Heavenly Dungeon: My Subordinates Are All Woman Monsters
Chapter 24: Veyra
Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Veyra
As the light gradually faded, her face became visible.
She possessed delicate, mature features, sharp crimson eyes, and pale, flawless skin. Her expression was calm and composed, but there was something dangerous hidden behind those eyes, as though she had spent years standing on battlefields rather than living an ordinary life.
She wore a fitted black-and-crimson battle dress reinforced with dark metallic armor around her shoulders, waist, and thighs. The armor was elegant rather than bulky, designed to preserve her mobility while still providing protection. Long black gloves covered her forearms, while dark boots reached just below her knees.
Her figure was graceful and athletic, with the physique of someone who had trained her body extensively. She was undeniably beautiful, but there was nothing delicate about her presence.
She looked like a warrior, a very dangerous warrior.
Ragnar stared.
"...Whoa."
The woman slowly opened her crimson eyes. A faint magical aura spread from her body.
Ragnar immediately felt the pressure.
It wasn’t overwhelming enough to crush him, but it was powerful enough to make him realize that she was far stronger than any monster he currently possessed.
The system window appeared.

Ragnar’s mouth slowly opened.
"Level 30?"
He nearly fell backward into his throne.
"Level thirty?!"
He looked at the woman again.
So this woman wasn’t merely stronger than his current monsters.
She was several levels above him.
Ragnar quickly checked the rest of the information.

[Burning Body]
[Battle Command]

Ragnar’s eyes practically lit up.
"She’s ridiculously strong."
The woman took a step forward.
Her boots made a soft sound against the stone floor.
She then lowered herself onto one knee before Ragnar, placing one hand against her chest.
"My Lord."
Her voice was calm and mature.
"Veyra greets you."
Ragnar stared at her for several seconds.
He had expected his free pull to give him something useful. Maybe a level 15 subordinate.
He certainly hadn’t expected to receive a Level 30 subordinate.
And judging from her description, she wasn’t merely powerful.
She was intelligent.
She was a commander.
That could be even more valuable than raw strength.
Ragnar slowly stood from his throne.
"Veyra..."
He repeated the name quietly. The woman raised her head.
"Yes, My Lord."
Ragnar looked at her from head to toe once more, then glanced toward the system window.
"Level 30..."
A smile gradually appeared on his face.
"I really like this gacha."
For the first time since becoming a Dungeon Master, Ragnar felt that his dungeon had gained someone who could completely change its balance of power.
He had goblins, wolves, poisonous bats, giant spiders, and forest rats.
And unlike the monsters he had purchased from the shop, Seraphina possessed intelligence, combat experience, and the ability to understand his orders.
Ragnar’s smile widened.
"Welcome to my dungeon, Veyra."
Veyra lowered her head respectfully.
"Thank you, My Lord."
Ragnar looked toward the dungeon map floating beside him.
Somewhere beyond those stone walls, the humans had already begun spreading news about his dungeon.
They would undoubtedly return.
And next time, they might bring someone much stronger than Kyle.
Ragnar’s eyes narrowed.
"Let them come."
His gaze shifted toward the beautiful demon kneeling before his throne.
This time, however, his dungeon was no longer defended only by a collection of low-level monsters.
He now had a Level 30 subordinate standing at his side.
----
Several hours later, far from the dungeon hidden within the forest, the gates of Hetin Town slowly came into view.
Kyle walked beneath the massive stone archway, his footsteps heavy and uneven. The journey from the village had taken considerably longer than he had expected because of his injuries, and although the villagers had done what they could to treat him before he left, several wounds were still wrapped tightly in cloth beneath his battered leather armor.
His face looked exhausted, his clothes were stained with dried blood, and the expression in his eyes was completely different from the one he had possessed when he had left the village.
He had entered the forest believing he would return with treasure.
Instead, he had returned carrying nothing but terrible news.
Kyle ignored the curious gazes of the townspeople as he made his way through the busy streets. Hetin Town was far larger than his village, with several stone-paved roads connecting the various districts.
Merchants shouted from their stalls, carriages moved through the streets, and adventurers wearing equipment far superior to anything the hunters in his village could afford walked between the buildings.
Yet Kyle barely noticed any of it, his mind remained focused on one thing.
The dungeon, he had to report it.
The moment he entered the town, Kyle had immediately gone toward the mayor’s residence. Fortunately, the guards recognized him as a hunter from one of the nearby villages and allowed him through after hearing that he possessed important information.
Now, after waiting for some time, Kyle finally stood inside the mayor’s office.
The room was considerably more luxurious than anything Kyle had ever seen.
A large wooden desk occupied the center, several bookshelves lined the walls, and a large map of the surrounding region hung behind the mayor’s chair.
Various documents were neatly arranged across the desk, while a crystal lamp provided a soft magical light that illuminated the entire room.
Behind the desk sat a middle-aged man with neatly combed brown hair and a well-maintained beard. His clothes were made from expensive fabric, and several gold rings decorated his fingers.
Despite his somewhat relaxed appearance, his sharp eyes revealed that he was a man accustomed to managing both people and problems.
