Chapter 915: Chapter 369: The Inherently Evil Riddle Brat—Let Me Finish Him Off Myself..._2
"I know about this matter," Harry said with a nod.
He didn’t continue further, after all, the highest level of lying is to tell part of the truth.
And the truth is, he actually knows about this matter—the whole thing, in full detail.
But the matter Riddle understood was about the opening of the Secret Chamber.
"So? In Dumbledore’s eyes, I’ve always been the most suspicious person!" Riddle shouted hysterically. "In his eyes, just because I did some things when I was a child, he decided I’m a born bad seed! A hopeless person!"
Harry: ...
You see, you still refuse to admit that what you did was wrong, only willing to say you did ’some things’.
Who the hell do you think you can fool?
"I deserve to be loved!" Riddle continued hysterically, "I need to be loved!"
"Well acted," Harry clapped his hands and said. "So, I can only say sorry to you because I’ve been watching your performance all along... Can you now state your final purpose?"
Riddle was stunned.
"What do you mean?" he asked uncertainly.
It should be said, there was a last glimmer of hope.
If Harry knows who he is, then all this time of performance turns into a farce.
"I know what you’ve done, Riddle," Harry said, smiling. "I even know who you are; your mother is Melop of the Gaunt family, your father is a Muggle named Tom Riddle, you’re the product of a Love Potion, and your mother named you after your father."
"I remember, the product of a Love Potion is born without understanding love," Harry continued. "So, you’re just a naturally evil Riddle, no matter what you say to cover it, you can’t hide the fact—you are just the naturally evil brat of the Riddle family."
"No! I’m from the Gaunt family!" Liddle tried to argue.
"Oh, the naturally evil brat of the Gaunt family, I’ll just eradicate you by my own hand!"
With that, Harry extended a hand.
"Wait!" Riddle hurriedly called out: "I have a question!"
"What question?" Harry asked.
"You—I mean, you and Dumbledore, have you collected all my Soul Artifacts?" Riddle asked.
"A total of seven, three have been eradicated," Harry said with a shrug, "you’re the next one, my friend."
"Why?" Riddle asked unwillingly. "What’s made you so hostile toward me? We could have been friends! Think about it, do you have to serve Dumbledore? We could have been friends!"
"Because my parents died at your hands, Riddle," Harry laughed, snapping his fingers, the world before him instantly turned to nothing, along with Riddle.
Then he exited the Spiritual World.
Out of the corner of his eye, he could even see the black mist dispersing from Ravenclaw’s Crown.
He stepped forward, took the Ravenclaw’s Crown in hand.
"Dumbledore," he said, "as a reward, can I have this thing?"
"I’ve always planned to give it to you," Dumbledore laughed. "The next headmaster will be Minerva; I intend to have you assume the position after Minerva steps down."
Harry scratched his head, shocked: "Huh? No, Dumbledore, isn’t this a bit predetermined? Doesn’t Hogwarts’ headmaster need to be elected by the School Board?"
"For others, yes, Harry," Dumbledore said, smiling before continuing, "but you don’t need that—for the reason, I don’t need to say more, do I?"
Harry pondered and felt it was indeed the case.
School Board?
Kidding, the Black family, the Malfoy family, and Miss Swedding are all mine, does it need the School Board’s deliberation?
I am the School Board!
Now, if Harry wants to be headmaster, it’s not about whether he can, it’s about whether he wants to.
What do they mean by Harry Potter’s value!
Harry lowered his head, examining the luxurious crown again.
The crown was a gemstone-encrusted, glittering piece, inscribed with Ravenclaw’s famous saying at the base—"Exceptional intelligence is the greatest wealth of mankind."
Ravenclaw’s diadem is the only relic of the Ravenclaw College’s founder—Rowena Ravenclaw.
She enchanted it to increase the wearer’s wisdom.
"Technically, no one knew that the crown was hidden," Dumbledore shook his head in admiration.
"As far as I know, the crown was originally stolen by Ravenclaw’s daughter Helena, who supposedly wanted to become smarter—but she vanished without a trace..."
Vivi looked at the crown and said, "I talked with the ghost Lady Grey in Hogwarts, she told me Ravenclaw didn’t share this matter with the other three college founders, similar to Salazar Slytherin and the Secret Chamber. She kept this secret. Soon, she fell ill and hoped to see her daughter once more, so she sent Bloodman Barrow, who loved Helena, to find her."
Vivi paused briefly at this point.
"Bloodman Barrow found Helena in the Albanian Forest, upon seeing him, Helena quickly hid the crown in a tree hole. Barrow tried to drag her back to see her mother, but she refused to move. Finally, Bloodman Barrow lost patience and accidentally killed her. After killing her, he regretted it so much he stabbed himself, ending his life. Ravenclaw also died days later due to illness. No one knows where the tree hiding the crown is, no one knows who ever saw it, let alone whether it still exists. The crown vanished into thin air."
"How did Lady Grey know about this secret then?" Harry asked curiously.
"Silly boy." Vivi reached out and pinched Harry’s cheek and said, "It’s obvious, Lady Grey is Helena herself! Otherwise, how could she know so much detail?"
"I see!" Harry said in sudden realization. "So, Voldemort gained Lady Grey’s—no, Helena’s trust to find the crown, right?"
"Yes." Vivi said with a smile, "Seems like this Lady Grey trusted the wrong person, Riddle was a confident person too, overly confident in himself, hence he hid the crown in the Room of Requirement..."
At this point, Vivi’s expression turned dark.
"Honestly, what is the Room of Requirement, a garbage dump? To have Soul Artifacts placed inside..."
Harry shrugged, not responding to her words.
He placed the crown in his wallet and turned back to Dumbledore.
"Wait—"
Sitting beside, Gellert suddenly moved his legs, sliding over the wheeled executive chair to Harry’s face, lifting his head and giving Harry a mischievous grin.
"So, Potter?" he asked mischievously. "I can see, you’re not planning to give this crown as a gift to my sister, right? And this is a lady’s crown, so... who do you intend to give it to? It’s really hard to guess!"
Harry suddenly clenched his fists.
Damn, Gellert this bastard, he’s definitely doing it on purpose.
He’s stirring things up!
Sure enough, upon hearing Gellert’s words, Vivi turned her head, looking at Harry tenderly.
"Is it true, Harry?" she said in a clear voice, "Is it really as Gellert said?"
