Chapter 186 Behind That Door.
Kyle was alone with Tasha, but it wasn’t something he needed at this point. He kept his hands hidden at all times, aware of what could happen if Tasha saw them. It would give her an excuse to overstay her welcome, and he had planned to tell her off nicely—or ask for Aiysha.
Tasha walked over to the punching bag and examined it carefully. Kyle wasn’t sure if there was still blood on it, but he felt an uneasy tension in the air. “You’re boxing without protection?” she asked, running her fingers along the bag. Kyle noticed that her fingers came into contact with blood, and his discomfort grew.
“You must really want to get those demons out,” Tasha remarked, a knowing look in her eyes. Kyle pretended to have no idea what she was talking about, trying to downplay the situation.
“Demons?” Kyle repeated, offering an uncomfortable laugh. He couldn’t understand what was going on, but there was no way this woman knew what he was going through.
“Only a man who is fighting something will punch a bag until his hands bleed,” Tasha said confidently. She then showed him her finger, where a small crimson-red stain had formed at the tip. Kyle’s stomach churned as he wondered if she was trying to make some kind of connection or if she genuinely understood what was happening.
“Ha, I guess I must’ve gotten carried away,” Kyle said, attempting to brush off the seriousness of the situation, though his heart was racing now.
Tasha started walking toward him, and Kyle felt increasingly uncomfortable. She was beautiful, and no man in their right mind would be able to turn her down if she was offering attention. She was gorgeous, and in theory, 99% of men would accept this kind of attention from a woman.
Unlike women, who were used to receiving attention around the clock, men were often starved of it. It was a different kind of power, and Tasha knew how to wield it. But what she did next showed just how far she was willing to go. She stuck her finger in her mouth and licked it clean, completely disregarding the blood on it.
“What are you doing?” Kyle asked, raising an eyebrow. She didn’t even know if he had any diseases, yet she was willing to do this without fear or hesitation.
“I’m helping you clean up the mess you made,” Tasha responded smoothly, standing inches away from him, looking up at him with a smile that revealed her dimples. She reached for his hands, which were hidden behind him, and took them in her much smaller hands.
“Poor thing, you’re a mess,” she said softly, but Kyle felt a shift. His anger had dissipated, replaced by emotions he didn’t want to acknowledge, emotions that seemed to be focused entirely on her.
“There are other ways to let out your stress, you know?” Tasha suggested, leading him to a bench. He sat down, but Tasha soon let go of his hands and reached for a first aid kit beneath the bench.
“You must have so much rage,” she muttered before wrapping his hands in bandages, her fingers moving with a sense of purpose. Kyle couldn’t help but watch, even though his mind was racing.
“Hm…” Kyle thought to himself, unsure whether he was intrigued or disturbed. Whatever this woman was doing seemed to work.
“I could help you deal with it,” Tasha said, her voice smooth, her eyes glinting with something Kyle couldn’t quite place. The thing was, she was subtle. Even if Kyle were recording the conversation, Tasha hadn’t said anything that could be considered inappropriate.
“How do you plan on doing so?” Kyle asked, his voice betraying some curiosity, but as he spoke, Tasha slowly lifted his hands and placed his middle finger between her lips. She twirled her tongue around it before taking it fully in, making Kyle’s jaw tighten. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
He knew that people like this existed in workplaces, those who did things to make extra money. It was the same with massages, and “happy endings”—prostitution made legal. The idea of it all made Kyle uneasy. There was no telling what disease she might have, if she was so casual about taking people’s blood into her body.
She removed his fingers and they were covered in her saliva.
“I’m afraid I cannot help you here, but here’s my number,” Tasha said, handing him her card with a smile that felt too rehearsed.
Kyle looked at the card, unsure how to respond. She was offering something, but if this was the kind of service he was interested in, he could have just hired a prostitute. There was no need for someone of his status to engage in something so… foolish.
Tasha stood up and walked toward the door, and Kyle couldn’t help but notice how her buttocks moved with each exaggerated step she took. It was impossible not to notice. She made her body wiggle intentionally, and Kyle realized he might have to indulge in that, but only on his terms. He wasn’t going to let her control the situation.
When she reached for the doorknob and tried to open the door, she felt an external force pushing against it. She turned around, startled, and saw Kyle standing right behind her, his face expressionless. She smiled.
“It looks like you can’t wait,” she said before Kyle made his move.

Aiysha had been keeping an eye on the clock. She noticed that Tasha had been in the room longer than expected. Aiysha knew the kind of person Tasha was, so if Kyle was entertaining her for this long, there was a chance something sexual was going on.
But why did this bother her so much? It shouldn’t have, because Kyle was a grown man, free to do whatever he wanted. If he wanted to sleep with Tasha, that was entirely up to him, but there was also a chance they were just working out.
Tasha might be a “sexually liberated” woman, but she also took her job seriously. She wouldn’t make any moves unless the other person entertained the idea. She never forced anything. So whatever was happening inside that room, Kyle must have been at least willing to entertain it. Whether they were “working out” or “working out,” Aiysha didn’t know why it bothered her.
It shouldn’t have affected her, but was she feeling territorial? Was she getting attached to Kyle in a way she hadn’t expected?
Aiysha took a deep breath to compose herself, but her eyes kept glancing at the door. Every time she did, she hoped that Tasha would walk out, but that never happened.
Aiysha thought about going over to see what was going on, but she knew that if she did, there was no telling what could happen. She had to maintain boundaries and not allow things to get too personal.
Kyle had chosen this gym, but choosing who trained him was entirely up to him. But what happened next made Aiysha’s heart feel lighter. Tasha left the room after seven minutes, and Aiysha had no idea what had happened.
Seven minutes wasn’t long enough for anything meaningful to happen, but there was also the possibility that something had.
Tasha looked in Aiysha’s direction and winked, adjusting the lip gloss on her lips.
“What…?” Aiysha thought to herself. She could no longer contain her curiosity. She knew exactly what Tasha was implying.
Aiysha walked toward the door, determined to find out what Kyle was up to.
She wanted to knock, but she noticed that the door was slightly open.
She had the option to open it quietly, without alerting him to her presence. This way, Kyle wouldn’t have time to compose himself or hide whatever he’d been doing with Tasha.
Aiysha peeked through the crack in the door and saw that Kyle was nowhere to be seen. He must have gone to the bathroom.
For reasons she didn’t fully understand, Aiysha stepped into the room without his consent to look around.
“What the hell am I doing?” she wondered to herself. This was clearly inappropriate behavior, but she convinced herself she couldn’t let Kyle fall into Tasha’s clutches.
Tasha wasn’t a good person, and Aiysha told herself she was only trying to protect him. She was at fault, though, because it was her fault Tasha had access to him in the first place.
The shower was running, so Aiysha knew she had limited time. Time was ticking, and Kyle could come out at any moment.
It didn’t take more than 10 seconds after Aiysha had arrived for Kyle to walk out of the bathroom.
“The shower’s still on…” Aiysha thought to herself, quickly ducking out of sight as she watched Kyle head for the door.
“I can’t have anyone walking in when I’m in the shower,” Kyle muttered, locking the door from the inside.
That option gave them complete control over their privacy with no worry of interruption.
Kyle returned to the shower shortly after, but Aiysha stayed in the room.
It was her only chance to find out what had happened between Kyle and Tasha.
She looked around the room. Her eyes landed on the first aid kit, which had been pulled out. There was blood smeared on the boxing bag.
Aiysha didn’t need to be a genius to put the pieces together.
Kyle must have been boxing without protective gear and injured himself. Tasha must have offered to help clean the wound.
Aiysha sighed in relief, but then she noticed she was standing right behind the bathroom door, which was left slightly ajar.
The steam escaping from the crack in the door tempted her. It drew her in. Suddenly, temptation found her.
