Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 774: Even the Ghost Lifts More

Inside one of the massive training halls of the [Dragon Hell Resort], Dahlia stood with her arms crossed, looking over the first batch of dragon customers who had recently arrived.

All of them were dragons in humanoid form, with their heights ranging from two to several meters tall.

Their appearances varied greatly, with different hair colors, scales, horns, and other draconic features that reflected their respective dragon bloodlines.

Despite their differences, they all shared one thing in common... arrogance.

After all, they were dragons.

Even in their humanoid forms, their physical bodies were naturally far stronger than those of most cultivators and divine beings at the same realm.

This overwhelming racial advantage had made many of them extremely proud of their strength.

Dahlia studied the group for a moment before a fierce grin spread across her face. "Heh! So these are our new customers, huh?"

One red-haired dragon youth snorted disdainfully as he looked around the luxurious training hall.

"We heard this place could train dragons, but honestly, isn’t this a little too comfortable? How the hell are we supposed to become stronger in a place like this?"

Another dragon, a tall man with golden horns, crossed his muscular arms and scoffed.

"If this place is nothing more than some fancy resort, then don’t waste our time. We dragons don’t need to be pampered like weaklings."

Standing nearby alongside Eliza, Clara immediately perked up, her bright violet eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Oh my! Such confidence!" Clara giggled, clasping her hands together with an innocent-looking smile.

"Hehehe... I just love it when our customers arrive looking so proud and fearless! It makes everything so much more entertaining!"

The red-haired dragon frowned at her. "What’s so funny?"

Clara tilted her head playfully, her smile growing even wider. "Oh, nothing...! I’m just wondering how long those handsome, arrogant faces of yours will stay that way. Hehehe! Should we make a little bet?"

Beside her, Eliza stood as silently as a ghost, her pale grey eyes sweeping over the dragons without the slightest change in expression.

Her cold, almost spectral presence was so faint that several dragons had barely noticed her standing there.

Then, in a soft, emotionless voice, she spoke. "Good. Confidence breaks nicely."

The surrounding dragons fell silent for a moment.

Clara immediately burst into another fit of giggles. "Pfft! Eliza! You’re supposed to welcome our customers, not scare them before we even start!"

Eliza glanced at her. "I welcomed them."

Clara blinked before laughing even harder. "Hehehe! Oh, you’re absolutely terrible at this!"

Eliza said nothing more, merely returning her cold gaze to the dragons as though she were already observing a group of unfortunate souls who had no idea what awaited them.

---

Clara suddenly snapped her fingers, and a row of enormous weights descended from above, landing heavily across the training hall.

BOOOOM!

Each weight resembled a black metal mountain compressed into the shape of a dumbbell, its surface covered in strange divine markings.

The red-haired dragon youth stepped forward first, confidently grabbing one of the weights.

The moment his hand touched it, a glowing number appeared above its surface, but the arrogant dragon didn’t even bother reading it.

[Weight: 300,000 tons]

However, his expression changed dramatically the moment he tried to lift it. The damn thing wouldn’t budge! "What the...?"

His arms trembled violently as he poured more strength into his grip.

Gritting his teeth, he grabbed the dumbbell with both hands and unleashed his draconic strength, causing his muscles to bulge and his legs to sink into the reinforced floor.

"WHAT THE FUCK?! JUST HOW HEAVY IS THIS DAMN THING?!"

After several seconds of struggling with everything he had, the red-haired dragon barely managed to raise the dumbbell a few centimeters before his strength finally gave out.

BOOOOM!

The weight crashed back onto the floor, leaving him panting heavily.

Clara blinked innocently, her violet eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh my? Already tired? But we haven’t even started training yet!"

The red-haired dragon’s face turned bright red with humiliation. "THIS THING IS TOO FUCKING HEAVY! THERE’S NO WAY ANYONE CAN LIFT THAT!"

Clara tilted her head, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Hehehe... Is that so?"

She casually walked forward, and under the confused gazes of the dragons, she grabbed the exact same dumbbell with one hand and effortlessly lifted it.

But she didn’t stop there.

With a cheerful hum, Clara began performing bicep curls, casually completing twenty repetitions without breaking a sweat.

Throughout the entire demonstration, her expression remained perfectly relaxed, as though she were playing with a child’s toy.

After finishing, she gently placed the dumbbell back onto the floor and turned toward the stunned dragons with a playful grin.

"Hehehe... What? Why are you all looking at me like that? This is just a normal beginner weight we specially prepared for you dragons, you know...! I thought you’d find it a little too light!"

The dragons stood frozen, their previous arrogance nowhere to be seen.

And just when they thought things couldn’t get any more ridiculous, Eliza silently walked toward another dumbbell marked [Weight: 500,000 tons].

Without saying a word, the silver-haired woman grabbed it with one hand and effortlessly raised it above her head.

Then, with her usual cold, ghostlike expression, she casually began performing one-handed overhead tricep extensions.

Her movements were perfectly controlled, and not even the slightest hint of strain appeared on her face.

After completing several repetitions, she quietly lowered the weight and returned it to the floor.

"Too light," she murmured emotionlessly.

The entire training hall fell into complete silence.

Clara glanced at Eliza before turning back toward the dragons with a sweet, innocent smile.

"Hehehe... See? You haven’t even touched the normal weights we usually use back at [God Gym]! These are just beginner-friendly ones prepared specifically for you, so please don’t be so arrogant here, alright...?"

Eliza calmly looked at the dragons, her pale grey eyes completely devoid of emotion. "You’re weak."

Clara immediately giggled. "Pfft! Eliza! You can’t just say that to our customers!"

Eliza glanced at her briefly before replying in her usual soft, cold voice. "It’s true."

The dragon youths immediately became furious after being called weak by Eliza.

Their pride as dragons simply couldn’t tolerate such humiliation, especially when it came from a woman who looked so slender and fragile.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING WEAK?! JUST WATCH US!" one of them roared angrily.

With their pride thoroughly wounded, the dragons immediately rushed toward the training equipment and began their workouts, determined to prove that their draconic strength was nothing to be underestimated.

Unfortunately, their determination didn’t last very long.

Just ten minutes later, every single dragon was sprawled across the training hall, their bodies trembling uncontrollably as they gasped for breath.

Some lay flat on their backs, others were face-down on the floor, and a few couldn’t even muster the strength to lift their heads.

Clara stared at the miserable scene in disbelief before tilting her head.

"Huhhh? Are you guys for real? That’s all you’ve got?" She blinked several times before looking around at the exhausted dragons.

"But we’ve only been training for ten minutes, you know! Ten minutes! Hehehe... Come on, there’s no way the mighty dragons are already finished, right?"

Unfortunately, none of the dragons had enough strength left to answer her.

Clara placed a finger against her cheek, her playful expression turning slightly troubled. "Hmm... This won’t do. At this rate, they’ll collapse before we even get to the fun part!"

She then turned toward Eliza, her violet eyes suddenly sparkling with an idea. "Eliza... Go to Mersha!"

Eliza’s pale grey eyes shifted toward Clara, and for the first time, a faint trace of surprise appeared on her otherwise emotionless face. "Mersha?"

Clara nodded enthusiastically, a mischievous grin spreading across her lips. "Yup. Tell her we have some customers who desperately need her help!"

Eliza stared at her for another moment before silently nodding. "Understood."

Without another word, she turned around and quietly left the training hall, her ghostlike figure disappearing through the doorway.
