"...I think this one will do. I’ll pay for everything at once so we can speed up the purchase," Yomo, disguised as a human, says to a broker while buying a mansion in the kingdom of Ortyr. She is wearing an elegant dress, and since her physique resembles that of a woman, pretending to be a noble is easy.

"..." The man stares at Yomo’s cleavage for a few seconds before refocusing on what matters, trying not to be charmed by her beauty.

"Perfect, Miss Yomo... let’s just finalize everything with the mansion’s owner. Will your servant be coming with us?" The elegantly dressed man asks while looking at Moros.

"..." Moros gives him a look as if she wants to kill the man in front of her, because Yomo forced Moros to take the form of a girl, and no matter how much it irritated Moros, it made sense. Two women seem more fragile and safer than one woman and a proper guardian.

Since Moros and Yomo shouldn’t draw attention, pretending that both are women ends up being a light cover against people who might suspect their activities in this kingdom.

Although Moros knows Yomo didn’t order him to do this for the disguise, but merely as a way to humiliate Moros, who has to pretend to be a weak servant.

"Of course, I’m ready to finalize this as soon as possible." Yomo gives him a gentle smile as she follows him into the mansion. Moros, meanwhile, wanders the mansion grounds.

Moros wanders frustrated until she accidentally bumps into someone. "She" looks up, seeing a strange person.

"...Who are you?" The man asks Moros, who feels something strange. She looks up, analyzing this man who sharpens the instincts of her current appearance.

’He’s strong... very strong... but... he isn’t the real one...’ Moros looks around as if searching for something and then looks up at the sword on the man’s back, a long, black Katana.

’She’s the real one, the weapon... a living weapon...’ Moros keeps staring at the blade, which makes the man take a step forward, blocking the view of Moros, who is much shorter.

"I asked who you are."

"I’m a servant of my lady, who came to buy this mansion..." Since Moros is in a proper adult form, her intelligence is relatively adequate, so she answers as seems best.

"...I see. The mansion isn’t yours yet. Don’t wander around it. If my boss decides to refuse the sale, you would be considered a trespasser, and I would have to expel you... Why are you staring so much at my sword?" The man speaks as Moros looks through his helmet, seeing his eyes.

’Dead eyes... it’s a corpse. This man in front of me isn’t even a zombie, he’s just a dead body being used as a puppet... this sword...’ Moros looks back at the blade, which emits a faint black glow.

"You have a very beautiful sword, but it’s kind of scary. Is it cursed? I’ve never seen a weapon like this before!" Moros tries to find out what this weapon is. She feels like she’s seen something similar before.

"How perceptive, but no. Just because it has this aspect doesn’t mean it’s cursed. Now, if you’ll excuse me..." The man tries to end the conversation, now that he has told her not to wander around the mansion yet.

"You’re a National Rank adventurer, right?" Moros feels that this man could kill her, albeit with great difficulty, but still, he has the strength to wound her and perhaps kill her with this sword.

’Most are so weak they wouldn’t even scratch me, but this man has what it takes to kill me... he’s at least level 55, and at most level 70... but the weapon is the problem...’ Moros wonders if she shouldn’t just destroy the corpse and steal the sword.

"You really are too perceptive for a mere common servant. Yes, I am a National Rank adventurer. You don’t seem to be from around here. Are you from the Theocracy? Or the Empire? Considering you don’t know me, you certainly don’t belong to this kingdom."

"We came from the Theocracy. Things are strange there. My master decided it was better to move to a place less involved in problems."

"..." The man stares at Moros, feeling something strange, but he can’t deduce exactly what is wrong with the "girl" in front of him. She seems normal in every aspect, only her gaze doesn’t fit.

"...Alright. I’m leaving now. I hope you enjoy your time in this mansion if the purchase is successful." He walks past Moros, moving forward, but suddenly he draws the blade and strikes at Moros’s throat, stopping the attack and returning to his previous position, an absurd speed used to conduct a test.

Since Moros doesn’t even seem to have noticed, the man continues on his way, thinking he was mistaken. However, the truth is that Moros noticed, and not only noticed but reacted, touching the man’s throat before he realized it with a thin line of flesh that passed across the floor.

"As expected, the body is a corpse. He didn’t notice the touch. The sword’s vision is the only thing that works. Besides that, he’s clearly slower than me... what a strange thing... a living sword." Moros looks at her hands.

"He’s the first strong ’human’ I’ve found. It seems National Ranks aren’t weak. Considering that weapon can kill me... Nio needs to know this because it’s important." If Moros can die to a National Rank, it means Nio can too, depending on who it is, even though the power difference is far too great.

That man would never touch Moros. Being able to kill doesn’t mean being able to succeed. With this confirmation, however, Moros knows that perhaps there is someone fast enough and with enough damage to do it.

"I don’t even know if I can consider that man a human. He’s just a corpse controlled by a sword. But if Nio is accepted as a saint despite being a dragon, I guess humans don’t care much about someone’s race if a person of another race is someone important... that’s... that’s useful, isn’t it?" She asks herself, touching her own chin while looking up.

"Nio was right. Investigating other kingdoms is important. We shouldn’t leave threats to her unsupervised... Nio will be happy to know this!!" Moros looks at the window where Yomo is talking with the mansion’s owner to finalize the purchase.

’I need to send the message myself. Yomo won’t try to tell Nio about this, so I have to do it alone!! The credit is mine! I discovered this!!’ Moros gets slightly excited about talking to Nio about what she discovered on her own, anxious like a child who has achieved a great accomplishment and wants to tell her mother.
