Chapter 2593: Helplessly Tortured.

There were outer bodies protecting the god of nobles, so he was still fine despite having eyes all over his skin. It was only one of his outer bodies that was damaged.

The real killer move didn’t come until after the god of history and seers used the Sight Control divine ability on the god of nobles.

The Sight Control divine ability lets the godclads of the pathway of seers to control what others see with their eyes. This divine ability can be used to make someone blind, or it can make them see the wrong thing.

This time, the god of history and seers made each of the eyes see a different thing. In some of the visions, the world was spinning, and in other visions, the world was upside down.

To make things worse, in some visions that the eyes saw, the god of nobles was being attacked by someone. And sometimes, the god of nobles was the one doing the attacking. Other times, he was being eaten by someone.

All of these different sights confused the god of nobles to the extent that his mind cracked. The visual stimuli from so many eyes was so much that the god of nobles felt that he was many people at the same time.

The worst part of his situation was that he couldn’t resist or fight back because he was in the middle of his advancement. He had no choice but to endure the torture to his mind and was helpless to stop it.

Eventually, the mind of the god of nobles shattered into pieces as he tried to make sense of what was going on. Even his ego at the bottom of his mind was injured. This put an end to his advancement.

The attack was silent, and its effect was deadly. It bypassed the numerous outer bodies that the god of nobles had to protect himself and damaged his mind directly. There are very few gods who can achieve something like that.

If the god of seers were to continue using these divine abilities, it is not an understatement to say that he would kill the god of nobles. But he didn’t continue to use the divine abilities because he didn’t want to kill the god of nobles.

With the advancement interrupted and the mind of the god of nobles fractured so badly, the god of history and seers was satisfied. He withdrew the divine abilities and let the god of nobles go.

The eyes of the body of the god of nobles disappeared, and the confusing sights plaguing him left. As a god, he would be able to recover the injuries to his mind over time. But the god of telepathy didn’t give him time.

After the Legion noticed that nobles were losing their power, they realized that the god of nobles was advancing to become a high god. So they rushed over to kill him or interfere with the process.

After all, killing more nobles wouldn’t affect the god of nobles anymore if he succeeds in becoming a high god. So they rushed over as soon as possible.

Thanks to the Mindscape, it doesn’t take them much time to get to a place. If the place is somewhere they have been before or seen in someone’s memories, they can arrive very quickly. So they were able to arrive just in time to see the many eyes tormenting the god of nobles.

They didn’t do anything but watch. As they stood by, an eye on the wall said to them, “Just because you can kill the god of dreams doesn’t mean that every god is weak.”

This was the same thing that the god of seers had said to them when they were negotiating their deal. Since this eye was saying it to the god of telepathy, it meant that whoever owned the eye knows that the god of telepathy is the same undying angel of undying that killed the god of dreams.

The god of seers was saying this to show off his power to Legion and to intimidate them. The intimidation became complete when the eye said, “Don’t worry. We made a deal. I won’t tell anyone anything as long as you do your best in helping me defeat the god of knowledge.”

Then the eye withdrew completely, leaving the virtual body with the god of nobles.

Legion was irritated that the god of seers also knew that they had multiple pathways. They don’t know how much the god of seers knows about them, but that didn’t stop them from not liking the situation.

Legion grumbled and said, “Does everyone know our secret now?”

They weren’t really worried about the god of seers telling the world about them since the god of seers still needed them. But they initially planned to renege on the deal they made with the god of seers, and now it seems that they would have to honor that deal.

They grumbled about this for a while. Then Legion-1 said, “No matter. As long as we continue to grow stronger, there is no problem that can’t be solved.”

With that said, they began the work of breaking down the outer bodies of the god of nobles. It was something that they thought would be difficult and would draw attention, but none of that happened.

They wanted to kill the god of nobles and were attacking him in order to achieve that goal. But the god of nobles wasn’t resisting them at all.

The god of nobles just stood there with a look of horror on his face and did nothing as they struck him with blow after blow of mental attacks. This made it very easy to kill him.

The fact that their mental attacks were silent and invisible also made the fact that they were in the process of killing the god of nobles hidden from the world.

This wouldn’t have happened if the god of nobles had a sound mind. Even a moderately sound mind would have made things more difficult for Legion.
