Chapter 904: Chapter 364: Snape as a Study Companion—Is This the Blessing You Want?

After career guidance, fifth-year students are about to face the event they most look forward to—

O.W.L.s exams!

Just kidding, no one looks forward to it except for bookworms like Hermione.

Everyone is listless, stretching out their arms and slumping their heads on the table, truly lacking the energy to study.

The feeling of being tense for a whole year is really unpleasant.

Fortunately, Professor Lupin’s Defense Against the Dark Arts Class is always so innovative and quite popular.

Everyone likes Professor Lupin, even the Slytherin students have started to like this gentle and fun professor.

Besides, he has considerable real skills.

For the vast majority of students, they’ve rarely encountered such a reliable Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts... Think about it, students in fifth, sixth, and seventh grades have gone through that double-faced guy Quirrell stuck to the back of their heads, and those who have experienced Umbridge, how could they not cherish Professor Lupin now?

Of course, Professor Lockhart... oh no, should be Lady Rozier isn’t bad, but compared to Professor Lupin, there’s still a lack of gentleness.

"My favorite class now is Defense Against the Dark Arts." First-year Abekrombi said cheerfully.

If he were to pick a class he disliked most, even if he didn’t say it, everyone knew which class it was.

Yes, aside from Snape, the Gryffindor nemesis in Magic Potion Class, what else could a Gryffindor loathe to the bone?

"Sometimes I really want to use a Head Washing Spell on him." A second-year student muttered in the Gryffindor common room.

Though he didn’t mention names, everyone knew who he was talking about.

Think about it, is there anyone else in Hogwarts who needs a hair wash—that’s something all the students together don’t need to ponder.

Ron has been losing weight recently, aside from studying, because he was eating too much lately and his body started to be out of shape.

Weight loss isn’t just to deal with the upcoming exams, but also the Quidditch match—of course, in Ron’s words, he’s preparing for the Auror exams from now.

"I’ve decided to bring my talents to Auror." Ron said through gritted teeth to Harry while training Quidditch.

Then, he got knocked off his broom by Angelina’s Wandering Ball, landing with a thump on the ground.

"Sometimes I really doubt if Gryffindor women understand the concept of gentleness."

Ron stood up rubbing his nose, getting back on the broom, saying: "You see, Angelina is so violent, I really don’t get why George likes her, is it just because she likes hitting people?"

"Who knows, maybe George has a special hobby." Harry floated beside Ron and said.

Harry at the practice match was purely there for the show, after all, the Golden Snitch is something he doesn’t need to train to catch now, the main focus in practice matches should be the Goalkeeper, Chaser, and Batter.

Harry doesn’t feel that catching the Golden Snitch in practice matches is of any use, but Angelina apparently disagrees.

After Quidditch practice ended, Ron, dejectedly, took his stuff to the Slytherin Head’s office.

After receiving Snape’s venomous lectures, he returned to the Gryffindor common room, downhearted.

"You were the one who introduced Ron over, right?" Hermione took advantage of Ron’s absence to question Harry.

"Haha, you found out." Harry laughed awkwardly and said, "But this is a good thing, Hermione, think about it, although they’re not on good terms, Ron’s weakness is Magic Potion Class, are there any other masters in Magic Potion at Hogwarts?"

"Do you think Ron can learn any real skills?" Hermione asked Harry with some doubt.

"I also don’t know." Harry shrugged and said.

"Look, Ron’s back." Hermione pointed over there and said, "Look at his dejected look—oh my, I can’t even imagine what Professor Snape did to torture him in the office."

"Just because I’m a delicate flower doesn’t mean you should pity me." Harry lowered his voice and said.

"What?" Hermione turned around and asked.

"Nothing." Harry smiled and said.

Ron sat back in his seat, looked up at a forty-five-degree angle at the sky, and let out a long breath.

"Hi." He scratched his fiery red hair, "It’s the first time I feel studying Magic Potion is a joyous thing—what do you guys think?"

Harry and Hermione exchanged a glance.

Feeling guilty, Harry stood up and left, leaving Hermione behind to comfort poor little Ron.

When Harry woke up the next morning, he found the pair playing feeding games in the hall, Hermione meticulously feeding Ron, his expression completely punchable.

"Ha, what a stench of romance." Harry said, puckering his lips.

Hermione and Ron looked at Harry but did not respond to him.

"What’s going on?" Harry sat down and asked, "Why are you suddenly feeding Ron?"

"Because I got jabbed by Professor Snape’s Magic Potion Class materials yesterday." Ron raised his right hand, which was hilariously swollen, with five fingers looking like five short, thick, chubby little carrots.

"Oh sorry." Harry couldn’t hold back and laughed out loud.

"Laugh all you want." Ron sighed helplessly, "I don’t even know what it was, all I know is that it was fine last night, but this morning it turned out like this, I think I should visit the school hospital and see Madam Pomfrey."
