Since they were not doing anything, they decided to bring their plan forward. They asked Black Knife to make contact with the owner of the Silver Mirror black market and the Ivory family in an attempt to come to a cooperative agreement with them.

Legion watched all of these happen in the safety of their house. They don’t plan to get in touch with any of these personally.

They have to leave the lamp bearers soon because they are getting too powerful and will be under more scrutiny going forward. But before they leave, they want a lot of things from the lamp bearers first.

However, they don’t plan to kill any lamp bearers themselves. From what they knew before they became lamp bearers and what they learned after joining the blood network, they know that it will be very difficult to get away with the crime of killing a lamp bearer.

Only people who don’t fear the lamp bearers will kill lamp bearers. Someone like a rank 4 walker who can easily escape a manhunt and someone like a rank 4 noble who is just waiting for any opportunity to destroy the lamp bearers and take back his land are the right people to use to kill lamp bearers.

The mutants were more powerful than the normal godclads of the same rank. So a rank 2 mutant needed many rank 2 godclads to defeat or a rank 3 godclad to defeat.

This requirement already pushed the lamp bearers to the limit in terms of quantity of manpower. They didn’t have enough people to handle the large number of mutants. But this was not the main problem.

The main problem was the beasts attacking from the wilds. These beasts were not less than the number of rampaging mutants. They were also very powerful and attacked in waves.

When Legion was asked to return to work, they didn’t like it. They had only been practicing for four days since their caretakers left them. But when they heard why they were being called in, they smiled.
