Chapter 2429: Sun Authority.

Legends can only resist the impure spiritual energy, though. They are not immune to it.

So legends can’t stay in the spiritual dimension forever. If they stay for too long, they can still turn mad.

Also, liberating their divine forms will accelerate the process of losing their minds, not slow it down. So it is not encouraged for legends to liberate their divine forms in the spiritual dimension.

The second thing that is apparently different about the spiritual dimension is the intense light. There is so much light in the spiritual dimension that it is as bright as day.

All of the light is coming from the sun in the sky. This sun doesn’t move at all, so there is no cycle of day and night in the spiritual dimension. There is always day here.

The physical world is always dark and cold. So people need energy springs to live.

On the other hand, the spiritual dimension is always bright and hot. But people can’t live here. Either the hot sun kills them or the impure spiritual energy will kill them.

There is a third source of danger in the spiritual dimension, which makes this place a forbidden ground for even legends, demigods, and angels. But that is something Legion is hoping to encounter, not run away from.

In fact, if this danger doesn’t find them, they are prepared and equipped to look for it. In the meantime, they stood in place while staring at the sun in the sky.

Legion-3 said, “Fortunately, we are not in the pathway of light.”

Legion-2 said to him, “Don’t be happy yet. We still have a slave of the pathway of light.”

What he said made Legion-3 groan and say, “Right. I guess not everything will be easy for us.”

Legion-7 encouraged, “It is not all bad for us. First of all, by the time we come for this sun, we will be a god ourselves. Secondly, we should be glad that the Authority of the pathway is clear for everyone to see and reach.”

Legion-10 said, “Don’t forget that the requirement to acquire it is straightforward. That is also a good thing.”

Legion-3 snorted and said, “It might be straightforward, but I am not sure it is a good thing.”

Legion-10 chuckled and conceded by saying, “Maybe you’re right. It definitely won’t be easy to acquire it, or anyone would have acquired it by now.”

They were talking about how the sun in the sky is the authority of the pathway of light. This is something that is common knowledge among legends, yet no one has been able to subdue this authority of the pathway.

The location of the authority of the pathway is known. Even the requirements to subdue it are also known. Yet, for so many years, the pathway of light has never had a god.

The first requirement to subdue the sun is to belong to the pathway of light. Godclads of other pathways will be either unable to touch the sun no matter how strong they are, or they will be attacked violently if they use a shortcut to touch the sun.

The second requirement is to touch the sun without burning to dust. This so-called straightforward requirement is what has stumped the angels of the pathway of light for so long.

As long as someone belongs to the pathway of light, the sun won’t attack them. But that doesn’t mean that they will be able to get close enough to it to touch it without dying.

Many gods have been said to have tried to subdue the sun and have failed. Even the god of blood had failed in doing so. This has caused the sun to have a fearsome reputation.

But Legion wasn’t cowered by this sun. Just like they weren’t impressed by the display of power of the god of justice, they weren’t impressed with the reputation and power of this sun.

In this case, they weren’t impressed with this sun because they have eaten many stars in their future. Not only did they eat stars, they also ate worlds and even tried to eat a whole universe.

So this one sun doesn’t cower them. They only thought that it would be troublesome to subdue. But they are actually looking forward to subduing it.

They took one last look at the sun and then glanced around them. When they saw that they hadn’t been attacked yet, they were surprised.

Legion-1 wondered aloud, saying, “Is there another demigod killer in the spiritual dimension? Or is it an angel of killing?”

He asked that question because usually, when someone enters the spiritual dimension, they are swarmed by divine beasts of their pathway that attack them and try to kill them.

All the divine beasts on their pathway in their vicinity will sense them and rush towards them instantly from wherever they are. This is the third source of danger in the spiritual dimension.

The only reason that this wouldn’t happen is if there is another person in the pathway nearby that is higher up the pathway. The divine beasts will prioritize the stronger godclad and won’t rest until that godclad is gone from the spiritual dimension or dies. Ths chapter is updated by N()velFire.net

If there are two godclads of the same pathway and the same rank around each other in the spiritual dimension, the divine beasts will prioritize the one with the stronger spiritual power.

If they both have the same spiritual power, the divine beast will prioritize the one in the liberated divine form and will attack them first.

As they are rank 7 killers and currently in their liberated divine form, the only kind of killers that are more tempting to kill than them and will draw away attention from them are demigod and angelic killers.

Legion didn’t like that something like this had happened. But they couldn’t complain much. They picked a direction and began walking.

The direction they picked was one they did after using the Predict divine ability of the pathway of fate. So it should be a direction that will lead them to the closest available rank 8 blood beast.
