Heaven, Earth, Me

Chapter 1706. First Meeting in the Royal Hunt.

After Han Yasheng and Yasenia spoke back and forth, Yasenia caught many people's attention. So, when the Royal Hunt started, many stayed behind to follow her group. To their surprise, Yasenia’s group and the guards assigned by the Shang family didn’t move.

Even as everyone soared into the sky and flew into the distance, Yasenia summoned some furniture, placed it on the grassland, and even took out some snacks to eat. The maids who came lingered around, making tea and other beverages for the girls and the Shang Guards.

The Shang Guards were all somewhat surprised, but once they received a Spiritual Sense communication, they paused and sat as well. Their group was rather large, but compared to other families, it was average. 250 maids, 30 guards, and Yasenia’s main group. That was it.

50 maids were left behind to take care of Feixue and Asterion, who were in the Dravory Dragon Valley. Still, most of the strongest maids did follow them.

Evelyn sipped from a cup of milk tea with a happy smile. “So, when do we leave?”

Yasenia hummed, leaning back and hugging Angel to her body. “Wait until there are no visible groups. Clearly, they won’t disappear and might wait for us somewhere hidden. However, that’s better than moving out now and being swarmed by a few of them.”

Angel snuggled close, a satisfied smile on her lips.

Kali ate a few of the special pastries Yasenia prepared with life-related herbs as condiments. Because of her pregnancy, she was craving food and treasures that had powerful Life elements. Eating even one of them caused her tail to wiggle happily behind her. After eating one, she munched and asked. “What part do you want to explore first?”

“The gloomier areas. The swamp, or that large dead zone in the southwest. They are rarer than forests, so we might find something interesting.”

Since Kali seemed to agree, the rest of the girls didn’t argue. Cecile added something, though. “We need to find a few critter species for the ring as well, right?”

Yasenia blinked. “That’s not a bad idea. The few species we’ve added over the years populate some zones, but there are others without anything. Let’s find a few non-combat species.”

Some creatures evolved not in the offensive and strength department, but in speed, stealth, or defense. In order to survive without being really able to take down their enemies, these characteristics were incredibly developed, and at the same level, no cultivator would usually be able to dream of catching them.

Some mortal species were even fast enough to avoid recently ascended immortals.

With a plan in mind, Yasenia’s group waited for a day or so before everyone left. Waiting for more than a day would look creepy even for demons because they would be announcing that they wanted Yasenia.

Right now, everyone was somewhat cautious about the new Dravory Family, so it was better to show some restraint.

Seeing mostly everyone gone, Yasenia looked up at the carriage pulled by nine phoenixes once before turning away and leaving. ‘Let’s look around, then.’

As they moved, Yasenia tinkered with a small pendant hanging on her neck. The pendant was something they received before the Royal Hunt started, and it would record the points and such when you swept it over a treasure you collected or a beast you defeated.

‘It probably also has a tracking function, but they gave it to us yesterday, so we haven’t had that much time to analyze it. Tatyana has already checked for harmful formations, and there are none at first sight. As for the more complex ones, she is looking into them.’

Yasenia’s group arrived at the swamp area. The sky was gloomier in this area, cloudy. The terrain was a greyish color mixed with touches of brown and dark green. The trees were lush, even though it was a swamp. The leaves had dull colors, though, and the trunks were a nice, lustrous black.

There were pathways without water, but the number of shallow, or at least outwardly shallow, sloughs was quite numerous. The land was quite wet as well, and Yasenia’s sharp senses could detect many insects and other species moving. To avoid missing treasures, they walked on foot, hovering slightly above the wet ground.

Yasenia paused, her nose twitching slightly. The scent of earth, herbs, and water mixed into a refreshing one. It was not an unpleasant odor, just a strong scent of nature. And, among those scents, Yasenia’s sharp dragon nose managed to detect a much stronger and better-smelling one.

The rest of the girls paused, knowing Yasenia caught something.

The Shang Guards glanced over with confusion and suddenly saw Yasenia lower herself and plunge her hand into the wet ground. Some of them were surprised, but a second later, Yasenia pulled out a bunch of roots and used her energy to clean the mud off them. “I found this.”

Kali glanced at it and showed a trace of surprise. “That’s a great find. They are supplementary roots named [Gloomglow Mudroots]. They shine in the dark, but since they grow underground, finding them is really difficult. With your garden, though, we can now have an unlimited supply in just a few years.”

Andrea looked at them and asked. “What are they good for?”

Kali smiled happily. “Growing parasites. Venomous ones love those roots.”

“Ah…”

The girls almost forgot that their fox lady liked to play with those wriggling and creepy little things. The Shang Guards listening glanced at Kali strangely for a second, but they acted as shadows and didn’t speak up.

After that, the guards came to understand Yasenia’s super ability to find treasures. They would wander around almost aimlessly, and when one of the girls detected a certain terrain where a treasure could appear, they pointed it out. Then, all they had to do was walk over and wait for Yasenia to find it.

Evelyn glanced at Yasenia and laughed. “Your nose is as sharp as ever. It helps quite a lot. Are you sure we are not going to crush everyone else at this pace?”

That was something Yasenia was worried about, but she doubted it. They were not hunting beasts, after all. And, according to what she heard from the lengthy explanation, beasts gave many more points compared to other types of treasures.

Cecile suddenly spoke up. “Stop.”

Everyone froze and grew guarded. Cecile raised her bow and pointed at one of the sloughs. “There are traces in that direction.”

Clara, her personal maid, took out her own bow and spoke as well. “The energy traces are of a relatively powerful beast. We should be careful.”

Valeria manifested behind Kali, her incredibly tall and curvy figure catching some of the Shang Guards off guard. The Nature Queen Spirit stretched her hand, and roots all around gathered to form a gorgeous, curved staff.

“Let’s see… [Life Pulse].”

A gentle wave of energy pulsed outward, causing Valeria’s eyebrows to raise. “The beast was hunted… But we are not alone.”

Kali smiled. “Thank you, Valeria.”

Valeria looked down and smiled back. “There is no problem, dear. Be careful. Some of them are quite powerful.”

Yasenia looked around and spoke up. “Alright, time to come out. You’ve been following us for a while already.”

A man’s voice reached her from above them. “Impressive. I had not expected your group to have someone as special as that green lady.”

Glancing up, Yasenia’s face showed a trace of annoyance. She was quite familiar with the species of those above her. “...Incubus.”

The handsome demon and his kin smirked at Yasenia’s expression. “You’ve met our kind before.”

Yasenia crossed her arms and sighed. “I have. It was not a pleasant experience, so I just killed them all. Succubi are not much different, though. Only a few have come around to become likable, and only one has ever become someone I respect.”

The group of incubi glanced at Yasenia’s group with interest. The leader chuckled. “I see. It’s a shame that they were not good enough to give you a great experience. I am different, though.”

Yasenia smiled. “You misunderstood. Not a single incubus has ever managed to touch even one strand of my hair. The unpleasantness came from conversation. So, let’s each go our ways. I truly don’t want trouble, and I don’t get along with your species. I am sure there are many other beautiful women who would love to be with you.”

The Incubus glanced at Yasenia up and down and sighed. “So, you are an innocent girl who has never tasted true pleasure. It’s honestly a shame. I promise to treat you well, so how about we move to a more silent place?”

Yasenia looked at him, and her smile disappeared. “Incubus. I am giving you one last chance. Your group is strong, but not to the point that we are afraid of you.”

The incubus glanced at the Shang Guards and rubbed his chin. “It would indeed be a bit of a problem. However… why do I feel that you are worth that trouble? Not only you, but those behind you look delicious. Not a single bad-quality woman among you.”

Yasenia’s face turned frigid, cold anger spreading through her veins. “You’ve crossed the line, Demon.”

Yasenia could accept most things coming her way. She knew her own appearance caused trouble, and if they reacted to everything, they might as well become civilization enders.

However, her appearance had a perk Yasenia liked: most stares and comments came her way. She was like a bright sun hiding the brilliance of the stars around her. So, when someone deliberately looked around her and even made comments, it was no longer something she could ignore.

The group of around 200 demons, though, was not intimidated. Among them, there were five Level Nine Demon Monarchs, and over two dozen Level Eight ones. The rest varied greatly, ranging from juniors to adults.

Still, it was a considerable force for this Royal Hunt. Only main families had Half-Steps among their midst.

Speaking of numbers, the 30 Shang Guards had 3 Level Nine Transcendents, 10 Level Eight Transcendents, and the rest were Level 7 Transcendents. It was a decently sized force for a guard group.

So, in terms of force, the incubi were confident. They didn’t know Yasenia and the others weren't people to mess with.

As things grew tense, the Incubus laughed and stepped back. “Your gaze is so scary… but also so beautiful.” He smirked and turned around. “We’ll leave for now. It was a pleasant meeting. You are more interesting than I thought.”

Yasenia caught several gazes from them looking behind her as they left, causing her to feel uncomfortable. “Wait.”

They paused, looking around, and Yasenia smiled. “Let’s talk a bit more. I’ve changed my mind.”

The incubus frowned. He was not stupid. “Better not. As I said, we are done for today.”

Yasenia’s smile deepened, and then she allowed her charm to flow out naturally. The demons who were about to leave suddenly froze, all gazes converging on Yasenia.

Yasenia smiled deeply. “Come here… Let’s talk.”

Then, she raised her hand across her waistline and lifted one of her heavy, massive breasts as she increased the charm she was releasing. “Don’t you… want to talk?”

As the incubi were quite literally drooling, with massive bulges pressing against their clothes, Tatyana, Angel, and the other formation masters in the group finished their preparation.

To make them lose even more focus, Yasenia used her fingers and lowered her front robe juuust before showing her pink tips. Tilting her head seductively and allowing her midnight black hair to scatter onto her chest, Yasenia whispered in a bone-softening voice. “[Charm Technique: Breathtaking Allure].”

“Look at me.”

Her charm surged massively to the point that even the alert Shang Guards faltered and glanced Yasenia’s way. The weaker Incubi couldn’t even hold back and, just from visual stimulation, they wet their pants.

One of them rushed forward, his eyes bloodshot. “I can’t hold back! Come here and have my children!”

Yasenia’s seductive smile turned cold, full of contempt. “Fool.”

Tatyana’s cold and ruthless voice spread out as she stomped the ground.

“[World Demon Suppressing Seal Formation].”

The terrain shifted, formation lines spreading out from her foot, and it was only then that they finally managed to escape from Yasenia’s soul-gripping beauty.

The one who had rushed toward Yasenia, taking off all his clothes, was instantly pressed against the ground and flattened by the formation’s power. Only those above Level Seven could remain standing, but they were not in a good shape.

“What? When did they have the time!?”

“Shut up! Prepare for battle!”
