Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 784: Kairox Returns as a Punching Bag

The three of them soon arrived at the [Divine Combat Arena] through one of God Gym’s spatial gates.

The moment they entered, Garion found himself standing before an enormous battlefield stretching endlessly in every direction.

The ground was covered in mysterious divine formations, while countless protective barriers surrounded the arena.

Garion looked around with shining eyes before grinning. "Ohhh! Now this is one hell of a place! Hahaha! Perfect for testing my new strength!"

Without wasting another second, he jumped directly into the center of the arena.

Atlas floated above the observation platform beside Rachel and opened the system interface.

[Alright, Garion! Let’s see what kind of opponent we should prepare for your first test.]

Suddenly, countless particles of golden-white light began gathering opposite Garion.

Within seconds, a tall, heavily armored figure appeared.

His terrifying armor was covered in draconic scales, while an enormous spear rested in his right hand.

Garion blinked. "Huh? Wait a fucking minute..."

He stared at the familiar figure before raising an eyebrow. "Isn’t that Kairox? The Dragon Slayer candidate I killed?"

Atlas immediately grinned.

[Ghehehe! Exactly! He’s one of the strongest opponents you’ve ever fought, so naturally, I decided to use him as your sparring partner!]

Garion chuckled. "Hahaha! Interesting! So we’re bringing dead bastards back as training dummies now?"

Atlas shook his head.

[Not exactly. This is a combat simulation reconstructed from the battle data we collected.]

He then pointed toward the simulated Kairox.

[And I didn’t simply recreate his original strength. I upgraded him using all the Dragon Slayer combat data we’ve obtained!]

Garion’s eyebrows rose. "Oh? How much stronger are we talking?"

Atlas proudly crossed his tiny arms.

[I’ve forcibly enhanced his combat parameters until his overall strength is comparable to a High-Rank God.]

[Of course, that’s the simulation’s estimated combat level, not an actual High-Rank God’s complete divine foundation.]

Garion’s grin widened considerably. "Hehehe! A High-Rank God-level Dragon Slayer, huh? Now that’s a proper fucking opponent!"

Rachel watched the simulated warrior carefully before turning toward Atlas. "Are you sure that’s suitable for his first test?"

Atlas nodded confidently.

[Don’t worry. The arena can adjust the simulation whenever necessary, and Garion can stop the battle if things become too dangerous.]

Garion casually waved his hand. "Relax, Rachel! For now, I just want to test my physical strength!"

He clenched his fists and smiled excitedly. "No Gravity. Just my new God Physique against his armor!"

Atlas immediately understood what he wanted.

[Ghehehe! Alright, then! I’ll equip Kairox with the strongest armor I can reconstruct from the Dragon Slayer data!]

As Atlas activated the command, the simulated warrior’s armor began transforming.

Thick dragon scales layered themselves over one another, while countless divine markings spread across its surface.

RUMBLE!

An overwhelming defensive aura erupted from Kairox’s body.

Garion watched the transformation with growing excitement before cracking his knuckles. "Hehehe... Interesting. Very fucking interesting!"

He slowly lowered himself into a fighting stance. "Alright, Kairox. Let’s see if that fancy armor can survive one punch from a real god!"

The moment Garion finished speaking, the simulated Kairox suddenly moved.

BOOOOM!

His enormous figure shot forward, the ground cracking beneath his feet as he swung a massive greatsword directly toward Garion’s head.

Garion’s eyes widened slightly before he immediately ducked.

SWOOOOSH!

The greatsword passed above his head, releasing a terrifying gust of wind purely from its physical momentum.

Garion grinned. "Hehehe! Not bad!"

He immediately stepped forward and threw a powerful punch toward Kairox’s chest.

BANG!

His fist collided with the thick dragon-scale armor, sending a thunderous shockwave across the arena.

Kairox staggered backward several steps, but his armor remained intact.

Garion raised an eyebrow. "Ohhh? That thing is pretty damn sturdy!"

From the observation platform, Atlas burst into laughter.

[GHAHAHA! Of course it is! Did you think I’d give you some pathetic armor that breaks after one punch?!]

Garion glanced toward him. "Wait a minute, Atlas. Are you controlling him?"

Atlas grinned proudly.

[Obviously! I can directly control the simulation’s movements and activate its combat skills whenever I want!]

He rubbed his tiny hands together.

[Ghehehe! In other words, you’re basically fighting me right now, you arrogant bastard!]

Garion burst into laughter. "HAHAHA! Even better! Come on, Atlas! Show me what you’ve got!"

Atlas immediately activated another command.

[Dragon Slayer Combat Art: Tyrant Cleaving Strike!]

Kairox twisted his body and delivered a ferocious diagonal slash, channeling his immense physical strength through the greatsword.

BOOOOOOM!

Garion raised both arms and caught the blade between his palms.

CLANG!

The impact forced his feet several inches into the ground.

But, instead of retreating, Garion grinned excitedly. "Hehehe! Now that’s more like it!"

He suddenly twisted his waist, redirecting the sword sideways before driving his fist toward Kairox’s abdomen.

BAAANG!

Kairox flew backward, his massive armored body skidding across the arena.

Atlas immediately activated another combat sequence.

[Dragon Slayer Combat Art: Hundredfold Execution!]

Kairox charged again.

His greatsword transformed into a terrifying storm of physical strikes, each slash carrying the strength of an enormous draconic beast.

CLANG! BANG! BOOOOM!

Garion dodged, blocked, and counterattacked continuously.

Sometimes, he even deflected the blade with his forearms, and other times, he slipped between the attacks and struck the armor with his fists.

Every movement relied entirely on his newly ascended physical body.

Rachel watched with fascination as the two figures exchanged dozens of attacks within seconds.

"His movements have become so much smoother..." she murmured, her eyes following Garion’s movements.

Atlas nodded while continuing to manipulate the simulation.

[Exactly! His strength isn’t the only thing that improved. His entire body’s coordination, reaction speed, and physical control have evolved!]

Garion suddenly laughed as he narrowly avoided another greatsword strike. "HAHAHA! GOOD! VERY FUCKING GOOD!"

He stepped forward, twisted his hips, and delivered a devastating uppercut.

BOOOOOOM!

Kairox’s massive body shot upward before crashing back onto the battlefield.

Garion shook his fists, feeling the incredible responsiveness of his new body. "Hehehe! This is what I’m talking about!"

He looked toward Atlas with a wild grin. "More movement! More punches! More fucking sword swings!"

Garion cracked his neck excitedly. "Forget all that fancy mana bullshit for now! I want a proper physical fight!"

Atlas’s grin widened.

[GHAHAHA! ALRIGHT, THEN! DON’T COMPLAIN WHEN I MAKE THIS EVEN HARDER!]

The simulated Kairox slowly stood up, gripping his greatsword with both hands.

Garion lowered his stance and beckoned him forward. "Hehehe! Bring it on, Atlas!"
