Priam didn’t expect to be attacked there. The blow came extremely hard and fast, but the millisecond it was thrown, his Transcendental Anima reacted purely on instinct.

With an agile movement and a cold grunt, he threw a punch backward without even turning around.

*BANG!*

A slight explosion echoed, and water violently flowed in every direction.

"Your reflexes are fast, and your strength is sufficient. Okay, I admit you’re acceptable."

At that exact moment, an extraordinarily tall woman approached.

Her presence was monumental, dominant, and magnetic. Standing at an impressive six feet ten inches tall, she had a silhouette with hypnotic curves.

Her skin, eyes, and hair were all a striking cobalt blue. Translucent fins extended from her arms and ankles, while her feet were webbed, like those of a humanoid aquatic creature.

She had exceptionally long legs that drew everyone’s attention, and she wore a minimalist white leather outfit that covered only what was strictly necessary. Her arms and legs were completely bare, and the tight-fitting piece seemed barely able to contain her full breasts, which looked ready to spill out.

Her face was quite striking and perfectly matched her imposing physique. The corners of her mouth were slightly raised, giving her a deeply proud and fierce expression.

That impetuous woman had clearly launched the previous attack just to test Priam.

When he looked her up and down, his expression became stern.

[Name: Safira Selanthin]

[Race: Ceruleren]

[Magic Title: Arcanist Sage Philosopher, Third Level]

[Karmic Title: Widow of the Blood Lagoon]

[Bloodline: 93]

[Anima: 55]

[Wheel of Fate: 87]

[Loyalty: Neutral]

Priam snorted. "Did I offend you somehow?"

He was annoyed on the inside. This brat really deserved a few slaps to see if she could become at least somewhat decent. Attacking an ally with full force out of nowhere just to test them? Priam had to restrain himself from pulling out the black branch and teaching her a lesson right there.

"Safira, if you want to attack me, don’t involve the others. That will only damage the prestige of our Sacred Families," Nise said, intervening before the newcomer could say anything.

The taller woman looked down with a mocking smile. She overwhelmingly towered over both Nise and Priam.

"You’re already this protective of him? Did your heart finally melt and you finally become a real woman? Wow, I didn’t know this little boy was so incredible that he could make the ’Fairy Nise’ act like this! I should pay more attention to him."

Safira began examining Priam slowly, as if she wanted to find something truly special about him.

Priam snorted again. ’Isn’t this damn Celestial Event going to start already? Why the hell do I have to deal with these spoiled children?’

"Excuse me, young lady, but you’re acting like a mosquito looking for a nice, juicy piece of flesh to bite. If you keep staring at me like that, I’m going to have to charge you a fee," Priam said sternly.

"Hahaha!" Safira seemed surprised at first, but soon burst into loud laughter. The movement of her breasts, swaying like waves, made almost every man in the sky stare fixedly at the scene.

"Young lady? Little boy, you’re that Priam guy, aren’t you? Do you know how much bigger I am than you?"

Looking over her revealing clothes, Priam replied, "Much bigger? That depends on exactly what we’re comparing."

Safira’s expression immediately tightened. At first, she had considered Priam a wise and refined man because of his attitude and previous words. She thought it would be easy to subdue him, just like she did with all the men of her generation she had encountered.

Seeing her gaze transform into that of a predator about to pounce, Priam looked toward the abyss to the north, feeling a hint of irritation.

’Is this damn Event ever going to start?!’

"I’m talking to you!" Safira suddenly roared, pointing a finger at Priam.

’You know what? I shouldn’t even bother, but since she’s asking for it...’ Priam sighed and turned toward her again.

"I can see that your two Sacred Families have some rivalry going on. However, that’s none of an outsider like me’s business. The Event is about to begin..."

"My rivalry with her can be put aside for now! But what about what you said about us not needing to be tolerant? Are you saying you don’t want our help? Where did you get all that arrogance from?!" she interrupted him, shouting arrogantly.

Priam calmly nodded. "Exactly what you thought. If you don’t intend to cooperate with me and my faction under my orders, stay out of the way and mind your own business."

Safira frowned. She stared at Priam with a strange expression, examining him from head to toe once again.

"Miss, if you keep looking at me this closely, this is going to become a big problem..." Priam stopped speaking and let out a deep sigh, filled with theatrical drama.

"What are you talking about?" Safira asked, curiosity mixing with irritation.

"I’m already a committed man. And she... well, she tends to be a little explosive sometimes..." Priam adopted an exceptionally bitter expression, like the protagonist of a romantic tragedy.

"Actually, with your talent and beauty, as long as you put in a little more effort and take the initiative, I’m sure someone will fall in love with you someday. But... my heart already belongs to someone for all eternity. All we can do is look at each other with respect and distance. Don’t be discouraged! I’m sure you’ll find your destined partner. Just forget about me and move on with someone better. Take care!"

Priam spoke and dramatically turned toward Nise, completely ignoring Safira.

On the inside, he was grinning from ear to ear as he felt a terribly murderous and barely controlled aura nearby, fixed squarely on the giant woman.

Safira and Nise remained frozen in place, immersed in stunned silence for several seconds.

As incomparable geniuses of their generation, they had already dealt with all kinds of prodigies from various sects, but this was the first time in their lives they had ever encountered a specimen like this.

"I’m talking to you!"

Safira suddenly took a step forward, appearing like a blur right in front of him and stomping onto the ground with imposing force.

"I’ve never seen anyone this shameless in my entire life! Tell me, how can you possibly be this shameless?!"

Few people in the entire sect could match her. Her only true rival was Nise; the other two heirs of the Sacred Families in this generation were clearly inferior. As for her life experience, it surpassed that of the other three. And yet, even an existence as proud as hers had never been treated with such audacity.

From Priam’s solemn tone, it sounded as though *she* was the one desperately trying to court him, while he was acting like a virtuous and unshakable knight refusing her charms.

How could someone be this delusional and shameless?! The situation was only making her feel embarrassed in front of the people from the sect above.

"Actually, I don’t consider myself all that shameless. Anyway... there’s nothing to be done about it, so don’t be so frustrated," Priam continued with an almost professorial seriousness. "Young lady, I’ll confess the truth to you: I’m simply irresistible... I don’t even know how many stunning young women have shed blood trying to win me over. However, my heart has already been claimed."

In the distance, Flaris, Shione, and Lumiere—who had known Priam for the longest—let out a collective sigh and covered their faces. Priam might not have realized it, but every now and then, he acted exactly like Dandara, switching from one extreme to another and behaving in an utterly unpredictable manner.

"What ridiculous shamelessness! When did I ever say I liked you?! Just look at yourself! Appearance-wise, you’re nothing but skinny, short, and feminine! You have absolutely no masculinity!" Safira shot back, looking Priam up and down with a gaze overflowing with contempt.

"Yes, perfection doesn’t exist in this world. I admit that my appearance is the weak point of my devastating charisma," Priam nodded with exasperating serenity. "But we shouldn’t keep discussing this. Miss, it would be better if you kept your distance. As I’ve already made clear, I’m not interested..."

"Tch! When it comes to shamelessness, I’ve never seen anyone in the universe who can compare to you! What the hell is so attractive about you?! I don’t see anything at all!" she roared, practically foaming at the mouth with rage.

Priam let out a heavy sigh and shook his head sympathetically.

"Actually, even I have no control over my own charm. Just look at this: how incredible is an incomparable genius like you? And yet, for some mysterious reason, you just can’t stop bothering me, desperately begging for my attention. Why?"

"You’re disgusting!" Safira exclaimed, overcome by profound nausea.

Had he really interpreted every single one of her combat actions as a romantic advance?!

The urge to smash that cynical face rose so violently within her that... she couldn’t resist.

She clenched her hand into a devastating slap. Just as she began the motion...

Suddenly, a shadow cut through the air like a meteor, piercing the very fabric of space-time!

*POW!*

The next millisecond, the monumental figure standing over two meters tall went flying through the air, spitting out a mouthful of blood and spinning uncontrollably for several meters before crashing heavily to the ground.

The surrounding crowd was left completely catatonic.

Directly in front of Priam, Dandara appeared, planting her feet firmly on the ground with a thunderous impact. Her expression was ice-cold, and waves of Miasma twisted furiously around her like sinister tentacles.

"You bitch... You forced me to stamp my message directly onto your face. Never come near him again," Dandara spat through gritted teeth.

**BUZZZ!**

The entire environment hummed as the atmosphere of the area was dyed a deep, threatening blue.

"YOU... HOW DARE YOU?!" Safira rose from the impact, consumed by brutal fury.

Dandara flashed a sinister, sadistic smile, ready to beat that proud bitch until she was completely unrecognizable. However...

"Safira, stand down!" Nise’s voice rang out, cold and sharp. She pulled out a golden tablet and raised it. "If you cause the slightest trouble here, I’ll immediately contact the sect’s command, and you’ll be dragged back. You know very well what will happen if you’re taken away."

Safira froze, her face twisted with hatred. On her cheek, the purple mark of a palm gleamed like a glowing tattoo.

In the distance, Flaris, Shione, and Lumiere sighed again. It was unbelievable: Priam and Dandara truly were soulmates even in this regard.

Dandara’s Miasma was not an ordinary energy—coming directly from the Goddess’s Inheritance, it contained the pure essence of a Sovereign. She had shown no mercy whatsoever: she had used a highly concentrated dose, specifically designed to mark her opponent’s face for a very, very long time. No matter how much Safira tried to purify the mark, she wouldn’t be able to remove it anytime soon.

"HOW DARE YOU?!" Safira roared again, foaming at the mouth with rage.

Nise took a deep breath and assumed an unyielding stance.

"I was chosen by the Central Elders to lead you and everyone else. Any act of indiscipline will be severely punished. Don’t make me repeat myself: stay away and remain quiet in your corner."

Priam nodded, deeply satisfied. Beside him, Dandara also nodded. Both shared the same mocking expression.

Of course, Dandara had understood the whole ploy perfectly. Priam had manipulated the entire situation just to rile Safira up, knowing exactly that Dandara would eventually intervene in his place.

Why? Because Priam still had a certain moral restraint when it came to punching women. Besides, although Safira was unbearably arrogant, she wasn’t genuinely malicious—for him, she was nothing more than a badly behaved brat.

Dandara, on the other hand, carried some internal insecurities that worried Priam. That was why he had created the perfect opportunity for her to mark her territory in front of the inner sect, before any moths could start swarming around him.
