.

Countless fine, faintly glowing threads of Law wove and spread throughout the framework like a neural network.

Most crucially, a miniature prototype of a Primordial Spirit World lit up and began to pulse like a heart in the avatar’s chest.

With the injection of the final spark of spiritual light, the avatar’s tightly closed eyes snapped open.

Reflected in the depths of its pupils was the same profundity and wisdom as Li Wen’s own.

At that moment, Li Wen felt a sense of wonder, as if he now possessed two consciousnesses at once.

An indescribably marvelous sensation instantly flooded Li Wen’s senses.

He was still Li Wen, the main body sitting in the room.

But at the same time, he was also another "Li Wen," floating in the void of his sea of consciousness, curiously "looking" at the seated ten-thousand-zhang manifestation.

Two perspectives, two sets of sensory information, like parallel streams of consciousness—independent, yet intimately connected, sharing the same core will and all memories.

There was no confusion, only a natural feeling of being "two sides of the same coin."

In the room, Li Wen’s main body opened his eyes and looked at the avatar, which had now materialized in reality before him.

The avatar also looked at him, its eyes bright and alive with the novelty of its recent birth.

Without a word, the corners of both their mouths curved up simultaneously, smiles blooming on their two identical faces.

These smiles held the joy of his own breakthrough and an amazement at this wondrous form of life.

Having just been formed, the Wish Power avatar was still very weak, as it contained very little Wish Power.

Though its appearance and aura were identical to the main body, the energy fluctuations the avatar emitted were extremely faint, like a candle flickering in the wind.

The core Wish Power composing its existence was only enough to maintain its basic form and consciousness, far from sufficient to sustain combat or use powerful Secret Techniques.

So, Li Wen quickly took out the "Wish Stones" he had prepared from his storage space and had the Wish Power avatar begin absorbing their energy.

One by one, "Wish Stones"—each the size of an infant’s fist, warm and smooth as jade, with a viscous golden light flowing within—floated out and hovered around the Wish Power avatar.

The Wish Power avatar sat down cross-legged, cupping its hands in front of it as an invisible suction force emanated from its miniature Primordial Spirit World.
