Chapter 2162 - 2162: Walker Vs Warrior.
The custodian was attacked on his way to reinforce Captain Sheckel. He had left Ivory Town when he was blocked and surrounded.
The people who attacked him were the boss of the Silver Mirror black market and some mercenaries. The boss of the black market stood in front in a robe that glittered as if it contained stars.
The custodian stopped when he noticed them. Then he began to remove his robe and shirt in preparation for the fight.
The other two lamp bearers behind him bared their fist or raised their weapon in preparation for battle. The other side also took on a posture of a fight to the death.
But the enemies had more people, so they were more confident in themselves. It was why they had a faint smile or sneer on their faces while the faces of the lamp bearers were grim.
As he disrobed, the custodian said, “Silver Mirror, I can’t believe it has come to this. You might be able to escape again, but all of these people are going to die.”
The boss of the black market was not to be outdone. He said, “That may be so, Clark. But it will be at the cost of your life. You have finally come out of that turtle shell that you call a base. I must make you regret it today.”
The custodian’s robe fell to the ground. When it did, he shook his head and said, “Even if you defeat me, you will regret it. The Lamp bearers will never let you go. Anyone who kills a lamp bearer will die. The god of justice has decreed it.”
Silver Mirror also shook his head and said in pity, “Is that why you think it is worth it for you to die? I must say that I pity you, Clark. Even if you’re right and I do die, that is still in the future.”
Then Silver Mirror smiled and said, “Besides, I think it is worth it to kill you even if I die. That way, my sister can also rest in peace.”
Clark smiled too. He said, “If I meet her in the underworld, I’ll tell her what a big shot her brother has become.”
After exchanging pleasantries, the two sides began to fight. Silver Mirror rushed at Clark with a mirror and a dagger in his hand.
Silver Mirror was a walker while Clark was a warrior. Yet, Clark didn’t escape and was instead rushing into close combat with Clark as if he wasn’t afraid. This was an odd sight.
What was odder was that Clark stepped back and away from Silver Moon as soon as he saw the walker rushing towards him. He had the impulse to keep his distance from the rank 4 walker.
It was a correct impulse as a result of his rank 2 divine ability called Martial Instinct. This divine ability makes him a great fighter and also warns him of danger in battle. So he should keep his distance from the Walker.
Unfortunately, if he steps back, he will be leaving the two lamp bearers with him to deal with Silver Moon. As weaker godclads, they won’t be able to avoid Silver Moon as fast as him, so they will be caught, and whatever danger he was avoiding will fall on them.
He didn’t want that to happen. So he overcame his instincts and activated his Rank 4 divine ability, Weapon Arsenal. This ability burned his spiritual energy and used it to summon every weapon that he ever owned.
He can summon every weapon he ever owned, but this will cause the consumption of spiritual energy to be massive. Doing that might drain him of his 160 units of spiritual energy completely if he isn’t careful. So he limited his summoning to two.
Two phantom spears appeared before him. Then they shot towards Silver Moon.
Silver Moon didn’t stop approaching despite two deadly weapons flying towards him. He simply raised his mirror to hit one of the spears while he allowed the other spear to strike him.
The spear that struck the mirror shrank into the spear and disappeared. The mirror was a gateway, so it was able to transport the weapon away.
The same thing happened to the weapon that struck Silver Mirror’s body. The robe was made of many glittering mirrors, so the spear disappeared too.
Clark’s eyes narrowed at the sight. At first glance, he was in a hopeless situation. But thanks to martial instinct, he had already grasped the situation after a single attack and thought of an effective solution.
So he made up his mind to go all out. He clasped his hands together and roared as his spiritual energy burned in large batches.
Many phantom weapons appeared around him after this move. They were ghostly, ephemeral forms of weapons that glowed slightly, so they made him stand out in the darkness.
Clark continued to roar as he brought down his clasped hands as if pressing down on something in front of him. The phantom weapons around him responded and flew towards Silver Moon.
The sight of so many weapons coming for him made Silver Mirror’s eyes narrow slightly. But he still didn’t stop trying to approach Clark.
Silver Mirror continued to run, which helped to narrow the distance between him and the barrage of weapons. This time, he didn’t bother using the mirror in his hands. He just rushed ahead without a care.
The two quickly crashed into each other. When that happened, there was a massive explosion.
Clark had detonated all the phantom weapons as soon as they made contact with Silver Mirror. So instead of the phantom weapons being transported away silently by the gateways in the mirror and on Silver Moon’s robes, they went away with a big bang and a lot of light.
After using this attack, Clark fell to his knees. He felt weak physically and mentally. Blood was even flowing freely from his nose and eyes. It appeared that the capillaries in them had burst.
