A Red Scroll Artifact continued to glow. The next second, a crimson orb shot from the Artifact and entered my mind.
It was the fourth orb to enter my mind, and it settled down beside the third orb.
I was worried that my mind would face a backlash, but it did not happen. Everything went smoothly.
A few seconds later, my gaze fell on the dark root vine. It was completely subdued.
“I’m severely injured.”
“I’m going to die!”
Suddenly, I could hear the voice of the Dark Root Vine in my mind.
The next second, I took some treasures from the storage bracelet and gave them to the monster.
“You can use these treasures to recover. You are part of my team now. Hereafter, you have to address me as Master,” I said to the monster.
The Dark Root Vine Monster was stunned. It didn’t expect to understand the Human’s words so clearly. What’s more, it could communicate with him.
Then it said, “Yes, Master.”
“Good,” I replied.
The monster got confirmation again. The human could understand him, and it could understand the human’s words.
On the other hand, my eyes gleamed with a twinkle. I didn’t expect to succeed in subduing the monster. Then my gaze fell on the Red Scroll Artifact, which had lost its glow.
I put the Red Scroll Artifact back in the system space. My gaze then turned towards the vine monster.
It was now consuming the rare plant and fruit type treasures to heal from its wounds. Seeing that, I told the monster to continue to heal here.
I wanted to ask about the stone chambers, but before that, I decided to leave the place.
I walked into the control room and arrived in front of the control mirror. The hidden room was empty. No one was here.
“Did they leave?” I asked myself.

The next second, I appeared outside. My feet didn’t even touch the ground.
I exited and came to the tunnel. Then I saw that the Magic Lord and the Supreme Wizard were at the end of the tunnel.
My eyes glinted with understanding. They were searching the room at the end of the tunnel. It was a good opportunity to leave.

I started moving towards the end. My body moved fast. In the blink of an eye, I came to the stairs. Then I started walking upstairs before coming out of the stone exit.
The next second, my gaze fell on the white tent and the space here. There was no one around. In a flash, I exited the tent.
I saw other camps outside. There were a few wizards here and there. There was also the sound of talking coming from these camps.
Then I left the place. It didn’t take long for me to leave the hilltop base. Then I returned to the entangled trees.
When I reached the stone chamber, I heaved a sigh of relief. I entered the stone chamber and reached the room where my team members were.
Hank was awake. He was keeping watch. Hank suddenly felt someone enter the room. When he raised his head and saw the person, he was stunned because the person was none other than Master.
“Master,” he stood up and greeted.
His words reached the ears of Patrick and Otto as well. They woke up from their sleep and stood up the next moment.
“Master,” both of them greeted the next moment.
Hearing that, I nodded to them. Then I told them to continue keeping watch.

The next second, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. I saw the Dark Root Vine was busy healing. My appearance alerted the monster.
I told the monster to take a rest. I was going to sleep now, so I went to bed.
The Dark Root Vine Monster was relaxed. The Monster understood that plant-type treasures were rare.
The Master had given the treasure to it without thinking further. The Monster, for the first time, didn’t feel bad about being subdued.
It then continued to lay down. Compared to before, the size of the Monster was small. It had reduced its size.
Meanwhile,
Magic Lord Tom and the Supreme Wizard Buck exited the stone chambers with other Level-9 Wizards.
They were disappointed because they had failed to find the plant-type monster. Not only that, but there weren’t any other hidden rooms.
Inside the tunnel, there were only two hidden rooms. One was located at the end of the tunnel. It had clay figurines.
The other one had the 10th Order Monster earlier, but it had gone somewhere.
They were unable to find it. Supreme Wizard Buck didn’t dare to look at the face of Magic Lord Tom. He told him that he was telling the truth.
Yet the 10th Order Monster was able to escape from their grasp.
The old man Tom was feeling slightly embarrassed. He couldn’t find the 10th Order Monster, but he found one thing.
This place was not ordinary. He was going to report to the higher-ups. They needed to explore more. Maybe they could find where the monster had gone.
He then turned around and ordered Supreme Wizard Buck and the others to protect the place. The hilltop base was important to them.
Now they had uncovered something secret. The information needed to be protected. If the news leaked to the other camps, it would cause problems for them.
Though they were allied forces, they still had their own interests to look after. They didn’t want the news to reach other allied forces.
Not only that, the whole allied force was looking for the three intruders. They were from outside. Right now, they must be hiding somewhere in the Nocturnal Forest.
It was all the more important for the news not to reach them. If they were to release the news to the outside world, then the local forces won’t be able to do anything.
Magic Lord Tom severely warned Supreme Wizard Buck and others. Hearing that, Supreme Wizard Buck was shocked to the core.
The Level-9 Wizards were scared as well. They didn’t dare to disobey the order.
