Guide to raise my cutie husbands

Chapter 1840 - 1840: Can't deal? Divert. (2)

When Shu Ying heard that he was going to be poisoned, he felt thunderstruck. With his eyes popping wide, he tried to get away from Qiao Sha, “No! I wouldn’t dare to—please let me go. I—I will go into exile.”

Compared to being poisoned and dying, Shu Ying knew that getting exiled was much better. At least he would be alive. As long as he was alive, there was always a chance to turn the situation around but if he died, what was he going to do?

Qiao Sha sneered when she heard the words of the mer. She turned and looked at him with a hint of disgust in her eyes before saying, “Do you think this house of mine is somewhere you can come in and leave as you please? Since you dared to step inside, then you need to hand your life in return.”

Shu Ying was speechless. Were the gates of the Qiao family the gates to heaven that if he walked through them he had to die?

Shu Ying didn’t want to die. He got to his feet and tried to run away, but he was immediately subdued by the guards and was forced on the ground. His face hit the harsh ground making a rough sound but that wasn’t what scared him. The thing that scared him was the inevitable death sentence that was hanging on his head.

“Madam, please—please forgive me! I dare not do this again, I will never dare to do it again, I swear. Please madam, please forgive me –for the sake of the few days we have stayed together with each other, for the time I have spent to serve you. Please forgive me.”

Shu Ying was crying and sobbing. He was a terrified mess but no one was willing to sympathise with him.

The one who got greedy had to pay for his sins.

Shu Ying was pressed on the ground and the mammies who returned wrenched open his mouth and poured the poisonous wine inside of his mouth without letting him resist. Even though Shu Ying tried his best to resist, the majority of the wine ended up in his stomach.

“Ugh,” with the poison coursing in his body, he slumped to the floor without moving. His extremities twitched and twisted and soon his eyes rolled back in their sockets as his mouth fell agape and started frothing.

“Throw him away.” Once the mer stopped breathing, Qiao Sha heartlessly asked the mammies to throw him in the mass grave. This mer was the cause of her humiliation. The entire city now knew that she had fallen in love with a mer to the point where she was going crazy and didn’t even want her own daughter and husbands.

Qiao Sha dreaded the taunts and scoldings she had to receive once she settled everything down.

“How is the progress of the school teachers going?”

“Madam Yu, Madam Cao, and her husband had already finished their lessons on chemistry and agricultural teaching. As for Master Lei, he is done with his mathematics lessons, while Madam Mo Qing had been taught physics; she is now giving her last papers to finalise her own. And we have already arranged for a new teacher to arrive and teach the students classics and history.”

Yu Dong nodded. She said to Mammy Chu, “You can discuss this matter with Magistrate Li; I heard that her brother is quite a genius when it comes to classics and the history of this nation.”

Li Ming, according to Li Wan, was a wise mer. But because he was a mer, he could only stay at the house of his in-laws and never leave. Li Wan did say that she wanted to take a look at the condition of her half brother. Since that was the case, she could help them relay this matter to Li Ming.

As for whether he would take the post, Yu Dong was going to leave this matter to him.

“Since the school is ready, you can announce its opening,” Yu Dong looked at the school building in front of her emotionally. Because this school actually had a kindergarten, which meant that she could rest easy with the new troublemaker of her family.

“Mother!”

Speak of caw caw, caw caw will arrive.

Yu Dong turned to look at the mer who was running towards her with his tiny steps.

“Slow down.” Yu Dong caught hold of her son and then brought him up in her arms. “Now, what kind of trouble is brewing in your head?”

“Uu, I want uu…” Yu Jin replied with shiny eyes causing Yu Dong to frown.

“What did you say? What do you want?” she asked with a frown on her face.

“Uuu,” Yu Jin replied as he showed the book that Yu Dong had given to him. She looked down and saw the title that said,

[Hai Xu and his adventure at ZOO.]

Yu Dong: “….” My son, you have some deep ambitions.

Yu Dong sighed as she said to Yu Jin, “This book is a story book, Jin. Like how the fairies in the books are not real, the animals in the zoo are not real.”

“Humph, mother… bad,” as he spoke he pointed to the coyotes and white tiger sleeping in the yard of their family.

As soon as the little master pointed at them, the coyotes knew that they were in danger and immediately snuck away before the mistress got angry.

And so did the white tiger.

Yu Dong: ‘….’ You have heart.

book,

She sighed before making up another excuse, “There is no such thing—they are real but the rest are not.”

Yu Jin was a child; as long as she fooled him carefully, the mer would be fooled easily. At least that’s what Yu Dong thought until Yu Jin glared at her and said, “Not a fool. This is real—want to see!”

“Ah Jin,” Yu Dong was feeling helpless at his insistence but then she saw someone and her eyes lit up. Since she could not avoid it, she might as well divert the danger.
