Chapter 292 - 292: The Movie Premiere! [FIXED]!
The world was a violent place that had no place for the weak because those it couldn’t destroy, it made them kill themselves.
Kyle was almost a victim of this, but was it the same universe that granted him his powers?
The question was never asked; it just dropped into his lap, and Kyle made it his own, but there was no telling what the origin of this power was.
What were the consequences that came with it? It could bend reality and make the impossible possible.
If such a thing were possible, it could only be one thing, and that was the existence of something superior.
Kyle helped Aiysha through her episode, but it was worrying that Jones didn’t catch on to this before heading to work.
Kyle didn’t know Jones for long, but was aware of the kind of man he was, and there was no way he wouldn’t have caught on.
“Fucking hell Jones, what are you doing?” Kyle muttered under his breath as the shower ran.
Kyle knew he might have to book extra hours for her to get some rest, and that was something he didn’t mind.

The Mafia had done something drastic, and everyone was on alert, but this didn’t mean everyone appreciated this act of aggression.
It was a broad statement by the Mafia that had the potential to ignite a war despite the bosses of the underworld all holding each other in high esteem.
This was something that felt like an intimidation tactic, and the fact that it drew attention to their territories meant they had to halt operations for a while.
This meant it could hinder their source of income, and a day not dealing has the potential to record a loss in the hundreds of thousands.
This was something they couldn’t tolerate because it left the territory the Mafia operated in unaffected.
It was a bold move, but they couldn’t look weak regardless of the enemies they angered along the way.
Alfredo knew things were about to boil over, but he wasn’t one to tell the Don what to do.
If anything, they only held this much power because of this man, because their family wasn’t always powerful.
The Don had to do some despicable things to bring them to where they are, and this was why cruelty was needed to keep people in check.
Alfredo was also curious who would want Kyle dead. He was scary, but he had no affiliation with anyone until recently.
Either way, he knew he wasn’t about to get involved with whatever was about to happen, at least not directly.
This was his job: to keep the products flowing and make sure the distribution was uninterrupted, but here came the problem.
It was no longer as easy because others had closed off their routes after the stunt they pulled.
This made the only way possible to use the back roads an illegal route that was sure to cause problems.
Alfredo hated being in this situation because he knew that if he was caught.
There was no doubt he would be killed or worse.
There was no way around this; he had to make a choice.

Isabella had taken the Agency to new heights, and it was thriving.
She had gotten multiple actresses’ jobs already, and this only skyrocketed their fame.
However, these weren’t breakout roles, but it was a good start regardless because it put their name on the map.
The movie premiere was for today, and Isabella was aware of the importance because this was the breakout movie that would put them on the map.
She had no idea how Kyle made it happen, but everything was going according to plan.
Revenue? It was far from lacking; everything was perfect right down to the minute detail.
Isabella thought he must have an ulterior motive, but there was nothing of such just yet.
Everything Kyle did was for the best of the Agency, and this was something she appreciated from the bottom of her heart.
This was a reveal because she knew she could rise to the top as long as Kyle remained by her side.
The most important feature she noticed was that he didn’t make any passes at her and kept it professional.
If it were any other men, they would have tried to get in her pants, and this was why Kyle thrived when it came to women.
The abundance of mediocre men made the bare minimum feel like the peak of humanity.
If the world had better standards, Kyle wouldn’t have had this much of an effect on the women around him, but the money aided in that as well.
Because this wasn’t his reality when he was poor, it only became his reality as of late, and Kyle didn’t argue with the fate the world had bestowed on him.
Isabella hadn’t heard from him for quite some time, even though he was verbal in trusting her to handle everything.
She didn’t expect him to be this hands-off, but Isabella knew they could reach new heights if Kyle decided to become an actor himself.
He was the perfect talent, she had never seen anything like that all of her life, but how does one ask their boss to become an employer in the very place they owned?
She had no idea how to and didn’t want to push her luck either.
Isabella had a bad feeling about his dealings with Nakamura because that man rubbed her in all of the wrong ways.
Tonight was a huge stepping stone, and Isabella planned to attend the event; she had already received an invitation.
–
The night slowly crept up, and some A-list celebrities were present in that building; this also meant the security would be top-notch to ensure all of their safety.
The most glamorous people the world had ever seen were walking into this building, but there was one name that stood out in that arena– Jensen Ackles.
This man got all of the attention not only because of his dashing looks, but also because he never aged a day.
No one could believe someone like that would attend this, but it showed the reach Nakamura had to make this happen.
Jensen Ackles already had over a hundred pictures taken of him the moment he entered the gate, despite other celebrities being present.
The truth was he wasn’t just a great actor onscreen, he was very likeable outside of it.
“Wow, so many cameras…” Jensen muttered under his breath, dressed in one of the most casual fits known to man.
A simple short-sleeved white shirt and black trousers with some sandals, with a Rolex around his wrist.
It took little over a minute for Calista to spot him, and the moment she did, she left Lorenzo’s sight.
Lorenzo was puzzled by this until his eyes also caught wind of Jensen, and he, too, was eager to meet him but had to calm himself down.
Jensen didn’t even register Calista in his line of sight because he was too busy trying his best to get into the building.
Calista knew she couldn’t approach like a groupie, or that was how she would be treated.
Jensen finally saw her, but looked right past her like his eyes didn’t register her.
Who could blame him? He has seen women Calista could only hope to look like, but it could also be because he was a married man.
Jensen finally made his way into the building with Calista trailing a couple of people behind him.
This was going to be a long night, but Calista knew she had to make the most of this gathering because there was no telling what role they would play in her life.
But the moment she stepped in, she recognised other smaller celebrities, but there was no doubt they had been in movies that trended, as she had watched them herself.
She instantly felt small despite being the star of this movie they all came to see, but Calista felt a hand around her shoulder.
She jerked her head in the direction of the hand and saw a man she wasn’t familiar with.
It was no other than Nakamura, and Calista immediately broke away from him.
She would have cussed him out, but if he was able to get in here, it meant he must be someone of status. She forced a smile, fighting the urge not to recoil at the thought of his previous touch.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you,” Nakamura was quick to apologise, with Yuki standing beside him.
Calista couldn’t tell if this was an escort or his daughter, but it wasn’t her responsibility, nor did she care about this information.
She wanted to meet Jensen but realised she had lost sight of him, kissing her teeth in frustration.
“It is fine, is there something I can help you with?” Calista questioned, trying her best to hold her smile.
“Nothing, I’m just here to congratulate you on the release of the movie,” Nakamura said, but Yuki just looked at her with no visible admiration for her beauty.
“Thank you so much!” Calista showed her gratitude, but unknown to her, she was standing right in front of the man who made the movie possible.
